Outta the blue, I decided I'd do that Combined Nuzlocke I went on about a month or two ago. I say it's time for a Moveset-Nuzlocke Combined Challenge.
As I catch my six-man team, I'll need y'all to supply me movesets for said Pokes. My starter is Mudkip (since this is a Nuzlocke, I'm more concerned over bulk than power; that, and every1 lieks mudkipz), so someone get on that. I've been over the rules in the past hour as well, so there's been a few updates. 'Fore ya give me any movesets, make sure ya check the Moveset Challenge's regulations on givin' movesets; they were part of the rules' update as well.
Too tired to bother with an update now, but I'll mention I've caught a Slakoth. Someone get me a moveset for Swampert 'n Slaking, yeah?
Swampert
-Earthquake
-Surf
-Blizzard
-Take Down
Slaking
-Fire Blast
-Brick Break
-Bulk Up
-Hyper Beam
You hardly need HMs in White, especially since Stunfisk and Claydol will know Surf and Strength, so all I need is cut to get into the Dream YardShould he do 6? or 4-5 so he can have HM slave(s)?
Mamoswine:
Earthquake
Ice Fang (you'll need a Heart Scale to learn the move after Swinub evolves, the move-relearner is in Mistralton)
Rock Slide (TM found in Mistralton Cave)
Strength
The moves are pretty obvious. Earthquake and Ice Fang for good STAB, Rock Slide is a good move and hits quite a few Pokemon alongside a Ground move, and Strength since some Poke has to have it in the party; might as well be Mamoswine. It's moveset is pretty awesome with just the three other moves after all.
Claydol:
Earth Power
Extrasensory
Reflect (Nimbasa City, buy for 30,000)
Light Screen (Nimbasa City, buy for 30,000)
Claydol is very bulky, so I thought I'd make it so the moveset plays to those strengths. I'd of given it just Light Screen (Ground types usually have poor Special Defense after all, it'd help the team) and a recovery move if it learned one, but it doesn't... ... ... What Psychic types don't learn Recover? -_- If ya end up havin' to grind a ton to afford both of the TMs, I'll drop Reflect for another move if necessary down the line.
So yeah, that's my new moveset format. Bold for STAB, italics for TMs, nothin' for moves that ain't either of those. Why, ya ask? Why the hell not. ... Says Count Dirge.
