Diamond Palaeo-run (A rock monotype run, using only fossil pokemon!) UPDATE NO.2
Current team:
Archibald - Anorith - Lvl 10
-Scratch
-Harden
-Protect
-Mud Sport
Francisco - Kabuto - Lvl 15
-Absorb

-Mudshot
-Leer
Augustine - Shieldon - Lvl 10
-Tackle
-Harden
-Taunt
-Metal Sound
Randall - Lileep - Lvl 10
-Astonish
-Constrict
-Acid
- ---
Hamilton - Aerodactyl - Lvl 14
-Bite
-Scary Face
-Stone Edge
-Fly
-Mill around Jubilife, fall in love with Hamilton the Aerodactyl
-Some much needed grinding in route 204 (fossils are so slow in terms of EVERYTHING... Not you Hamilton, I didn't mean you)
- Own Barry on route 203 with Hamilton and Francisco (kabuto)
-Make it to Oreburgh, Francisco destroys Roark and his whole gym in under two minutes
- Grind some more in the cave on the way back to Jubilife. Archibald (Anorith) is showing potential. Augustus (Shieldon) and Randall (Lileep) however, are painstakingly slow and very weak attack wise, though they can definitely take more than a few hits so hopefully raising them will pay off
-Catch a Geodude as a HM slave. Name her Gertrude, and she proceeds to rock smash her way to Floaroma town (Some hiccups in Jubilife, a reporter in Jubilife TV station almost kills me with a Lvl 17 chatot... It had sing and mirror move, so very annoying! But lo and behold, little Augustus stuck it out and eventually beat it! Aww little cutie :3)
- Head to the wind-works and show the poorly dressed team plasma who's boss with my archaic team
-Battle and train my dudes all the way to Eterna forest. Buddy up with Cheryl, Augustus trolls some Cascoon with taunt
- Stop in eterna forest. It is taking me so bloody long because I am battling everything that appears in grass, trying to level the team up. But most of them have abysmal attack and are super slow, so it is taking EONS.
Essentially, I don't make too much progress as it is taking so much time to train these slow to grow fossil dudes. I am also thinking that I don't even want to have a Craniodos. I might trade over a little Omanyte egg, to get a good special attacker, and bung Cranidos in the day care for when I need him. (Volkner maybe?) I know I should probably swap kabuto out, but I need all the fast attackers I can get! I know Rampardos has awesome attack, but he is oh so very slow, and fragile, and I just don't need a pure rock type. What do you think? Should I swap another pokemon for Omanyte, or just leave it?
