I use the grenade launcher for fun, only on maps that it make sense to be using it. Only works 50% of the time for me anyway so not a good tactical weapon in my opinion. You just have to grin and bear it and adapt if you can. This game is ultimately for fun and the GL is available in a preset loadout to everyone so I don't see a big deal with those that use it on OPEN maps. You can usually find another game to join if someone is being obnoxious.

I use proxies only when other people start using them, especially hackers! The rest of the players need to adapt as best they can. The only time I will use my proxies at any time is if I'm sniping and I want to secure my position.

Is there anyone ( who isn't a noob ) that uses a grenader? Every time I get killed by a grenader I say "fing noob and their grenader".and if I get killed by a proxy I say "fing high levels and their proxies'. Anyone here share the same feeling?

Mikie-Duckie only uses proxies:
1) If someone else is using them.
2) To protect a sniping position.
3) If the game is being played in archives.
4) On any even numbered days of the month.
5) When the sun comes up.
6) If it is a full moon.
7) When playing hide n' seek.
8) When he is playing with Tampa. :lol:

Correction on 3) - I actually start a match in Archives without using proxies until I become a victim of one. Then the gloves come off. See item 1) :thumbsup:

Nowadays i barely use mine, be they proxy or remote trigger ones.
I'm having more fun with Hi-Cap and solely gun on gun action.

Lately I've been using hi-cap instead of mines and been getting frustrated by the "ammo subtraction glitch." Also, is it just me, or does the wii freeze at the "game won" screen everytime you use a sigmus with extended mag??? It happened to me in back to back games yesterday where I won the match with an ext mag sig9 and the wii froze on the "Game Won" screen. Very annoying. I'm thinking this extended mag stuff might be for the birds, except on the strata...maybe...

Tampa, you make it sound as if that's surprising.
I do use proxies from time to time but i've always hated the masteron and the noobtube.
And even the proxies i never used much, if only by courtesy that as soon as i reach 56 i usually start with my next alt.
With one profile i reached lvl 56 before i maxed out my masterton proficiency.

On the same note,
i played for about an hour today, and was annoyed the whole time.
There was barely a game to be found without spammers.
At one point i was in game with 5 or so lvl 56 all spamming the proxyton.
I played with the lasered strata+proxy but i got so annoyed that i switched to proxyton on their asses.
I smiled when i won 30-17.

As for the extended mag on the Sigmus.
That should not be the cause of it, cause i played lots with it like that.
(I prefer the sigmus9 over the terralite, so i always play with it till lvl 41.)

@Tampa, and Dela:
I've reset my lvl 18 SnipingKoopa account to lvl 1.
So as to start fresh with my last alt.
I'm thinking of only playing Conflict with it and getting an incredible bad W-L ratio with.
Especially since till now i've not been much of a conflict player.
I'm telling you this caus i think the both of you added my sniping alt when we where thinking of playing Sniping only games.
So if this alt is still on your list, be sure to delete it.

Just played with some "Le Duc" members, thu weren't playing bb properly, rather hiding the box and killing everyone that came near it tip the game ended.

You will rarely find a party of clan members or party of 56 players that are NOT farming when playing BB...... they do it for streaks and high kill counts. If they wanted to play the mode correctly the game would be over in no time. farming the box actually takes more skill than obtaining the objective. Although i do understand that it can be annoying if your on the receiving end.

This is so true. One of the reasons why I don't like this mode. I've been on the other end of farms and spawnlocks I tend not use these tactics.

Black box mode has gone to sh!t. You both are soooo right. Pity. I think it is a fun mode to actually do the objective on, until some dumbass blows up the box with the masty...lol

Just had another mediocre goldeneye hour.
As much as i love this game, you know something is off when you're forced to use the MineSweeper in every game.
If some1 told me a year ago, i was ever gonna actually use this gadget i never would have believed him.
Now it's become pracically indispensable.

I suppose it's only a matter of time before some Homebrew hacker figures out how to make "stealth mines" that don't show up on minesweeper :rolleyes5:
