B2SSMN UPDATE

This update is short because of Hugh's Samurott (which I now hate. A lot)
I beat the next 3 gyms without too much difficulty. Although Skyla's Skarmory was a pain. I got through Reversal Mountain and battled Hugh. I beat his Unfeasant easily. He then brought in his Samurott. Seed Bomb did just under half and he retaliated with Revenge, which did 2/3 of my health. It was at this point I realised I was screwed. I used Seed Bomb again, hoping for some good luck, AND SAMUROTT LIVED WITH 1 HP!!!
Linoone died.

R.I.P. Linoone. You will be missed. I will get revenge!

Looks like Linoone could'a used those attack EVs... =/

Revenge's power doesn't double if ya don't use a damaging move, so usin' a healing item > X-attack > healing item maybe could've got ya that win. X-items are top tier when revives don't exist, so be sure t' keep some on hand the moment you can purchase/dowse some in a Nuzlocke.

Yeah I know. Unfortunately I can only get one X Attack at the point. And I used it against Skyla's Skarmory, which resists all of my moves (Return is a 5HKO after the boost).
I think I'll teach Work Up instead of Dig this time

The Gligarman, Update#4
After raising Gligar by 2 levels I tried the gym again. I used Acrobatic and needed 2 hits for his first 2 Pokemon. Unfortunately Crunch and Crush Claw lowered my defense, so I had to heal. I also used a Dire Hit when I was fighting Excadrill and then I was able to defeat it with a critical and a normal attack. The tournament was easy. I one hitted all the Pokemon except the 2 steel types of Colress, which took 2 hits. Same goes for the Plasma Ship.

NoMan:( level 38
Naughty Nature
Sand Veil
Attacks:
-Fury Cutter
-Faint Attack
-Slash
-Acrobatics

These are getting short in Black 2

Pokemon Soulsilver Monotype Ice Challnge, Update #6
The way to the Victory Road and the Victory Road were no problem, but the rival's Meganium was. He started with Sneasel, which survived 1 Thunder by Lapras. I switched to Dewgong, because he will switch out, and if not Dewgong could easily take a hit. He switched to Magneton, which I defeated with 1 Surf. When he sent in Meganium my second Sheer Cold hit him, so he luckily only was able to set up a reflect before Meganium fainted. For Haunter, Golbat, and Kadabra I just used Icebeam with Lapras. Dewging finished Sneasel. Then I trained my Pokemon to a decent level, which is why this update took so long

Pokemon at current training state (couldn't beat the league with 2x lvl40 and 3x lvl20)

Dewgon lvl45 (Rash) with Thick Fat
-Waterfall (will get replaced by Ice Beam for E4)
-Aqua Ring
-Surf
-Sheer Cold

Lapras lvl45 (Quirky) with Shell Armor
-Perish Song
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Thunder

Mamoswine lvl45 (Adamant) with Oblivious
-Ice Shard
-Take Down
-Ancient Power (not sure what it will be)
-Earthquake

Jynx lvl45 (Adamant) with Forewarn
-Blizzard
-Shadow Ball
-Flash
-Focus Blast

Delibird (nobody cares)

[STRIKE]Shellder[/STRIKE]

I have this "release Pokemon when they faint" rule as an unofficial part of my challenge, but I don't want to restart it because of that. I will save once before the league and if I loose all my Pokemon in there I will start from this safe state. Other than that I will continue the challenge normaly, even if I defeat Lance with only 1 Pokemon left and I won't revive any fainted Pokemon in there. Since this could take a few tries the next update could take a while...

Stopped first try cause Thunder didn't hit 4 times! on the second Xatu and lost Lapras to Psychic.
Second try:(forgot to use berries :/) Hitmonlee defeated Dewgong and Jynx. Machamp got Mamoswine with a crit. Delibird lost to Umbreo when I wanted to cure confusion and Peirsh Song. I managed to defeat the last of the E4 with just Lapras after a hard double team fight with Umbreon. I buffed Lapras with everything I had (rare candy, vitamines),gave it Never Melt Ice, and healed it with Hyper Potion and Elixir and then just went for it.

Gyrados got taken out with one Thunder without me taking damage. Aerodactyl's Rock Slide made me flinch and delt more than half of Lapras' health dmg, so I had to stall with Hyper Potions until it misses (so happy for Lapras' protection against criticals). It then was taken out by 1 Ice Beam His next Dragonite was faster and paralyzed me, but then got defeated with an Ice Beam. His second Dragonite got defeated by Ice Beam after I got hit by it. For his last Dragonite (Outrage) I used Full Restore to get rid of the paralyze, but Outrage delt more than half of my health, so I stalled until it hit itself in confusion. That wasn't necessary, because it was a one hit. Charizard survived the Surf, but couldn't deal much dmg with Shadow Claw. Surf got a critical hit after he healed Charizard. I am the champion :) I didn't record any of the other fights, because I didn't think I could make it on my second try. So I managed to become the champ and only lost once, because I had very bad luck while gambling. (should have just used Ice Beam for that Xatu -.-')

Pokemon

Lapras lvl 51 (Quirky) with Shell Armor and Never Melt Ice
-Perish Song
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Surf

[STRIKE]Shellder
Dewgong
Mamoswine
Jynx
Delibird[/STRIKE]

Pokemon Soulsilver Monotype Ice Chalelnge, Update #7
I took the boat to Kanto and skipped the electric gym for now. I teached Lapras Psychic for Perish Song and challenged Sabrina. I got pretty lucky with 2 criticals and froze her Pokemon twice, but she got 2 special defens drops, so I had to use a Hyper Potion for her last Pokemon. From there evry fight was pretty easy. By using super effective attacks when possible, if I had no good attack I used Ice Beam, and if that was not very effective I used Surf. By just following these rules I got 1 or 2 hits. I had to use 1 Hyper Potion for Misty and the rest was no problem. The electric gym was annoying with Double Team and the paralyce. I used a Full Restore after 3 Pokemon. Electabuzz was very bulky with Light Screen and could have taken me out with 3 Low Kicks. I had to use 3 Hyperpotions so that I won't loose. Magneton was a 2 hit again. I still can catch Spheal in the Safari Zone. I got a Focus Sash from Mother, so I can use Spheals' turn to heal Lapras.

Lapras lvl 60 (Quirky) with Shell Armor and Never Melt Ice
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Surf

Spheal with Focus Sash

[STRIKE]Shellder
Dewgong
Mamoswine
Jynx
Delibird[/STRIKE]

You can make a lot of progress with nothing better to do at school :p

Pokemon Monotype Ice Challenge, Finale
Exeggutor was defeated with one Icebeam. The Machamp confused me with Dynamic Punch, so I switched to Spheal to heal Lapras. The second Psychic took Machamp out. Rhydon lost to the first Surf. Arcanine was faster than Lapras, so it delt a little bit less than half hp dmg with Flareblitz. It survived with only a few hp so I used Surf over and over again until he ran out of Full Restores. Pidgeot also was slower than Lapras (???) and fainted after the first Ice Beam. Luckily Thunder on Gyrados hit, so I finished the final fight with only on Hyper Potion, but I lost Spheal.

I feel lonely here after updating my challenge 5 times without somebody else posting in here :(

I would be doin' my Challenges, but I'm currently too focused on RDR 'n AC multiplayer.

... Regardless of my laziness, ya've been added t' the Hall of Fame once more bro. Didn't forget this time. >_>;

I now started a Soul Silver Speedrun with Totodile for my next challenge and I have my first badge at 0:31. I didn't find anything that shows me the time of other speedrunners, so can anybody tell me if this is a good time or not?

Wow this guy was fast... I'd be happy when I get through the game in about 8-10 hours and he did it up to Red in 4:15... Thanks for the video
