Er... Sorry for wasting all your hard work, CK, but uhh... leveling up 6 pokemon from the start takes too long for my tastes. Ok if I cancel the challenge? I'll be sure not to waste the pokemon completely.

I have an idea for a challenge, though! It is...

The Mono-stat Challenge! Dun Dun DUUUUUUN!
Basically what this challenge is is that you can only use Pokemon that excel in one specific stat. For example, Chansey could be used in an HP team, or Sawk in an Attack team. A Pokemon can only qualify for a stat team if that specific stat is at LEAST 25 more than its other stats. For example, although Febas has base 80 speed, it could still qualify for a speed team because its other stats are so low. Pokemon how excel equally in 2 stats can qualify for either. For example, Shuckle could be used in either a Defense team or a Special Defense team.

D'ya like? Also, any rule suggestions?

I appreciate the effort for creatin' challenges 'n such, but that's just a limitation. Doesn't actually make a challenge harder unless there're very strict rules, and I ain't one for highly specific challenges like that.

... Which reminds me that I need t' get workin' on the N and Egg challenge rules. Completely forgot. ._.;

You got access to Wi-fi for your Diamond? If so, I can get ya eggs and as such you'll be able t' use non-Sinnoh native species in the Challenge.

I do, but I should be able to get most eggs myself. If I can't get any of them I'll ask you.

Edit: Oops. Just remembered I can't trade from gen V to gen IV so I will need you to supply the non Sinnoh pokemon eggs. Although you'll have to teach me how to do it.

Ah, didn't realize the only water stone ya can get doesn't come 'till ya can use Rock Climb. Yep, I can trade ya one.

I'll be sure my amigos give ya your last four Pokes by tomorrow. Possibly by the time ya finish that Speed Challenge.

So far I've got Kricketune, Starmie, Pigeot and Umbreon for my scramble/moveset. 2 more left.


SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

Started off with a Mudkip, just because that seemed like the best starter for this challenge. Saved the prof. Battled the rival. Usual stuff.I caught a Lotad, Ralts and Wingull as HM slaves. Got to the first gym and totally decimated them with water gun. Checked how long I was playing for. 38 minutes. Not bad.

Anyway, saved that guy with those papers, and got the pokenav and the letter for Stephan. Travelled to Dewford, beat the gym, 52 minutes, and caught my last HM slave, Aron. Delivered the letter to Stephan, travelled to Slateport. And saved at exactly 1 hour play time.

I've also got flash and cut.

Ralts, level 5 (previously flash slave until I realised Lotad could learn flash, now I need to release it to save time at PC's)
