Pokemon Heart Gold Rampardos Single Challenge: Update 1

Today, I started with the intro etc. After selecting our starter Pokemon, Chikorita, (For obvious reasons...) We make our way to Cherrygrove city and receive the Running Shoes! :). We headed north, running into the Guide Gent for the 2nd time and he loads the Map. We come across a house on Route 30, get the Apricorn Box, and head to Mr. Pokemon's house. At Mr. Pokemon's house, he greets us kindly and begins to talk about the Mystery Egg. Prof. Oak walks over to us and begins talking as well as complementing Prof. Elm. Outside, we get an urgent call from Prof. Elm, claiming that one of the Starter Pokemon was stolen! :eeks:. We rush down to Cherrygrove, and head East, coming across... THE GINGER. He starts to blab about how weak we are and acts so full of himself (Meanwhile, Elm is still waiting...). After an easy battle, he gets his ass handed to him and is not happy. We somehow get a peek at his Trainer Card and find out his real name (Ginger) and head back to Elm's Lab. Fortunately, there's a police officer on the scene, who claims we stole the Pokemon! (And Elm says nothing...). Lyra interrupts and makes a statement as an eyewitness, of a red-haired individual looking into Elm's Lab! The officer asks us for this individual's name: Ginger... Suprised? After this, we make our way to Route 29 and encounter Lyra, who shows us a quick demonstration of catching Pokemon. Afterwards, we catch a Pidgey, and trade it for a certain egg, containing...........................................................

CRANIDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been away for my long week end so I didn't have any progress on my challenge, but I got Black 2. I would like to do challenges on this one too, but I don't have a game where I can trade my team to ( would suck because it will have my first event pokemon :/ ) So I wanted to ask if anybody would keep my team during the challenge until I can take it back.

I can hold your team for ya, bro. Been doin' such things for my amigos since long before the Challenge Thread was made... ya could say I was once Wiichat's personal Pokestorage 'n cloner. VM me with your FC 'n all that.

Pokemon Heart Gold Rampardos Single Challenge: Update 2

After heading through Route 30/31 and beating Wild Pokemon & Trainers, we finallly arrive in Violet City! Before that, Lyra gives us the VS. Recorder to record Wifi Battles.
We start by healing Cranidos at the Pokemon Center, and head to the Gym, only to find out that it's empty, because we need to beat the Sprout Tower to progress, so that's what we do. In Sprout Tower, we go from floor to floor defeating Sages with Bellsprouts and Hoothoots, and now it's time to face the Elder.
But first... It's... THE GINGER! Elder tells him that his Pokemon are not tools of war, indicating he isn't properly raising them, but he ignores it and notices us. He says that the Elder was nothing compared to him (I wander if he's got a Quilava...). Now, it's our turn to defeat the Elder to prove ourselves.
He opens up the battle with a Bellsprout, which Cranidos (Pachycephalosaurus) takes out with ease, despite the type advantage (Lucky me! :D It's got Adamant Nature! :):) Attack+ - Sp. Attack-). Next up: Hoothoot, his strongest pokemon, is also taken out with ease. After proving Cranidos' potential, Elder gives us TM70: Flash, as a reward for winning.
Back at the Gym, the trainers are actually there! So we defeat each and every one of them, run back to the Pokemon Center (PP Saving) and return to deal with the Gym Leader: Falkner!
Falkner starts the battle with Pidgey, and we start with Cranidos, of course. Cranidos uses Focus Energy, while Pidgey starts with Sand Attack; NOT good. Cranidos uses Headbutt until Pidgey easily faints, and now, it's time for his "Main" Pokemon, Pidgeotto! Fortunately, we've still got the FE effects on our side, so we're in luck. Hammer Arm has a higher Base Power than Headbutt, but at the cost of lowered Speed; Very crucial.
Therefore, I need to time exactly when I'm gonna use Hammer Arm. The battle goes all according to plan, with Pidgeotto being defeated with Hammer Arm, but the lowered Speed won't matter, now that the battle's over .
After, Falkner makes his final speech, and we get the Zephyr Badge! :D:D

Cranidos:
Headbutt
Focus Energy

Hammer Arm
Earthquake

Adamant Nature

[strike]FINAL[/strike] SAPPHIRE MOVESET UPDATE

I'm doing this update differently to my other updates. I'm going to edit this post as I beat each of the Elite Four and then again once I beat Steven

Sydney
Sydney wasn't much of a problem. I used my 6 Rare Candies to get everyone except Ninjask to level 46. I got Ninjask to level 45 (so he could learn Baton Pass).
I led with Ninjask and Swords Danced twice. I then Baton Passed my +3 attack (only +3 because of Mightyena's Intimidate) and +2 speed (because of Speed Boost) to Aggron who KOed Mightyena. Sydney brought in Cacturne in. I decided to see how much a Rock Tomb would do. It did enough for me to stay in and kill it off with another one. He then brought in Sharpedo so I switched out into Ninjask again. I used Swords dance and he used Swagger, bringing me to +4 Attack. I used a Persim berry to get rid of confusion. I KOed the rest of his team with a few Aerial Aces

Phoebe
[strike]Well, it turns out I'm not strong enough to beat Phoebe at my current levels. So I'm going to do more level grinding.[/strike]
I guess I was wrong. I'm not sure how, but I managed to beat Phoebe.

Glacia
I beat Glacia with a combination of mainly Gardevoir's Thunderbolt and Aggron's Rock Tomb. Swampert also did his bit by KOing the second Glalie.

Drake
Drake was, by far, the easiest of the Elite Four. 4 of his 5 pokemon have a 4x weakness to Swampert's Ice Beam. Even though Swampert was so underlevelled, he managed to KO every single one of Drake's dragons without difficulty.

And as I expected, I had no chance of beating Steven. I'm going to go and do some more level grinding (sigh)

Pokemon Heart Gold Rampardos Single Challenge: Update 3

After our Gym Battle, Prof. Elm calls us and states that he wants us to carry the Mystery Egg! After receiving it, we run into a Kimmono Girl for the first time. Now that it's time to head out, we take a quick visit West of Violet and get HM06: Rock Smash. Afterwards, we head South to Route 32, on our way to Union Cave with our buddy Cranidos. Defeating all of the trainers on Route 32 (Except that dumbass Magikarp Fisherman) was a piece of cake, so we stop at the Pokemon Center and receive the Old Rod from a stranger Fisherman, and heal the Pachycephalosaurus. Afterwards, Rattata, our HM Slave, uses Rock Smash after we defeat a Bird Keeper, so we get a Shell Bell. In Union Cave, we defeat the first Trainer and head to the second floor and receive TM39: Rock Tomb (And pick up an X-Item), head back up and proceed to defeat all of the Hikers and the Pokemon Collector, and we're out of Union Cave! Defeating Route 33's Trainers was a walk in the park, too. We head West and finally arrive in Azelea Town! Home of my second Gym Badge. We don't get a warm welcoming, however. Team Rocket has returned! He shoves a citizen out of the way and starts guarding the Slowpoke Well. The stranger runs off, and we ignore him and run off... For now. In Azelea, we meet a man named Kurt. Kurt wants to teach Team Rocket the true meaning of pain, so that's what he plans on doing. He runs out the door and slams it, leaving his granddaughter alone in the house (Because **** parenting!). Back at the well, he's not so good. Apparently he took a tumble down and injured his back, so of all the people (Bugzy), we have to beat Team Rocket... *sigh* We do just that, and easilly beat Proton. Those Team Rocket fags are cutting off Slowpoke tails and selling them to make money. Back in Azelea, we take on the Gym! I don't even wanna discuss what went on with those Trainers, and Bugzy was a JOKE. He was so easy I don't even feel like typing out the battle (Let's just say... Cranidos used Headbutt! Cranidos used Headbutt! Cranidos used Headbutt! Cranidos used Headbutt! Cranidos used Headbutt! Cranidos used Headbutt!). Heading West, we encounter.... THE GINGER!!! He to was a complete and utter disgrace to Rivals, though his theme is great :). We head along into Illex Forest, get 2 Farfetch'd from a lazy-ass school kid and get HM01: Cut. We use this to progress (Rattata), run into another Kimmono Girl and Cranidos is 1 step closer to tapping *** *** (No seriously it doesn't look good. That was a joke) because he showed her the way outta here, which we follow. Sing! ~Defeating Trainers on Route 34~ We're in Goldenrod City!

Cranidos:

Same Moves, etc.

Pokemon Heart Gold Rampardos Single Challenge: Update 3

Today in Goldenrod, we take a visit to the Pokemon Center to heal. Then, we head to the underground, receive the Fashion Case from Lyra and defeat numerous Trainers.
After this, Cranidos and I take a visit to the Radio Tower, meet the Gym Leader Whitney, who's struggling to get 5 Questions right. The prize? A radio card. We easily do it, get the radio card and Whitney finally returns to the Gym.
Before that, however, we take a peek at Route 35, beat all of the Trainers, and return to Goldenrod City to get my 3rd Gym Badge. We also get a Bike from a guy who recently opened a bike shop.
In the Gym, we easily defeat Whitney's Gym Trainers, and now's Whitney's turn to suffer > : ) (Here I come Miltank!!!) She says she's good at Pokemon, so we've just gotta find out! :). But first!
Because Cranidos is Lvl. 29, why not! :D. <TRAINING>....... After trimming down the Pidgey population by 75%, Cranidos FINALLY evolves! (Lvl. 30 Before the 3rd Gym... Overkill ).
Now, Whitney talks about how good she is and crap, but we'll prove her wrong!. Clefairy starts the battle, Cranidos starts as well. I start with Focus Energy, and Clefairy starts with Metronome and somehow gets Transform!.
It outspeeds me and uses Hammer Arm, leaving my Rampardos with 22 HP. I get the KO with my own Hammer Arm. Now, Miltank... I heal Rampardos with a Super Potion, and Miltank uses Attract; NOT good... I heal again, and it uses Stomp. Luckily, I'm still under the effect of Focus Energy, and it outspeeds me.
Miltank uses Stomp, and I use Hammer Arm, 1HKO'ing the Death Cow , and now, we get: The Plain Badge! (After Whitney cries like a *****) And get TM45: Attract. :D.

Rampardos:
Hammer Arm
Headbutt
Focus Energy
Earthquake
Lvl. 30, Adamant Nature.
