Just noticed that Poison Fang is actually a good move now. Still has that pitiful 50 BP, but it has a whopping 50% chance to badly poison. That's really neat. It's a shame that it has such meh distribution, it could be useful on certain Pokemon. I can see bulky Drapion, Golbat, and Crobat using it a lot.

I don't see that bein' a viable option. Even with STAB and hitting neutral, a bulky Poke that would normally carry Toxic wouldn't do much damage at all t' risk a 50% chance. Not only that, but it's nowhere near as powerful as Cross Poison and 'specially not Poison-type's Special options.
... On that note, Poison Fang doesn't deserve t' get the shaft. It should be 65 BP, like with the other Fang moves. Then I think it'd be usable.

I was thinking that too, but I wouldn't say it's "unviable". 50% is a good chance, and 50 BP, while quite low, isn't nonexistent. Of course, if you don't get STAB (or coverage against bulky fairies, maybe), than it's outclassed by Toxic and/or another poison attack. Or if you're all out offense.
