Mewtwo does his Pokémon Cry on entry
Mewtwo disappears in one of his victory animations
Mewtwo still has the ugly sounding death screams from Melee (I never liked it).
Roy's FAST and his Nair is AWMAZIN
Roy's can angle his Blazer (I think)
Roy's Up-Tilt is a wide arc (think Ike and rainbows)
Roy's Counter is powerful and has reach
The announcers' voice is perfect for Roy and Mewtwo (Not out of place)
Doctor Mario looks like how Warioware Wario looks like to Wario on the Character Select Screen obvsly
Mario's name does NOT change to Doctor Mario in the Character Select Screen and in the Victory Screen
The Character Select Screen is looking full but not crowded.
RANDALL AS PLAYABLE CHARACTER!!!!

I'm surprised they managed t' make decent soundbytes for Roy 'n Mewtwo, but they ain't really all-that good. Not 'less ya consider what little they had t' work with.

Only if PMBR think Mewdos is presentable; which is t' say, maybe he ain't yet functioning in Turbo Mode. I dunno how it works, but programmin' Turbo Mode might require individual move tweaks as opposed t' the mode itself bein' all that's needed.

If Mewtwo does look good in Turbo Mode, we'll almost assuredly get 'em Tuesday.

Turbo mode is just being able to cancel anything at anytime, with the exception of not being able to cancel into the same move. Um, I had a friend code a mod similar to this for Brawl, and it wasn't character specific.

Ain't surprised my ramblings are probably wrong. I know absolutely ****-all 'bout modding, coding 'n such.

On the topic'a Turbo Mode, I'm sure there'l never be a srsly srs tier list for it, but I'd imagine there's gonna be an actual sort'a metagame to it. Characters that can easily get stray hits and have good combo starters/extenders to convert said stray hit int' combos are gonna be (more) broken (than everyone else). i.e. Pikachu with super-QAC shenanigans.

They should add Tripping to Turbo Mode just for fun or as a select option.
One trip you dead

Also I don't think the PMBR really tallies up votes for the next character.
They choose who ever they want.
Or else it would have been Ganon this whole time.

... Does it work? CAN I HAZ IT?!

Yes, I've been seeing a lot of Ganon and Link votes. I think they just Turbo whoever is the most ready for it.

Back before Brawl, I mained Roy. Problem was that facing off against Marths I'd always lose unless the guy made a stupid mistake. So yeah, that always sucked.

The mod is obviously addressing the issue, but what are they changing about him?

They Upgraded his speed and his aerial game.
Roy is now usable in the air and not completely grounded.

Assasin keeps track of Project M news? WHAT?!?!?!

Anyway, about Roy, here is the release video, a bit of gameplay showing his new moveset and changes, with some epic background music playing.
Here is his character page on the website. A bit more expansive and explanatory than the video, and features a couple pictures along with the text.

He's just-plain more powerful too. Uncharged Neutral-B actually has good knockback. I'm pretty sure his Down-smash has more knockback too, and is both harder to punish and hits behind 'em quicker. Since Roy's only reliable KO move in Melee was F-smash, those two buffs alone are a huge boost.

Oh, and three new moves. His Side-B (Double-Edged Dance) is the same thing but the fourth strikes for each'a the directions are all new and vastly improved. Forward has retarded range, Up is simply improved, Down is probably improved but I can't really tell from just that one trailer. Also, unlike Marth, he now gets a backwards-striking forth hit for Side-B. Not just t' hit opponents behind 'em either, IIRC he can combo into it. Pretty sure the third downward-hit for Side-B can send 'em just a bit behind ya.

His Neutral-aerial is now a single hit spinning slash with huge range, and doesn't require a close-range sweetspot like most of his other moves. It's presumably a great move; clearly better than his old N-air. His F-tilt is now a really long ranged stab. Between N-air and F-tilt, Roy now has two really great ranged attacks so he can still be a threat when forced into a defensive position by an advancing foe. They're also tough to punish from what I can tell, you can act outta the moves very quickly. One'a Roy's biggest flaws was how easy he could be punished.

EDIT: Oh, and his B-air is deadly now. Has really high knockback. His D-air meteor smash is (presumably) a lot easier t' hit too, so he actually has better aerial KO options than Marth.

I don't know about that. Marth still has the Ken Combo and the King Combo (Fair to Reverse Dolphin Slash). Both kill early.
