Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, FINALE
From Brock I moved on to the Cinnabar Island gym. The Rapidash seemed pretty tricky, but I won it with my last hope, Ledian. While I used dig he was stupid enough to use Bounce so I got 3 free hits and my next Gymbadge. From there I went to the Grass gym which wasn't a problem for obvious reasons. The Fuchsia City gym was pretty easy, too with Xatu and a little help of Crobat. Gary/Blue was a hard fight and it reminded me of my battle with Lance in my first challenge. I fought Exeggutor with Butterfree and its Sleep Powder/Dreameater combo, but after he used a Full Restore it got defeated and I had to finish it with Crobat. For Rhydon I left it in and used Screech, so that Honchkrow can defeat it with a Superpower critical hit(these things are reliable ). Pidgeot managed to defeat Honchkrow after a short fight so I used my Pidgeot and somehow won (9lvl difference and it worked???) I poisoned his and was able to use one Return before Pidgeot was defeated. I finnished it with Xatu and then set Reflect for Gyrados. It defeated it after 2 rounds and I switched to Honchkrow. It was trying to use a few Dragon Dances, but a critical after my 5th Nightslash and his Full Restore I defeated it without loosingmore health on Honchkrow. His Arcanine easily defeated Honchkrow with a critical, so I used Ledian to revive it. I played the revive game and it weakened itself with Flare Blitz. When it started to use use Superspeed Honchkrow survived and attack so I could revive 2 Pokemon and the could use Crobat's turn to weaken it with Screech and Butterfree's to revive Honchkrow. Honchkrow either survives a Super Speed or outspeeds Arcanine thanks to the speed ev training(now I'm happy that all the Pokemon in front of Victory Road give you more speed), so I could use Nightslash to finnish its remaining HP( it already was in the orange section because of the Flare Blitzes ) I probably could have made it without the screech, but I wanted to be on the safe side. So this challenge ends with less revives used than the last one, but with having to grind exp and 3 white outs.
Final Team: (sorted by Importance)
Crobat lvl53 (Bashful) with Inner Focus and Poison Barb Honchkrow lvl57 (Careful) with Lucky Bird and Shell Bell
-Cross Poison* -Wing Attack*
-Screech* -Superpower*
-Fly* -Nightslash*
-Bite* -Swagger
Xatu lvl51 (Quirky) with Early Bird and ................. Butterfree lvl52 (Docile) with Compound Eyes and ...........
-Psychic* -Dreameater*
-Hyperbeam* -Bug Buzz*
-Night Shade* -Shadow Ball*
-Reflect* -Sleep Powder*
Pidgeot lvl51 (Sassy) with Tangled Feet and Soothe Bell
-Roost*
-U-Turn*
-Toxic*
-Return*
Ledian lvl54 (Brave) with Swarm and............
-Dig*
-Bug Buzz*
-Focus Blast*
-Light Screen*
Crobat and Honchkrow(I loved the crits ) solved every problem in which I could have had problems with a bit of luck and a lot of power.
Butterfree was useful for enemies of which I couldn't have taken a hit and Xatu was good for a slow aproach due to its defensive attack and a strong finisher.
Pidgeot was a reliable pokemon to stall and slowly tear them down, but didn't have a lot of type advantages.
Ledian is last, because it has relatively low stats even with the good move set most attacks just weren't enough.
Edit: Sorry for the messed up formation in the pokemon part, but I am too lazy to find a solution
