error 52030. I am trying to connect the Wii online via wireless through apples base stations. The Wii is able to find the base station as an access point and everything works fine until the connection test.
I had a similar problem, you may need to go into the connection, and manually set it with the DNS, etc. However, your connection to a hotspot so you probably cant get this info. But setting it up manualy fixed my problem.

Error code: 51040.

I have the Wi-Fi USB connector and it's unable to find an access point, and it said something about confirming the SSID. I am so confused. I think I might cry.

I don't even know what an SSID is, or where I can find it. My head is going all exploady now.

Hello, Im sorry your so confused with the awsome wii. Maybe I can try and clear this up for ya.
SSID in wireless = Service Set Identifier
This is the name of your wireless connection that is being broadcasting. For example, linksys routers usually default to "linksys" as the ssid. What your Wii is probably talking about is it cannot find your access point, so it wants you to put in the SSID manually, you can find this in your routers setup page. I dont use the wifi usb connector so I know im not much help. However, make sure its setup properly, and try changing the channel on your router. I had to make mine 1, and set the configuration on the wii connection manually in order to get it finally to connect.
Hope this helps a little,

While that does help clear things up, I still can't find the SSID. I can't find the set up page, or any page, other than the little pop-up that tells me which device I am trying to connect to. All it does is ask for permission to connect, and nothing else. Also, I don't have any channels. It's just the USB plugged into the back of my CPU. :( Why can't things like this be easy?

now that i think about it...

is the official Nintendo wi-fi usb connector even compatible with the wii? I did research and found some sources about it, but I'm getting skeptical =/
Why would something so official refuse to work? :incazzato: :mad2:

:(

So... could someone kindly explain to me why i get the same error command.
My router: BT1800
Im not out of range because my computer is next to it.
My WEP key is right, use the same on my computer.
I have tried repeatedly to get it to work.
When make a connection, and test it, it works but, when i try and click the "Agreement/Contact", i get this error code.
I have no idea how to change the channel to 1 or 11 or whatever that is or upgrade firmware lol.
So somone please shed light on what is wrong :p

Looks like your getting a step furhter....... see the problem I was having was it passed the connection test, but I couldnt get it to connect to the wiiconnect 24 to accept the terms. router config SHOULD be 192.168.1.1 depending on your make/model. When I switched my channel to 1, then went to the connection in the wii and went to the manual configuration I left everything alone but put in my DNS address, which is my router. From then on.. everything worked.

In order to change the channel in your router, you need to access the configuration.. most routers are 192.168.1.1 in your IE. You may need to look up in google or some place for that info, as well as the default username and password. Your having the same problem I was...... so try changing your channel to 1, and on the wii go over to the settings/internet select your connenction and change the configurations, go over to the DNS, and then enter your DNS address, possibly your routers 192.168.1.1 if DNS is enabled on it.

i am getting many errors so far iv gotten 32002 52030 and 52130 im using a dell tower we have MAC address security enabled so i have entered my wiis MAC into my router i have cleared my setting to try again and now it wont even find my access point. o yeh im using wireless DSL high speed internet.

Apple Computer Problem Please Help

Hi I use an Apple computer and OSX. The router I use is the Westell Model 327W. When I try to get my Wii connected I'm fine up until the "test connection" process. When it attempts the connection it fails and I get the Error Code: 51330. I looked at the operations manual, I looked on nintendo's support site and I looked on this site which usually referred me back to nintendo's support site. Even after reading nintendo's support page I don't know how to access any of the stuff it tells me to. I didn't have a choice in owning an apple computer I'm stuck with it and don't know a lot of technical stuff about it...which sucks. I have searched apple computer forums on other websites and some say I need to access my airport card(whatever that is) but I don't think I have one since the option to access it is there but I cannot click on it. If anyone has an apple computer or just knows how to help me out I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you very much!
