Otherwise, I might have actually managed to get Lucktown to use it.
You are an evil person :D
I think there is a flying typed attack missing in the moveset

Lies and deceit. Bulbapedia is garbage and there's no way my fellow Guru would bother there. Nope. None... 'course not... ... ... ;_;

I think there is a flying typed attack missing in the moveset

Butterfree doesn't get decent Flyin' STAB; 'sides the Gen 5 only Acrobatics; anyways. 'Cept for Air Cutter I guess, which is hardly decent.

That alright, CK?

No one calls me that no more, so stop callin' me that plz.

Black Scramble Challenge Update 7!!

Today's adventure starts with myself and my Poke visiting the stadiums at the north of town to get a little bit of training in before the gym. In the big stadium I fought Striker Troy who used a Ducklett which Whirlipede took out with Roll Out. In the small stadium I battled Smasher Elena with a Blitzle which Whirlipede had no issues taking it out with a couple Poison Tails thanks to Poison Point activating. I move on to the Musical to get that little bit of side stuff over with *shoots self*. After Bianca's Dad is done yelling at the poor girl I decide to move on to 16 for a few more battles.

First fight was with a security guard guy with a Herdier, stupid intimidate basically shuts down my whole team other than Ghastly, so i swap to Machop from Whirlipede to Low Sweep the Herdiers face. I fight the biker and take her Ducklett out with Machop and Seismic Toss after which he learns Revenge Mwahahaha. Ventured into the thick grass for a couple items and I run into a double battle with a Gothita and a Trubbish. Lets just say they wouldn't let me run and poisoned my poor Herdier mid battle :(. After a quick run to the Poke center i finished up the last of the trainers on the route with ease. Before I go to the Ferrish Wheel and the Gym in Nimbasa I decided to Audino hunt to get Machop to 28 so he can finally Evolve.

After finishing evolving Machop to Machoke, I run over to the Ferris Wheel area to beat the heck out of N. He tried his hardest to beat me taking 3 of my Poke down to red Health but in the end he was no match for my team. After entering the gym i start my first battle with a trainer and *head explodes* its a Lady with 2 double teaming emolga gah. After that annoying miss I beat the second trainer with a single Return from Deerling. Third trainer was just as easy as the second, 1 Return for each Blitzle on his team. Lets just say Deerling with Return is a Beast for a non evolved Pokemon haha. To start the battle with Elesa I chose Herdier holding the Eviolite and with Rock Tomb, Dig and Return for offensive moves. She starts off with....you guessed it Volt Switch and swaps into her second Emolga which takes a Rock Tomb to half health with a speed drop and then goes down to a Return from Herdier....which gets me staticed. She throws out her first Emolga again which uses Spark and takes a Return to half Health. She then decides to....yet again Volt Switch to swap into Zebstrika who takes a nice Return to the green just before half health. Next turn she gets a crit to finish off Herdier *sigh*. I send out Machoke to deal with Zebstrika but she then Volt Switches out *rolls eyes*. With Emolga back in I know Machoke could be in trouble but i decide to go for a Strength. He takes Aerial Ace nicely but doesn't get Emolga down, gets static activated. She then proceeds to heal the darn rat which takes another Strength back down to Half Health. Next turn I heal so I don't lose Machoke then use Strength the following turn to finish off that darn Emolga. I again heal Machoke so he will have enough HP to deal with Zebstrika. Sadly para hacks get the best of me and i took a chance to see if Machoke would survive one more hit *sigh*. I send out Haunter hoping he can put the darn thing to sleep which he gets hit pretty hard with Spark and misses Hypnosis so I just let him faint. I send out Deerling hoping for a strong Return and he doesn't quite kill Zebstrika after being hit by an unlucky crit from spark. Both Elesa and I decide to heal and now the battle is getting scary for me with only Deerling, Whilipede and Tynamo left, uh-oh. We trade hits one more time and Deerling takes about 1/3 damage but gets Paralyzed from spark (ugh), Return does half damage thankfully. Next turn Zebstrika uses Flame charge -_- I hate this gym so much. Its up to Whirlipede (good luck) to finish this half health Zebstrika off. Whirlipede takes a Volt Switch good enough to be a 3HKO sadly the second Volt Switch is a crit and Zebstrika is alive with a sliver of HP left. I send out Tynamo and let him take the chance to take a hit and survive. Little Tynamo actually survives a Flame Charge and finishes that darn Zebstrika with a Tackle. Talk about a close call.

Thats all i can handle for today guys and gals. Happy hunting.

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #1
I started my adventure with Chikorita because his starter doesn't really matter anyways :D I had to use it until I can catch my first Pokemon. As soon as I got pokeballs I catched a Pidgey on lvl 3. It took a while to train Pidgey on lvl 5 so that I can use it to defeat the trainers on the way to the Dark Cave where I caught a Zubat. I trained both of my Pokemon by defeating all the monks in the Bellsprout Tower. I fought Falkner Zubat lvl 7 and Pidgey lvl 13. His first Pokemon was no problem. For his Pidgeotto I used Supersonic and then switched to my Pidgey. Pidgeoto hit itself 3 times while I just attacked it. I was lucky in this gym so I had no problems here. I then caught a Ledyba on Route 32 and continued my way and trained Ledyba and Zubat by starting the battle with them and then switching out. The battles in the Union Cave took long but they didn't have rock moves to defeat me. After the training Ledyba and Zubat were strong enough to take out most of Team Rocket's members. I only used Pidgey for their leader. In the gym Ledyba reached lvl 14 and learned Reflect and Lightscreen, Zubat learned Bite and Pidgey evolved. For Bugsy I set up Reflect but it defeated Ledyba before I could confuse Scyther. So I just defeated it with Gust. I left the rest to Zubat so it can get some exp.

Ledyba lvl14 (Brave) with Swarm
-Reflect
-Supersonic
-Comet Punch
-Lightscreen

Zubat lvl13 (Bashful) with Inner Focus
-Leech Life
-Supersonic
-Astonish
-Bite

-Gust

And I was wondering why spellcheck was complaining. But it doesn't really matter as long as you know what it means. It would be nice if I could get the moveset now because my internet sucks at the moment so I can't really play anything else -_-

Sapphire, scramble, water monotype, no items run - UPDATE 2 (FINALLY)

Well hello everyone! Haven't been active at all recently due to big exams coming up, but had some quality (and missed) 'mon time tonight. Then I remember, its a no items challenge! It is insanely difficult for me to make the transition from being a total pack-rat. Having said that, it is ridiculous how much time you save by not having to visit every house in a town, just to maybe get a potion that you don't need, and is quite a time saver! However I do have some questions regarding the more nittier, grittier rules.
Question 1. HMs. Ok so you are allowed to use them, because they are essential to the plot. But does that mean you can only teach it to one 'mon on a team? Because a team of water pokemon with terrible and narrow movesets would all greatly benefit from Surf and Waterfall! :p
Question 2. The bike. Ok so you aren't allowed to use fly because it isn't essential. You can only use items like the pokemon flute, at times when they are essential. If this means that I can only use the bike to climb up Mt chimney etc, and nothing else... well that is the most evil thing that I could imagine!

RIGHT. Let's get down to business. [SUB](it's a gif, though there is nothing wrong with just will smith)[/SUB] 336.gif

-Ok, lets get back on track. When we left off, I had just defeated Brawl- WHAT. I am back in Petalburg woods. :| only one badge. Haven't rescued Peeko yet. Did I not save right!? I always save at least twice, I am such a paranoid parrot about saving. FINE. I'll just have to get back to where I was.
-Half an hour later I disgruntledly arrive at my previous point in my quest. Slateport, I thought I'd never stroll your golden beaches again!
-Make it to Slateport. Beat the soda pop house, though I get poisoned. It's fine i'll just use and andtido- oh wait. No items. OH WAIT. Sir Kipper may actually die! I haven't felt the poison fear in years!
-Luckily I get to the pokemon centre, but this has awoken me to the very real dangers of status afflictions in a no item world.
- I get team aqua out of the way, and head towards mauville. Man it feels so weird not having to visit all the houses and talk to everyone!
-Traning training training. Oh hey, its rival battle time. Kipps is ridiculously overleveled at 31, and pwns the otherwise super-effective Grovyle with take down. Brendan gives me an itemfinder. STOP MOCKING ME.
-Hello Mauville! Finally, time for a new mon. Catch a Maril, lvl 13, Female. Name her Miss Milly. She is pretty awful, so put her in front and level that mouse up, battling all the trainers in the area (of which there are many!) Kipp's mudshot is awesome 'gainst all the electric types around. The mudfish/axolotl thing is lvl 35 by the time it's gym time (my favourite time of day!), Milly is around lvl 18 and has rollout which is not half bad (Miltank, eat your heart out)
-Defeat Watson, acquire badge.
-Get rock smash, and teach it to my Zigzagoon slave (in my opinion the the ultimate HM slave pokemon, it's like he was created for it) Reopen the path to Rustborough, get Strength, and then I am on my merry way towards Mt Chimney. Along the way, Sir Kip learns Muddy water! Yay! Milly gets bubble beam. Not gonna evolve either of them till Kip learns earthquake (at lvl 42) and Milly learns double edge (at lvl 28). I wont be able to catch any more pokemon until I get the good rod, after defeating my father, so I need these guys to get good moves, fast.

-I'm still playing right now, I'll edit this post in a bit with the rest of the details!... wow I didn't achieve much at all :cornut:
-

Current team

Sir Kipper - Marshtomp - Lvl 37
-Muddy Water
-Mud Shot
-Takedown
-Bide

Miss Milly - Marill - Lvl 21
-Bubblebeam
-Rollout
-Tackle
-Tail whip

Lucktown, second line, 8th word. Caught... Not catched.

Don't be a damn English Nazi. Not 'less it's as a joke, which it clearly ain't. Worse yet that it's completely irrelevant and off-topic.

Don't forget you make occasional mistakes yaself.

I hate addin' in technicalities like that, so I simply revised the rules a tad. So yeah, the No Items Challenge rules have been updated. Y'all give it a quick read.

Pokemon Soulsilver Scrambled/Moveset/Monotype Challenge, Update #2

I went through the Ilex Forest. Then I spent all my money gambling for 2 TM62 (Silverwind). I used one of these on Ledyba, then I defeated all trainers above Goldenrod city, which actually was pretty hard becasause there were a lot of electro Pokemon and a Marill with Roll Out (just giving me a taste of the upcoming gym -_-) I participated in the bug catching contest to get a Butterfree. Sadly I didn't win to get a Dusk Stone. I traded a Murkrow egg, hatched it and then started to train it for Whitney. When my Pokemon were lvl17 I challenged her and failed 2 times in a row because Roll Out hit 8 times in a row, so I decided to evolve Zubat and train Murkrow to lvl 20. The next time I fought Whitney Miltank didn't even use Roll Out so I finaly managed to win by using switching between Golbat and Murkrow when they got attracted and then finishing it with Pidgeotto's Quick Attack. Now I am playing in the Pokeathlon to get a Dusk Stone. Still nothing on November the 5th

Derp. I meant Wing Attack. I think I just merged it with Night Slash

Murkrow with Super Luck
Nice. That'll give Night Slash a 25% chance of being a critical hit! I was hoping you'd get Super Luck. :D
