ah yeaaah i need some serious help. in the WAY beginning... you have to fish for the cat in the town. For some reason, im trying everything, but i just cant catch a fish. I have the rod, im using different locations/techniques, the fish swim by, and do nothing. is there a trick or am i just dumb?

ok what you do is go where the cat is and stand on the dock, then cast ur line, when you see the bobber go all the way down pull the wiimote over ur shoulder and hold it there [it will say fish on] until the fish pops out, i think you uave to catch 2 for the cat

Let the water's current take you from Zora's Domain (or Zora's River) back to Lake Hylia.

Starfire: you are going the wrong way. Have you managed to get out into hyrule field yet? If so, work your way south / east (use your map so you know which way to go) back to faron woods.

Also did you get epona back?

If you haven't managed to exit kakariko villlage, tell us what has happened in terms of the quest and where you've been, what you've done in the last few days other than getting stuck.

Right then i have left kakariko village and am in hyrule field.But i cant get out of hyrule field,there is 3 exits on the map,the one goes to the bridge but when u get there there is 2 stones blocking the entrance.

the other exit is the castle but when u get there the entrance is blocked by 3 stones.the other exit is the entrance i came in on (kakariko village)

and yes i still have epona (i never lost epona)?

Im not going to let this game beat me i have managed fine upuntill kakariko village and seemed to have gone to pot from there. lol

ok another problem, i am now in the water temples first big room where there are 2 rooms branching off, there are also two things hanging from the roof that you have to pull and there is a bunch of stairs in between the things, my problem is i cant get jump and hang on to the things, every time i try i just roll down the stairs.

what do i do?

You need to jump onto the things where there aren't any stairs.
