Challenge Update

Made my way to Route 35 and beat up a bunch of trainers... And also got a call from Joey and his damn mouse. blehhhhhhh

Managed to catch myself a Sudowoodo simply to have it... Though, Low Kick was almost a 3HKO. If my single great ball hadn't of worked, I'd of had to KO it. Traveled back to New Bark to get my Everstone from Elm, since my Togepi had hatched (did I mention that? probably not... ain't like it's important).

After traveling back through Violet City and past where I got Sudowoodo, fought some Clefables 'n Wigglytuffs who spammed Sing like no tomorrow. Only one hit, but when I ended up battling a Drowzee with Dream Eater, I was unhappy to say the least.

Upon entering Ecruteak and savoring the epic music for just a moment, made my way to the Dance Theater and pwnt a retarded Rocket. Due to laziness, I decided to not explore the Burned Tower and then fight Morty just yet... and saved. I'll get to it tomorrow. >_>;

Made my way to beat the first and second gym then went to Ilex forest and learned headbutt on a sentret so i could get heracross on route 33.
Team:
Geodude lvl 14
Heracross lvl 4(didn't train it at all)

I will be taking a break until next Friday because of having so much to due for school.

any one with black or white right now can get a Darkraii from a event.

Not much done on my challenge lately, got A new puppy and it along with other things are taking my time atm. From my last update I got my team up around 28-29 level range and saved right in front of Morty. Until next time lol.

The puppy's name will be Lillipup. You have no choice in this matter, my friend.

Challenge Update

I did some damage calculations and, by god was I both shocked and happy. Shocked that my Rhyhorn's Rock Slide won't OHKO an EV-less, lower level Gengar... And happy I didn't go ahead and fight Morty prior to my last save, since Shadow Ball cleanly 2HKOs. Combined with the fact I'm likely to take a Curse prior to Gengar gettin' sent out, means that my challenge would of ended early.

So instead of losing miserably to that damned ghost, I went off towards Olivine and through the Olivine Lighthouse and fought every trainer possible to level grind. I shortly returned to Ecruteak to take on Morty afterwards.

His Pokes prior to Gengar did little to stop me; Rock Slide OHKO'd, and I didn't miss once. His Ghastly got a lucky paralyze on the Lick, and his first Haunter did a pointless Mean Look. Strangely, he decided to send out Gengar before his second Haunter. Even more strangely, he did Sucker Punch instead of Shadow Ball, doing laughable damage and ensuring only the most ridiculous amount of hax could stop me now, as Rock Slide is an OHKO after the level grinding.

His last Haunter easily falls as it uses curse in all due futility. Rhyhorn comes out on top once more. Fog Badge get!

Traveled back to Olivine, crossed the sea (and level grinded against all the trainers, of course! Rhyhorn still ain't that over-leveled), and survived a crit from a Krabby's Bubblebeam. Had a heart attack when I saw Rhyhorn's 100% health plummeting by 70%... >_>;

Saved in front of Chuck's gym. Rhyhorn's rock-hard body is ready. Don't think I ever did a full summary for Rhyhorn, so here it is for once.

Rhyhorn @ Everstone: lv. 37

Nature: Adamant
Ability: Rock Head

Moveset:

Rock Slide
Take Down (**** you Rock Blast, thought ya had 90% accuracy, not 80%...)
Earthquake
Stomp

Guess who!

I wanna do a Scramble/Single run on pokemon "Leaf Green" and I want to start it tomorrow, so whose willing to choose my poison?

¬_____¬

You catch it only a short period after your first badge for god's sake, so no. :p

Damn it CK! No matter...I still accept your challenge and I promise to complete, I really do!

Currently in Route 4 where I can catch Sandshrew and the real challenge begins! Before hand however I just destroyed everything by abusing STAB and Water gun with my Wartortle. Once I catch a Sandshrew the run truly begins! Brock practically stood no chance, both his Geodude and Onix was one hitted by Water gun, Mt. Moon fell quickly aswell. Now my hunt for a Sandshrew begins!

Update: Ended up accidentally clo- I mean turning the game off without saving so I had to catch a new Sandshrew and blah blah I messed up so heres the updated stuff(after I save real quick this time)

Name: CK:ihih:
Nature: Docile
Ability: Sand Veil

Update 2: Just defeated Rival Sho, Sandslashes claws were too sharp for all 4 of his pokemon. I grinded in the wild until Sandshrew evolved and decided I was now ready. Now tackling route 24, hoping to tear it apart.

Gary Mother****ing [STRIKE]Oak![/STRIKE] Sho... ? Well, it makes sense if I absolutely destroyed 'em in battle. ;)

Nobody but you will get what I'm sayin' in the thread, Fraz... ;_;

Challenge Update

Looked up to find Chuck's Poliwrath has Surf; yeah, I ain't touchin' that. An untimely Hypnosis - Focus Punch combo would absolutely ruin Rhyhorn too. So I stomped all the gym trainers and ignored him for the time being, choosing to surf back towards Olivine and fight Jasmine instead. Earthquake dispatched her two Magnemite easily, and was just barely a 2HKO on Steelix after it ate it's berry. Iron Tail wouldn't of OHKO'd either way, and it even missed on it's first use. Mineral Badge get!

Went off to Mahogany and ended up skippin' Mt. Mortar, which I'm probably going to go back so I can train inside before fighting Pryce. He'll be far more dangerous than Chuck... Made my way through every trainer on the way to the Lake of Rage, and thanks to repels (I'm officially allowing them in no-item challenges... It's just ****in' annoying without 'em. Going back and forth over the sea between Olivine 'n Cianwood left me not amused), Gyarados was the first Poke to fight at the lake. I know for a fact it doesn't have any Water moves, so I wasn't at all worried about the rain.

After it's Intimidate, Rock Slide left it just on a red sliver to my surprise, so I immediately started chucking great balls at it. Dragon rage was the worst it could do, and it was a 3HKO just barely, so I had to be quick. Luckily, the third ball caught it. It only used Dragon Rage once too, so there wasn't any risk in that third toss. Intimidate will definitely come in handy as life-saving fodder, one day... No doubt. Made my way back to Mahogany, and saved. My Level 40 Rhyhorn is doin' admirably.

Don't worry I know, I know.
I miss him QQ

Anyway! Destroyed Route 24 and prepared to fight Misty, her lackeys were no match for Sandslash's newly acquired Slash as they all fell in one fell swoop. Misty was the first real challenge and the fight here now made me appreciate NOT picking the no item run. Her Staryu was demolished quickly with use of dig. (I took out the Team Rocket thief before hand and used the gained TM). Her Starmie however was difficult, it was faster and it could land first hit Water Pulse, if I never had a meatshield I would've been in trouble! So after landing a dig and tanking a harsh Water Pulse I swapped out and healed. After the meat shield was KO'd and Sandslash tanked another Water pulse it was time to go understand and say our goodbye's to Misty's Starmie and claim the 2nd gym badge of Kanto.

After a little interlude in the underground tunnel and a little 5 minute training session in the route before I headed into Vermilion city. I quickly headed to S.S. Anne, wiped the floor with everyone and then besting Sho again with ease as Sandslash was about level 30, I had acquired cut. Teach that to Paras who can be my "woodcutter" or whatever. After the S.S. had departed when I left I instantly made my way to the 3rd gym. After one every single trainer pokemon in the gym, the hunt for the cursed switches begin, 3rd time lucky.

Lt. Sarge there is no story, Slash practically instant killed everything he had except Raichu and there was no competition with a strong Ground type pokemon in the arena. Went to the Poke centre, healed and called it a night.

Update: After tanning Surge I got the Bike Voucher for no real reason, I don't use bikes. Also got the old rod and caught a Magikarp for the Ten Caught pokemon towards attaining Flash. Went through Diglett tunnel back to Route 2, got Flash, taught it to a Clefairy I caught for the 10 pokedex catches and headed back. Rock Tunnel wasn't very difficulty, I was close to having issues with PP but I managed to get through no problem. Taught Sandslash Rock Slide over swift, will be needing a good Rock type move and this is it for where I am in the game. Healed at a poke centre (its the UK spelling, dont whine about it ok? We cool?) and went to the Pokemon Tower to fight rival Sho.

Everything was one shotted except Gyarados and Ivysaur, Dig took Ivysaur to a small pinch of health and ended up getting a Razor leaf in on Sandslash for exactly 50% of his health. Slash quickly finished the job. Gyarados didn't put up much a fight, used Rock Slide but not enough damage for it to be a one hit. Ended up taking like 10 damage from Trash and just finished the job with another Slash. Going to do a little bit of grinding for the 4th Gym leader, can't afford to get hit off a super effective move so i'll be needing the One hit KO Slashes.

Challenge Update

Grabbin' my new useless evolution of a Magikarp from the box (should'a just left it, really), made my way off to the Rocket hideout just north of Mahogany's center. Crushed all the Rockets responding to the security alarms, crushed every other rocket, got me some passwords and headed off to take out Petrel. He obviously didn't stand a chance; and nor did Ariana.

Turns out Pryce's team wasn't as deadly as I thought (Piloswine was only lv. 34, and his other Pokes didn't have Water moves), so I went ahead and stomped his gym trainers. He wasn't much bigger of a deal: Seel was OHKO'd, as was Dewgong. Piloswine just barely took an Earthquake, but his countering Blizzard missed; not that it'd KO Rhyhorn anyways. One more EQ, and the match is done. Glacier badge get!

Hastily traversed back to Cianwood to finally take on Chuck. Both his Primeape and Poliwrath ate an Earthquake and were done with; Poliwrath was just too low a level in comparison. Storm badge get! With Fly in hand and now taught to my Pidgey, I'm ready to go hand some more Rockets their asses. But that's for the next update; healed up 'n saved. Rhyhorn is currently lv. 44.
