I dissaprove of Sakurai not including a Battlefield version of all stages and stock battles but this is still a huge improvement to the online in Brawl.

Who chose the music for the video? Nintendo? Sakruai? Or the Mega64 group who Nintendo hired to make the video?
Such decisions of what music goes where is the producers job not the company who hires them!

Would Nintendo leak a character to a North American group and expect them to hint at it?
I think not! The suggestion of it is very improbable.

You are clearly reluctant to accept that Ghirahim has a fair shot at being playable in Smash Bros. Yes, you are correct, Nintendo might have not been responsible for the choice of music, and Mega64 might have merely chosen it because they liked it, or something of that nature.

However, you are putting too much stock in that one possibility. It is very possible that Nintendo instructed them to use that theme. Nintendo, or Sakurai, couldn't have given Mega64 absolutely no guidelines for the video. It is also possible that Mega64 was informed of Ghirahim being playable, and told to keep it secret, aside from this hint.

Furthermore, the decision to use Ghirahim's theme in the first place is very interesting. Not only do they use his theme, they use two variations of it, and it is prominent in the video. I find it difficult to believe they had no good reason for doing this. They could have easily have picked a theme which would not spark confusion and hype amongst the fanbase, such as a Bowser theme. They are obviously trying to hint at Ghirahim to some extent by deliberately picking his theme out of many possibilities, and if he is not in the game as a playable character, or some other prominent role, they are trolling. It is entirely possible that is the case, and that they are just trolling, but I find it slightly unlikely.

Irrelevant, I will still wholeheartedly moan about it. The lack of stocks is absolutely baffling. Especially not having at least one game mode with randoms havin' stocks (but also a time limit; 2 stocks to everyone and 4-5 minutes, for example). The majority of Smash players, the largest majority by a long shot in fact, prefers stocks. Literally only one person has EVER asked me to play a Timed Brawl instead'a Stocks. Furthermore, competitive play completely hinges on stocks as opposed to timed matches. Overlooking not only what the fans prefer but what the competitive scene DEMANDS, is foolhardy and unjustifiable.

Sakurai done ****ed up in this matter.

Why do you think this was just a video about the new Super Smash Bros. game?

There were five things Nintendo wanted to be announced in that video.
1. Nintendo wants people to know that this next E3 is going to be huge for Nintendo
2. Nintendo will be hosting a Smash Tourney at E3
3. Nintendo will have Best Buy hosting Super Smash Bros. Demo
4. Streaming of the Nintendo game lineup
5. The time of E3

There was indeed a focas on the new Super Smash Bros. game
but that doesn't mean that was the point of the video!
These points clearly show that this video was about E3 not just Super Smash Bros.!

You came to the conclusion that because that Ghirahim's Theme was playing, they must be hinting at Ghirahim's inclusion as a playable character in the up coming Smash game. However, did you consider:

This point hardly matters anyway because the real question is
Who is the audience for the video?

Look at this frame in the video:

Clearly it says Nintendo of America!
Therefore the target audience for this video is AMERICA!
Answer me this:
Why would Mega64, a group hired by Nintendo of America, have the access to the character roster or rather Nintendo of America have the roster?
Don't forget that the video itself was about E3 in general NOT exclusively Smash Bros.
If Nintendo of America had the roster information, why would they leak the information in a general video about E3 and if Nintendo leaked it, why did they give it exclusively to Nintendo of America!?!?!
If this were the case than the announcements in the other languages would include the same hinting!
