yeah I got mine just before Christmas too, but I had to wait in line 4 hours to get it. About 10 people who showed up and waited didn't get one. When I walked out with mine they all had these aggravated looks on their faces lol.

Got my Wii yesturday! Honestly, the decision to commit myself to finding one of these things, combined w/ the excitment level of hunting was truely an amazing experience. Now I have a Nintendo Wii and I can kill zombies (my favorite type of gaming!!!!).

Congratz dude, they are really hard to find, hope you enjoy your Wii.

Game Stop was the way to go!!! I called... they held one for me.. i picked it up.... and now WII are a Happy Family!!!....
My daughter and husband played all last night! loved making the little "Mii" people!! so cool!! Also bought the Wii Play game with the extra remote... nice score!!
My daughter can't wait to have her friends over.. Order the chips!!

I finally got a Wii! I did a lot of calling around to all the Gamestops in the Houston area this week. A bunch of them told me they expected to get a shipment in this week. Yesterday, I called around again and 1 of them (Willowbrook mall location) had 24 and the other (Galleria location) had an undisclosed amount. The Galleria was closest, so I got mine from there. If you are in the Houston area, you are probably in luck this week.

Woo-Hoo!!! I got my Wii today!!!! I actually work at an FYE that sells game systems and we haven't had any Wii's since right after Thanksgiving. I had to get this one transferred in from another state!!!
I am also new to the forum and I am sure I will have lots of questions!! LOL I love my Wii. I got the Endless Ocean game that just came out and love it too!!! Wonderful!!! Maybe I am just 80's, but Nintendo rules!!! HAHA!!

My husband surprises me with a wii yesterday! We have been looking for one since November and no luck. He was near Best Buy and thought he would check in again and they had one left! It was so much fun. He also got me DDR. We played for five hours after hooking it up.
