Gave that random 'mon thing a go, and I gots me a Tyranitar... Considerin' I do need t' get in the Single Hall of Fame, as well as the fact I like TTar, I might as well use one for a Single Challenge.

Speakin' of random Pokestuff, y'all give this a try. It's mighty lulzy. This is what I got.

I would like to do a monotype challenge, using only rock type Pokemon on Diamond. :)

Right on, Challenge accepted. Have fun with it.

My spirit pokemon was Tynamo :( So I did it again and got Druddigon.
I'll do a Druddigon solo run after this challenge

Hey,

My Scamble Monotype, Unevolved, No items challenge is underway!

My challenge begins with a short introduction from Professor Juniper explaining the basics of Pokemon. Gender, mine and rivals names done, off to the world of pokemon.

Mom's home, she asks me stupid questions, "Do I want to have a Pokemon?" Obviously I do Pokemon are my life! "Do I know what a Pokedex is?" How old does she think I am? 5? Mom says she's just had a call from Professor Juniper, and that her assistant, Bianca has come to Aspertia City looking for me. No idea why I'm so importart but I dont mind! I can finally begin my dream! Apparently Bianca is already in Aspertia and I have to go look for her. Her name is Bianca and she wears a big green hat, thats all Mom said. Best get going.

Oh no here comes Hugh again. He always boasts about his Pokemon, I'll show him as soon as I find Bianca. I accidently let slip that she was giving me a Pokemon now he is following me until I find her. I find him really creepy when he does this, follows me around and offers no help what so ever. ARH! We (I) searched everywhere in Aspertia to find Bianca but she wasn't in the Pokemon Centre or any of the houses. Hugh wouldn't let me check the Trainer School, apparently no one works there yet or Route 19 because I dont have a Pokemon. I was about to give up when I remember the Lookout. I rarely go up there anymore, so many stairs. I finally reached the top, hugh gave up half way, and there she was, looking out across the lake. I used to spend hours up here imagining what it would be like to soar through the clouds like a Tranquill or run wild in forest like a Deerling.

Anyway, Bianca wants me to help her and Professor Juniper complete a Pokedex. I couldn't believe my dream was finally beginning. I'd been thinking all while looking for Bianca what Pokemon I would choose as my starter. The elegance and grace of Snivy, the pure power that is Tepig or the cuteness of Oshawott. In the end I finally made my decision, Snivy! Bianca then knocked me for 6 when she asked if I wanted to give Snivy a nickname. I considered it then declined as I wanted Snivy to become its own character rather than have things forced upon it. Then she gave me the Pokedex and told me to travel to the furthest reaches of Unova, from that moment I knew I was going to have to walk the whole way, I only had 3000Poke, no where near enough to buy a bike.

Hugh finally reached the summit just as Bianca finished explaining the workings of the Pokedex, to which Bianca decided to give him one as well. Bianca suggested that we battle and so it was my first battle was atop the Lookout versus Hugh. I chose Snivy he sent out his Tepig. Snivy too the lead and attacked first with a tackle and Tepig responded in kind, but with a critical hit! Snivy tackled again and then dodged Tepig's strike. Tepig tried a tail whip, and it connects, Snivy follows with tackle and its a critical hit, Tepig is unable to battle, Snivy wins! That was the most excited I've been my whole life.

Bianca congratulated me then gave me a tour of the Pokemon centre, although I'd been there many times before as its only down the street from where I live. She then gave me some Pokeballs to use in my adventure. Which she proceded to show me how to use. Mom came and gave me my shoes as I'd been in such a rush to find Bianca I had gone out in just my socks. Hugh's sister the gave me two Town Map's one for me and one for her brother when I managed to catch up to him, he had already gone off to fill his Pokedex while I was having the tour.

My journey was finally underway! I headed through Route 19 towards Floccesy Town keeping an eye out for Hugh as I went. We encountered several Purrlion and Patrats as we went all of which gave Snivy enough battle experience to learn Vine Whip! Im so proud. On the outskirts of Floccesy Town a strange fire haired man jumped from the cliff above me and introduced himself as Alder the previous Unova Champion, he asked me to train with him, what an honour! As we got the training arena he noticed I had 2 Town Maps and told me I should deliver Hugh's one before the training began.

We headed out onto Route 20 in search of Hugh and Youngster Terrell who wanted to battle. His Patrat was no match for Snivy's Vine Whip and was knocked out almost as soon as the battle began. We entered the long grass and there was Pidove, Snivy weakened it with a tackle and through a Pokeball, it missed. Snivy then took massive damage from the Pidove's Gust, I threw a second Pokeball and Pidove was caught! Two more trainers and several wild Pokemon later we reached Floccesy Ranch.

There's Hugh, I gave him the Town Map and he suggested a rematch. Which, after close several misses and taking a critical hit, I won taking down his Tepig for the second time. The owners then showed up and requested that me and Hugh find their lost Herdier. Hugh eager as always runs off, I found the Herdier before him and took down the Team Plasma member who stole it.

Okay i cant do it any more :(

Diamond Palaeo-run (A rock monotype run, using only fossil pokemon!) UPDATE NO.1

And so begins my rock monotype run. But I am adding the extra rule of restricting myself to fossil pokemon only.

-Chose female character, name her Blondie. Name rival as Barry (how original)
-Chose Turtwig as my temporary starter because it is the most dinosaur like. Named it Twiglett.
- Made it to Sandgem, got some pokeballs, caught heaps of Bidoofs and traded them all for UNHATCHED FOSSIL EGGS. Is this Jurassic park or what. In the eggs are Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, and Shieldon. I can catch a Cranidos later.
- after painstaking running back and forth (egg hatching without a bike is TERRIBLE), Anorith is the first to hatch. Name him Archibald. His moves are scratch, protect and harden, Wow.
- After very slow grinding with Archie, Kabuto hatches! Yay! He has scratch, harden, mud shot and a surprise egg move of waterfall! :O I can tell that we are going to be the best of friends. Named him Francisco.
-Francisco is leveling up like a baws, Archie is already jealous. Cute 'lil Shieldon hatches. He has tackle and protect. Name him Augustine.
-Finally leave the Sandgem area and head to Jubilife, encountering my first trainer battles along the way.
-Francisco is kicking ass with the trainers, learned absorb. Augustine is INCREDIBLY slow to level, and it's tackle barely damages a Bidoof. I think I shall focus training the pokemon that will be useful in upcoming gyms, and slowly bring up the others. ( I forgot how slow most fossils are to level up. I will essentially be doing a no evolution run because most of them don't evolve until level 40!)
-Lileep evolves, name him Randall. He knows astonish and constrict...
-To celebrate entering Jubilife, Aerodactyl hatches, yay! I name him Hamilton. His moves are... WOAH, bite, scary face, stone edge and fly. When I was breeding these eggs, I didn't even check the parents for moves. I literally just stuck an aerodactyl in with a ditto. Seemed to work out nicely for kabuto and old 'dactyl here!

So to sum up, I made it to Jubilife and hatched all of my eggs (took bloody ages). Only cranidos left to resurrect and I'll have the full team!

Current team:
Archibald - Anorith - Lvl 5
-Scratch
-Harden
-Protect
- ---

Francisco - Kabuto - Lvl 6
-Absorb
-Waterfall
-Mudshot
-Harden

Augustine - Shieldon - Lvl 4

-Tackle
-Harden
- ---
- ---

Randall - Lileep - Lvl 1

-Astonish
-Constrict
- ---
- ---

Hamilton - Aerodactyl - Lvl 1

-Bite
-Scary Face
-Stone Edge
-Fly

B2S UPDATE

I got to Opelucid City with my team of level 50 pokemon and battled Drayden as soon as I could. I wouldn't say the battle was easy, but it definitely wasn't difficult. I followed him to his house where he was telling me about Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem when we were rudely interrupted by Team Plasma attempting to freeze the city. I crushed all the Plasma Grunts as well as Zinzolin when they tried to get the DNA Splicers from Drayden. They decided to leave because of my sheer strength (I think). Drayden thanked me for my help and got the DNA Splicers to show me. Unfortunately, the Shadow Triad had been waiting for this moment and stole the Splicers. They escaped.
I flew to Undella Town and rode through the Marine Tube to get to Humilau City. I destroyed the gym with the help of Manectric. I then went to route 22 where I met Colress again. This time he gave me a Colress MCHN and told me about something in the Seaside Cave that reminded him of when we met on route 4. Naturally, I [strike] didn't care [/strike] was curious about what he was talking about so I went to the Seaside Cave and saw that he was talking about a Crustle that I could only move using a Colress MCHN. Luckily I happened to be carrying one in my bag! I woke up the Crustle and exited the cave through the exit the Crustle was blocking. I found the Plasma Frigate outside. I saved just outside and may continue later today.

SS-M Challenge Update

Surfed over to Mahogany and made my way t' the Lake of Rage, catchin' me that famous Red *Gyarados for use as an HM slave. Booted the Rockets outta their den 'n took on Pryce. Dirge beat 'em up but good, especially since I equipped 'em with the Choice Specs I found up at the lake. He managed to stall out Dirge a tad through a combination of items 'n Rest spam, but that mattered little. Glacier Badge get!

Manhandled Team Rocket grunts en masse 'n their executives with ease. Archie wasn't much harder, as his Houndoom was unable to OHKO my Dirge, Specs-boosted Surf most certainly KOing in one shot. Got me that Silver Wing 'n Sunny Day, which I immediately taught t' Facepalm. With a Chlorophyll boost, Facepalm is actually mighty fast, allowin' 'em to spam Solarbeam with impunity or use an speedy Sleep Powder.

Flew over to Mahogany and made my way through the Ice Path, immediately tackling Blackthorn Gym upon exiting. I wasn't at all worried since I had Tlaloc t' tank them Dragons with impunity... turns out I didn't even need t' use 'em on the Gym trainers. I wasn't concerned 'bout PP for the battle with Clair, so I just used a healin' item or two and got right to it.

As always, she starts with Gyarados. I led with Facepalm with plans t' abuse my newly obtained Sunny Day. Her not-so-Dragon-type dragon's Bite did flinch Facepalm once, with the second hit leavin' 'em at literally five HP, but with the sun shinnin' bright and boosted speed Sleep Powder knocked it out cold, allowin' me to heal up and just barely smash Gyarados out cold with two Solarbeams. Hoping it wasn't the one with Fire Blast, I went for the Sleep Powder as the sunlight faded. It miraculously didn't miss, allowin' me to set up sunlight again and get back t' spammin' Solarbeam... unfortunately it woke up after the second shot, countering with a boosted Fire Blast. Facepalm didn't have a chance of survivng...

Out goes Dirge to spam Shadow Ball. Clair's Dragonair does get off an annoyin' Thunderwave 'fore fainting, sadly. Next up comes her Kingdra, doin' enough damage to easily 3HKO Dirge with it's Dragon Pulse. However, a lucky Special Defense drop from the first Shadow Ball all but ensures an easy KO, just barely knockin' it out. I haven't even needed Tlaloc t' tank for me yet, so considerin' all she has left is her Aqua Tail Dragonair, there's no chance of losin'. Two Shadow Balls later, Rising Badge get!

With that done, I made my way t' the Whirl Islands to [STRIKE]claim the real prize[/STRIKE] obtain my last team member. I'd been collectin' Black Apricorns t' make a shitton of Heavy Balls. When put asleep and at 1 HP, those Heavy Balls give it a catch rate of 46. Even with only a few more than 20 balls, this meant the capture would be pretty damn easy. Things went wrong the first two tries (RNG just barely KO'd it, then a crit offed it), as well as a third when it had a bloody Adamant nature, but the second catch was good enough. A Bashful nature is acceptable I s'pose. Ain't like it needs a boosting nature t' anything considerin' it's an Uber, after all.

With my team complete and the trip t' Kanto soon to come, I decided t' stop and save. The team is as follows.

Tlaloc (Bronzong) @ Bright Powder, Lv. 40
Naughty
Levitate

Payback
Extrasensory
Gyro Ball

Rain Dance

Dirge (Slowking), @ Choice Specs, Lv. 40
Bold
Oblivious

Confusion
Yawn
Surf
Shadow Ball

Facepalm (Exeggutor) @ Shell Bell, Lv. 40
Chlorophyll
Sassy

SolarBeam
Sleep Powder
Confusion
Sunny Day

Lugia @ Mystic Water (needz moar sharp beak), Lv. 45
Pressure
Bashful

Extrasensory
Thunder
Hydro Pump
Aeroblast (PP is maxed out with the three PP ups I managed t' come across :D)

Someone gimme a nickname for Lugia, I can't be arsed t' think up anythin'.

That is quite possibly the most generic Lugia nickname out there.

... I'll take it.

Guess who's back from the Carnival Glory?

Yep, I'm back... and because I've been absent so long here's Johnny's second challenge update, which is so long, so Teddiursa with me.

I. JOHNNY, UPDATE #2

CHALLENGE TYPE: SOLO, MOVESET
SOLOIST: "Johnny" the SENTRET/FURRET
MOVE 1: Surf (HM)
MOVE 2: Strength (HM)
MOVE 3: Me First (LV)
MOVE 4: Sucker Punch (LV)
GAME: HEARTGOLD

IN-GAME DATA: TEAM MEMBER, HM/FODDER

TEAM: Johnny, (FURRET, LV 50), PIDGEY*, (LV 2)

SPECIFICS[SUP]MEMBERS ONLY[/SUP]:

FURRET, "Johnny", LV 50, KEEN EYE, LAX, MALE

(MOVESET COMPLETE!)

MOVE 1: Surf (HM)
MOVE 2: Strength (HM)
MOVE 3: Me First (LV)
MOVE 4: Sucker Punch (LV)

UPDATE #2:

Having just met the Day-Care couple, I registered them in my Pokegear. I then went into Goldenrod, and played Voltorb flip, after which, I bought six Abras, and got luck with a female. (I need Abra for my complete Nat.Dex, and I need to breed me an Alakazam for a certain online team...) I returned to the challenge, and got a radio card. I then battled Whitney, whom, again, I lost too, twice. I did, however, get to LV. 36 and start Sucker-Punching Miltank. After the battle, I used my only PP up on SP, because it only has a PP of 5. It rose one. [GLARE at DaQuil, everything's his fault].

I got the watering can, and tromped right to the bug-catching contest... And lost. I then passed the Sudowoodo up, on accident, killing it... I went to the next town, beat Morty, and swept Silver for the first time. I then walked to Lighthouse-town and got the Lighthouse-level-up-treatment. Beginning again, in search for medicine, at level 40, I battled every trainer in the Lighthouse-Town beach+Whirl Islands. Getting to Chuck's gym, and admiring the majestic Mankeys I eventually surfed everything out but Chuck. I healed up, and came back. I beat him on my first try. Afterwords, I changed my party, now having only Johnny and *Pidgey, I flew back to Lighthouse Town.

I did the other stuff, and got to Mahogany town. I went through the LoR, and when I defeated the last Electrode, Furret was at LV 47, with two experience points to level up. Upon beating all of Pryce's lackies (He's evil, I know it. Pokemon Special doesn't lie...) I came up to the Masked M- "Gym L-Leader", I mean, I was level 49. I swept all three of his brainwashed 'mons with Strength, finally achieving Me First.

I left the gym, and Prof. Elm called. He told me abouit strange radio-ness. I went straight to Goldenrod, home to the radio tower, which was infested with Rocket Grunts. I figured I could sneak in if I stole a uniform. It worked. I snuck into the tower, when Silver (I'm gun' kill HIM!) blew my cover. However, I swept the grunt, and moved to the second floor. I battled all the grunts, saved.

Sorry for the long time- no Mankey. But cruise ships don't have guest-friendly computers.

But guys! WIICHAT team? Just pick yo' favourite Pocket Mon... And give it a Moveset! Simple. Still got four slots. Or if your favourite Pokemon's unevolved, give it a set, and ther's a possibility I'll take it, otherwise I'll evolve it. I'M LOOKING AT YOU AZRAEL [19]! JUST GIVE ME YO' FAVOURITE MON (AND MOVESET)! Oh, and Reflection, you too. Everybody except Karp, who refused anything but Magikrap.

I think I shall give you a Gallade, preferably with an Adamant nature with Psycho Cut, Night Slash(or Brick Break), Leaf Blade and Reflect.
If possible EV train him in ATK and either DEF or SPEED (or both :D)

I noticed earlier you saying you're getting an Alakazam, so if you want a different type of Pokemon, lemme know
