Your Combined Challenge Hall of Fame entry has been added, Lucktown. Sorry 'bout that there delay.

Jordan mah boi, truth be told I'm pretty sure ya won't be able t' beat this Challenge all because it's a No Item. Not with a level up moveset like that. You'd have t' be level 100 to actually beat Shauntal.

... Speakin' of, an incredibly important new rule has been added to the No Item Challenge ruleset. A sorely overlooked detail on my part, indeed.

ARCEUS FTW!!!!!!!!! Base 720 in EACH STAT!!!!!

I'm an Arceus fan, ya ****in' fool. I'm beginnin' to suspect ya don't know what trolling is lol. Google, my friend.

we'll see how I will do against Bruno.

Cloyster > Physical attackers.

I just defeated my friend (he's new to Pokemon) with a Magikarp :D Kyogre -> switch to a Pokemon with Bellydrum and Batton Pass (to lazy to look up the english name) and then the Magikarp with Focus Sash destroyed his whole team with Flail :D Waited so long to test that.

Once I get my shiny 'Karp (... just realized I forgot t' start breed for it), I have no doubt in my mind I'll do the very same. Eventually.

Pokemon Soul Silver Monotype Ice Challenge, Update #5
On my way to Blackthorn City I caught Delibird, Jinx and Swinub. When I was on the way to Clair I lost Shellder to a Dratini that got a critical on its second Dragon Rush -.-'. Too bad that I didn't really get to use it yet... When I fought Clair I noticed that I wasn't that overlevelt (forgot about the game suddenly getting harder) so I decided to start fighting every trainer again (that didn't last long :p). Gyrados and the Dragonairs were easy with Thunder and Icebeam, but I had to use Perish Song on Kingdra. I almost lost my Lapras because I underestimated her. I got my badge in the dragon's den.

Pokemon

Dewgon lvl38 (Rash) with Thick Fat
-Headbutt
-Aqua Ring
-Surf
-Sheer Cold

Lapras lvl38 (Quirky) with Shell Armor
-Perish Song

Swinup lvl24 (Adamant) with Oblivious

-Ice Punch
-Mean Look

Delibird lvl22 (Lax) with Vital Spirit
-Presen
-Fly

Ya seriously didn't breed any'a those Ice Path Pokes? Delibird 'specially would've appreciated it, since he'd only ever be useful at the beginnin' of the game (if Present is your idea of useful)...

Also, why's Shellder crossed off? dat aint no nuzlocke

I'll drop the No Item part then. Could I still get a new moveset 'cause like you said, Belly Drum is suicide in a Nuzlocke

I was fine with just Seel for the beginning and too lazy to do more :D It also will be my Pokemon to switch to when I need to heal the others. I decided to make it harder for me by adding some sort of Nuzlocke challenge where I release the Pokemon when they faint (I mentioned that a few updates ago). Just Monotype seemed a little bit too easy after I just had a combined challenge with monotype.
I also decided to change the challenge a bit to be like a Nuzlocke. I will release my Pokemon when they faint, but I won't just catch the first Pokemon on each Route.
I won't recatch any of the Pokemon I released of course

Ah, right. Forgot 'bout that.

Quite true. None of the Challenges are particularly difficult, even a No Item isn't all-that hard when ya don't have a **** team. Non-Combined Challenges are essentially the beginners' level, with No Item essentially the graduation test for gettin' into the more serious Combined Challenges. One would consider the Combined Nuzlocke Challenges required t' become a Champion as the final test.

I'll drop the No Item part then. Could I still get a new moveset 'cause like you said, Belly Drum is suicide in a Nuzlocke

- Return
- Odor Sleuth
- Seed Bomb (Tutor)
- Hone Claws (TM, Victory Road)

This moveset is derived from the one I'd use myself in this Challenge: Return/Shadow Claw/Surf/Work Up. The moveset is changed for extra Challenge obviously. The specific reasoning behind each change is as follows.

Odor Sleuth is the gimmick as opposed t' Belly Drum, which also replaces Shadow Claw as a less efficient way t' deal with Ghosts. Removing an attack move also means you've less PP to throw 'round, so Ethers will almost assuredly be needed. Use that Dowsing Machine like no tomorrow.

Seed Bomb and Hone Claws replacin' Surf and Work Up is a change meant t' be viewed as a pair. Seed Bomb was added over Surf since the latter is better suited to handling Rock-types. Work Up's Sp.A increase is therefore useless, constituting a more useful move, albeit Hone Claws' accuracy increasing is rather redundant. However, Hone Claws does have a hidden blessing: ya don't get it 'til the end-game, leaving you one moveslot t' be creative with 'til then. Be it a coverage move or simply Work Up, use this moveslot wisely.

Good luck bro. I hope ya have fun with this moveset and, obviously, the Challenge itself. May the hax be merciful and your skill bring ya victory.

... I'd put a quote here showin' how the OP says t' give your suggestions for both new Challenges and rules, but it seems I took that bit out for some reason. lolderp

But yeah, absolutely. If ya've any ideas, shoot.

I'm watching a German Let's Player who added this to some of his challenges and remembered that when I wasn't training my Pokemon for while.
Your Pokemon all together are only allowed to have the same level combined as the Gym Leader's/Rival's/Pokemon League Member's Pokemon all combined. Your highest level Pokemon is only allowed to be as high as his/her highest level Pokemon.
That alone isn't hard, but it can make combined challenges much harder, because you can't just overlevel your Pokemon to defeat a strong trainer and you are forced to use more strategy.

A fine suggestion indeed, but I'm worried as t' how I could implement it as a Challenge. Obviously this Youtuber must've done some checkin' up on all the trainers' Pokes' levels and listed all'a it down as a constant reminder t' not overlevel. It requires either a large amount of forethought for the Challenger; that's definitely not an option; or a rather massive, properly organized list/chart/somethin' or other detailing every version's level limits. I'm definitely willin' to do that (small) amount of work for what could be a great new Challenge... at the same time though, I'm wary of any issues or complications that could come up 'n makes things a pain for the Challenger. This sort'a Challenge obviously has many different ways t' be ****ed up mid-way through.

Either way, once I finish with the N and Baby Challenge Rulesets (yes, I completely forgot 'bout 'em again... ... ...), I certainly will give a crack at makin' this Challenge a thing though.

Pokemon Soulsilver Monotype Ice Challnge, Update #6
After a defeating some left over trainers and exlporing Mount Mortar I challenged the Kimono Girls. I started with Lapras. Umbreon was easy thanks to getting it frozen by Icebeam. I used Perish Song for Espeon by accident which actually turned out to be good, because it would have fainted after the third Psychic attack and thanks to Perish Song I only had to take one hit on Dewgong after I tried to tank the attack with Swinup which just survived with 9hp. For Jolteon I switched to Swinup. Swinup lvl 29 with 9 hp vs Jolteon lvl 38  (she trolled herself but close enough :D)It took a long time to win because she started with Double Team to the max (as usual -.-'), but because she didn't want to use Thunderbolt and Thunder wave because it won't have any effect she wasted her Last Resort pp, so I couldn't loose the fight unless I had to use struggle. The rest was no big deal, but I used Sheer Cold on Dewgong for Vaporeon, because Lapras probably would have fainted. Then I defeated the Lugia.

Pokemon

Dewgon lvl39 (Rash) with Thick Fat
-Waterfall
-Aqua Ring
-Surf
-Sheer Cold

Lapras lvl39 (Quirky) with Shell Armor
-Perish Song
-Ice Beam
-Whirlpool
-Thunder

Swinup lvl30 (Adamant) with Oblivious
-Ice Shard
-Mud-Slap
-Endure
-Mud Bomb

Jynx lvl22 (Adamant) with Forewarn
-Blizzard
-Shadow Ball
-Ice Punch
-Focus Blast

Delibird lvl22 (Lax) with Vital Spirit
-Presen
-Fly

When you worry about the Information, I could make a word document about that when I find some time. Looking up all the information shouldn't be hard thanks to all the websites about Pokemon. When you have problems because you overlevelt your solo or scrambled Pokemon you could make an exception and allow to raise a second Pokemon from the same family just for this fight or something like that.

aaagggghhh double post

Aye, information ain't at all a problem. Between Bulbapedia and Serebii as a double check I'm not at a loss for info sources.

I need somethin' more user-friendly. Somethin' like how a wiki's table of contents has links which auto-scroll ya down to the proper topic... or is that a thing in Word?

Can Word documents be placed somewhere on the interwebz and viewable without needin' to be downloaded?

Hmm I'm not that good at that kind of stuff, but wouln't it be possible to post a list for each generation somewhere in this forum and just use a quote to link you to the list? Or would this take too much room?

Nor am I, my friend... simply 'cause I've no experience with such things. I'll figure that junk out no problem though, all in due time.

It's more a matter of it lookin' bad/sorely unprofessional. I'd prefer if these links didn't load a new page every time/were just a million spoilers lined up.
