Pokemon White Challenge Update #1:

The adventure has finally begun! I chose Oshawott (for obvious reasons) and made my way to Striaton. After slaughtering the single Purrloin N had, Smoochum managed to beat its way through the trainers guarding the Striaton Gym (thank god for Sweet Kiss). Unfortunately, I forgot to heal her up afterwards, so she fainted against Cilan's Pansage. Swinub had a crapload of trouble as well, but I crit-froze the green primate demon on my first shot. Pretty great, except for Swinub's dismal Spc. Atk. I eventually just opted to spam Powder Snow until it fainted.

After claiming the well-earned Trio badge, I made my way to the day care, where I became a complete and utter bully (Smoochum OHKO'ing everything in sight). And that was where my day ended off.

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #3

After changing the time a thousand times to get the Dusk Stone as price at Pokeathlon didn't work I gave up on that for now and continued playing. I made my way to Ecrutaek City and defeated all trainers as I usually do. After healing my Pokemon I visited the burned down tower. With my team the rival was
relatively hard, especially with his Magnemite (or was it Magneton already?) I put it to sleep with Butterfree (Sleep Powder+Compoundeyes=Awesome :)) and then attacked it with Silverwind after I healed the damage it has done to me. I didn't have anything effective against his other Pokemon but it worked out well anyways. After I chased the Legendairies away I defeated most of the trainers I can reach with Butterfree to get it ready for the gym. Thanks to the gym trainers it learned Psybeam and so the leader wasn't very hard. I put his Gengar to sleep and took it out with 2 Psybeams thanks to a critical hit. All his other Pokemon were down after one hit or 2 hits after he healed them and his last one even helped me with Curse. Butterfree now is overlevelt so it won't fight for a while. While I was fighting in the lighthouse Golbat already evolved into Crobat because it had Soothe Bell since I found the item.

@Koshi If you won't correct your movesets soon somebody else will have to give me one :(

Damnit, I forgot t' make the movesets. ;_; Now I'm bloody tired... won't forget again tomorrow, as I'll sleep on it 'n likely have movesets in mind when I wake up.

... Either way I blame Red Dead Redemption.

Sapphire/scramble/water -monotype/no items run - UPDATE 3

So yeah, the No Items Challenge rules have been updated. Y'all give it a quick read.

Cheers for that, sorry for nitpicking!

Righto, I actually make progress in this update and finally catch two more pokemon (both equal in majesty)

-When we left off I had just defeated Wattson and was making my merry way up to Fallarbor town. The journey involves many uneventful battles and a grinding session in that ash fall route place, but Milly has learned double edge by the end of it and is now at level 28. Not gonna evolve her untill she is level 36 though so that she can learn rain dance.
-Go through Fallarbor, beat team aqua and come a nice roundabout route through meteor falls back through to Verandturf town. Head up Mt chimney and beat some more Aqua ass, and then pop down to the volcanic town of Lavaridge.
-That's a nice fire gym you got there. It would be a shame if someone were to use.... BOATLOADS OF WATER POKEMON. (ok, I used two, it still felt awesome) Easy-Peasy badge.
-Grinding with Go-Go goggles in the desert brings Milly to a nice level 36, where she learns rain dance (will be useful for tougher battles) and evolves into the true blue Raichu equivalent that we know as Azumarill!
-I meander on down back to Petalburg in which an epic match between father and daughter takes pace. It consists of Kipper trolling the Slaking with protect, then destroying them when they slack off. Why hello there balance badge... and surf!
-I teach Surf to Milly, though I plan to teach it to Walrien in the future. By the time that I can catch a Spheal though however, I can nab the HM dive so I'll teach that to Milly instead. But that is all in the future. Now is the perfect time for an epic imaginary fishing montage!
- Get the good rod across the water from Mauville and start fishing for 'mon. I kind of spend hours doing this because I want high leveled AND good natured Pokemon. The fruits of my efforts result in Lady Cray, A female Corphish, level 28 and 'The Duke' a badass male Barboach, level 27.
-Right, I am not moving on past route 118 till Lady Cray has evolved at level 35 (when she will learn Crabhammer), 'The Duke' has evolved at level 36 and learned Future sight and not until Sir Kipper has reached level 46 (he's like 42 now) and learnt Earthquake...
-Luckily, there are loads of trainer battles around, what with new surf routes being opened up and the trainer's eyes thing on the pokenav having loads of trainers. Also, a couple of trick houses thrown into the mix helps things along (though grinding is still needed, New Mauville is good training for the ground types.) Teach Lady Cray strength, and 'The Duke' learns Earthquake pretty early in.
After much training, All my goals have been completed. I am deliciously over leveled, and about to embark on the second half of the Hoenn adventure. Fortree, here I come!

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #4
After I talked to Jasmin on top of the lighthouse I surfed to Cianwood City. The gym isn't hard at all. I defeated Primeape with Crobat's Wing Attack and then switched to Butterfree for Poliwhirl. I put it to sleep and used Psybeam until it was over. After I earned the badge I teached Fly to Crobat and healed the Ampharos. I spend more time trying to get a Dusk Stone as a price and finaly found one :) I then walked to the Safari Zone. In the double battle against the two acetrainers with Electabuzz and Magmar I almost lost. All Pokemon but Crobat were defeated and it had to fight 2v1 (This thing is strong
:)). Back in Cianwood City I fought this Suicune freak and lost to his Electrode... After that I cleaned Mahogany Town from Team Rocket. I'll have to get my Pokemon to a relatively high level for the upcoming gyms...

BTW, where's Ledian's Mach Punch!? :wtf:

The movesets you gave me were against the rules. Mach Punch is physical which is the significantly lower attack stat on Ledian. It also only has a power of 40, so it is too weak to be assigned. Both of the movesets you gave me weren't valid so you should redo them.

1. There has to be at least two attacking, damaging moves per Pokemon. Also, at least one damaging move (of each) of the Pokemon's type(s) must be in the Moveset before any other moves are included.

2. Please do NOT assign useless or ineffective moves i.e. Splash or Charm. Also, please do not assign multiple moves that are obviously not as good as other obtainable moves, i.e. Ember instead of Flame Burst. Moves that use a Pokemon's (notably) weaker attacking stat are also not allowed, i.e. giving a Rampardos Special attacks or giving an Alakazam Physical attacks.

3. Please do NOT assign more than one move with 70% accuracy or lower per Pokemon's moveset.

4. Please do NOT assign egg moves unless the Challenger states they have a way to breed Pokemon with said egg moves.

5. You may only assign any specific TM to one Pokemon only. This rule does NOT apply to Black and White 1/2 Challenges, since TMs don't break in 5th Generation games.

6. You may NOT assign more than two damaging moves of the same type.

7. Challengers may use ANY move in place of ones they are required to learn for the Challenge, but cannot yet learn. i.e. If Dragonite's moveset requires Hyper Beam, but it cannot learn it yet for whatever reason, any move may replace Hyper Beam until it has the chance to learn it. As soon as a Pokemon can learn an assigned move, it must. For example, if you get the Shadow Ball TM before your Gengar learns Shadow Ball by level up, you MUST use the TM (unless the Challenge is being done on a non-5th Generation game and another Pokemon requires the TM in question).

And on that note, I've your new movesets Lucktown.

Ledian:

Bug Buzz
Focus Blast (TM, Goldenrod Department Store)
Dig (TM, National Park)
Light Screen

Xatu:

Psychic
Hyper Beam (TM, Goldenrod Department Store)
Night Shade

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #5

I decided to fight Jasmine without any further training because it takes so long in this game. I teached Ledian Dig and Focusblast, and Xatu gets Hyperbeam and Reflect. The Magnemite got taken out with just one dig, but the Steelix was much more resistant. A dig and one Focusblast only dealt 1/4 of his HP before Ledian was defeated. Butterfree didn't do much more with Sleep Powder and Shadow Ball, so I used Honchkrow with Night Shade. Sadly it survived and got healed. Honchkrow managed to get it into the orange section before it also got taken out. I switched in Xatu and it finished Steelix with a critical hit on Hyperbeam. When I tried to do get the ice badge I noticed that I won't have a chance against the leader with my current Pokemon, so I'll have to train no matter how much I hate it :(

Pokemon White Challenge Update #2

Once I was done being a total jerk to toddlers, I finally encountered the grunts for the first time. Teaming up with Cheren proved to be far more useful than I thought, considering I once again forgot to heal up (I really need to start doing that). Smoochum was a life-saver in this battle, considering it leveled and learned Confusion after the first Patrat. Returning to the little girl her Pokemon, I leveled a bit in the caves before returning to my adventure.

Once I arrived at Nacrene, I finally managed to pull a Snover up from the Pokemon abyss. Once it was trained up a bit, I went through the entire Dragonite-skull-thieves event. Snover absolutely dominated each and every one of Team Plasma's Pokemon, which is surprising since it has mediocre stats across the board (thank you, bou0010). Of course, after the Plasma heist and the epic smackdown Snover gave them, I had to challenge the gym. Lenora was a lot harder than Cilan, mostly due to that blasted Herdier, but Snover and Swinub once again came through for me. Bless the guy who invented Grasswhistle/Mud Slap spam attacking.

After beating Lenora and obtaining my second badge, I traversed the Skyarrow Bridge to Castelia City. Once there, I managed to fight off all of the dancers, as well as the lower leveled employees scattered throughout the buildings. After all of that, I got to the whole Bianca and Plasma ordeal. I swear, that girl gets into the most unfortunate situations. So, after a long and boring event with the Plasma Grunts, I finally got to challenge the gym.

Burgh's gym was quite possibly the easiest gym I've ever faced, and that's not an exaggeration. with my newly-leveled Snover (named Bou in honor of the person who chose him for me) and Swinub, the trainers were absolute garbage. Burgh provided little more challenge, though I'll admit that Leavanny proved to be tougher than expected. After winning my third badge and making my way back through the honey walls, I ended the day with a small battle against the final Dancer.

Smoochum (lv. 20)

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #6
I trained my all my Pokemon on lvl 35 so that I can finaly take on the 7th gym. Seal was no problem with Pidgeotto. Jewgong was a lot harder and it managed to defeat Pidgeotto. I then used Ledian, but it also lost thanks to Rest and Sleeptalk with Aurorabeam, so I sent in Honchkrow. I started with Swagger and then use Nightshade. Jewgong hit himself a couple of times, but it also only needed 2 Iceshards to take out Honchkrow. Jewgong only had about 1/3 Hp left so I finished it with Hyperbeam. For Piloswine I used Butterfree. I put it to sleep and attacked it with Silver Wind, but 2 Silver Winds weren't enough so he healed it. Ice Fang didn't take me out so I put it to sleep again and healed it before continuing to attack. I got a stat raise with Silver Wind and Shadow Ball lowered Piloswine Spc. Def. After he used his second potion the fight was over and I got my 7th badge.
