Awesome!! I has my six pokemon now. I'll start the challenge once I finish my sapphire speed run.

SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

I can't remember much because I did it about 8 hours ago, but I'll do my best to remember.
I got to the third gym after a long time. Can't remember why it took me so long, but it did take me ages. Beat him without much trouble 'cause he was an electric type leader. He didn't do too well against my Marshtomp's mud shot (no-one did really). Beat him at 1:41. :(
The next gym was a bit faster, but not by much. I had a few unnecessary battles on the way to stop team aqua from doing their evil stuff, but I eventually did it and went to battle Flannery, the fire type gym leader. I figured this would be an easy battle seeing as any of my STAB moves would be super effective. I OHKOed the two Slugma and thought this was going really well. Then her Torkoal came out. And then, guess what happened!

I 2HKO it and get my 4th badge at 2:21. :(
I was right about this being an easy battle. As well as that, Marshtomp evolved!

Swampert level 36
Wingull level 5 (HM slave)
Aron level 11 (HM slave)
Lotad level 11 (HM slave)

SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

I got these next two badges quite quickly.
After I beat Flannery, I rode my bike back to Petalburg ASAP and battled my dad. It was an easy win and it only took me an extra 15 minutes. That takes my total time to 2:36.
After that, I surfed to the abandoned ship to get ice beam to teach my Swampert. I then started the long journey to Fortree city to battle the flying gym leader, Winona.
After getting the Devon Scope, I travelled back to Fortree to get rid if the Kecleon blocking my path to the gym.
I beat Winona easily, although getting through the gym was quite difficult. This brings my current play time to 3:15.

Swampert level 43
Wingull level 5 (HM slave)
Aron level 11 (HM slave)
Lombre level 14 (HM slave)

(I'll be doing the updates every 2 gyms)

ANOTHER SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

These next two gyms took just over an hour to beat.
The first gym, the psychic gym, was a little annoying to beat seeing as it was a double battle. (Double battles suck when you only have one strong pokemon. :() My Swampert used surf and it got both Solrock and Lunatone to about 50% HP. Another surf KO'ed Solrock but left Lunatone with a tiny amount of HP. On the next turn I used another surf but they used a hyper potion (sigh). Another surf KO'ed Lunatone and I got the badge at 3:52.
Here comes the part with Team Aqua (another sigh). Flew all over the place following Team Aqua until finally getting to their secret base thing. I got to the end easily, but getting out was slightly more difficult. I got lost and wasted a few minutes trying to get out until I decided to find a map. When I saw the map I realised that I could get out from where I am in less than a minute (seriously?). I then proceeded to do all sorts of random stuff on the way to catch Kyogre (who I threw in a box as soon as I got to a PC) and then proceeded to battle the last gym.
I was EQing everyone until I ran out of PP just before his last pokemon, Milotic (I was sighing a lot during these two gyms). So I decided to use surf instead because it would do more damage than an ice beam. It took three hits then I was done.
I then travelled to the entrance to victory road and saved. (I'm wondering if I should focus on training or on getting through ASAP and risk being under-leveled for the E4)

Swampert level 50
-Surf
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Protect

Challenge Update!

-Route 2-
After I hatched the eggs, I went Audino hunting for a while. (When i say a wile, I mean 2 hours.) I got all of my pokemon to around level 10, and went to battle Cheren.

-Route 3-
His Snivy was easily brought down by Rufflet's Wing attack, and Purrloin was defeated by Swablu, believe it or not. Bianca came running yelled about some kidnapped pokemon, and Cheren and I Chased after the Plasma Grunts.

-Wellspring Cave-
We absolutely curbstomped the Plasma Grunts at Wellspring cave. Smoochum is a beast! Bianca and the girl gave me their balls, and I went on to the rest of Route 3.

-Route 3-
I went ahead and fought the kid with the Blitzle, taking it down with Snover's Icy Wind. (Any good nicknames for it?) After Cheren showed me what Dark Grass was, I fought a trainer with a Woobat. Again, Snover took it down. A trainer with a Patrat and Purrloin was taken down by Swablu, using a Sing and Peck combo. (I really don't see why you hate this thing so much, SK; it's been pretty good in battle so far.) After this, I saved and quit. My cousins had just come through the door, and those 2 hours of grinding really exhausted me.

Oh shoot, are we supposed to keep posting about our challenge?

Whoops. A bit late on that. Nearly done with my Fighting monotype/Scramble challenge on White. Just tackled Brycen, piece of cake. About to take on Dragonspiral Tower.

My team:

Toxicroak: Lv. 37
-Poison Jab
-Sucker Punch
-Mud Bomb
-Revenge

Hitmonchan (was supposed to be a Hitmonlee) Lv. 34
-Fake Out
-Brick Break
-Vacuum Wave
-Bulldoze

Kirlia Lv. 34
-Calm Mind
-Confusion
-Charge Beam
-Magical Leaf

Scraggy: Lv. 35
-Hi Jump Kick
-Brick Break
-Payback
-Chip Away

Hariyama: Lv. 37
-Arm Thrust
-Fake Out
-Smelling Salt
-Bulldoze

Lucario: Lv. 34
-Force Palm
-Bone Rush
-Me First
-Shadow Claw

Pretty happy with my run overall. Hariyama is a pain in the rear, although his huge attack is nice, he just doesn't compare to the rest of the team. Kirlia is nice, but he's frail, and I've still got a little while before I can access a Dawn Stone to evolve him (although, he single-handedly took on Skyla with Charge Beam). Toxicroak with Dry Skin is unstoppable, and just walls most of the water types I come up against, and Lucario just destroys everything. Me First will come in handy against Iris. Scraggy with eviolite and Hitmonchan both hit pretty hard as well. The Shauntal and Caitlin in the E4 are already looking scary. Might have to rely on Lucario for both. We'll see.

Do you use your phone to post? I get the same problem of no paragraphs. If you go back and edit your post and put in the paragraphs it works and stays like that. That's what I always do.

LAST SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

I decided to use my repels through victory road but I made sure I battled all of the trainers as long as they didn't take me too far off the path. I got to the end and battled Wally. I OK'ed every member of his party.I got to the elite 4, healed and used whatever rare candies I had, just to make it easier for me. I needed all the help I could get.
I entered the first room to battle the first E4 with my Swampert and my HM slaves as heal fodder. The first E4 specialised in dark type pokemon. I beat him really easily.
The next E4 was a ghost type trainer. She was more difficult than the previous one especially when her Sableye used attract (Seriously? How could anyone be attracted to a Sableye?).
The next one was the most difficult of the E4. We were about the same level (I was a few levels higher) and I had no moves super effective to ice. To top it all off, I was running out of PP for my EQ. I had to KO her Walrein with surfs (f***ing hyper potions)
The next E4 was a dragon trainer with dual weaknesses to ice on all pokemon except one (finally, some luck). Ice beam OHKOed everyone. And I critical hit the first three. CRITICAL HITS, Y U NO COME WHEN. I ACTUALLY NEED YOU?
After the battle, I used my max elixir that I got in victory road, saved and prepared myself to battle Stephen.

At the start of the battle, I used a random dire hit that I had in my bag (this actually helped later on)
I used a few surfs to KO his Skarmory.
Next up was his Aggron. Easy OHKO with my EQ. Still no crits though.
Next was his Cradily. I used ice beam because at the time, I didn't realise EQ would do more damage. And I got a critical hit on the main threat to my team! Unfortunately it didn't OHKO and it was left with a tiny amount of HP. It used giga drain and KOed my Swampert. It gained enough health for no potions to be used. But not so much so that I couldn't KO it in the next hit. I switched into two of my heal fodder pokes to revive and restore HP to my Swampert. I then destroyed it with another ice beam.
Claydol and Armaldo fell to surf and earthquake, respectively.
This left him on his last pokemon, a Metagross. I 2HKO it with EQ, became champion of Hoenn and finished my speed run at 5 hours and 6 minutes. YAY!!!

I'll start on my next challenge when I learn how to collect the needed eggs for the challenge and then actually collect them (when they're ready)

Congratulations on the finished speed run bou, you've been added t' the Hall of Fame. Not a bad time at all, I'd say.

Jeez, i really need to get cracking on my challenge, huh.

That's my line, good sir.

A trainer with a Patrat and Purrloin was taken down by Swablu, using a Sing and Peck combo. (I really don't see why you hate this thing so much, SK; it's been pretty good in battle so far.)

Oh, you'll see... -_-

Oh shoot, are we supposed to keep posting about our challenge?

Whoops. A bit late on that.

Just a tad. Only if you want to do ya post updates. I'd think it'd be a tad tedious t' force anyone to post updates, even if they'd just be a measly paragraph.

If I can't cancel my challenge completely, I'm gonna do a different challenge alongside it. I would like to do a Monotype/Scramble/Moveset run on Pokemon Diamond. I'll be using the Ice type :3
