Edited for accuracy.
True...it's the straight ones who need generally need a fashion clue.
I mean, even jeans and t-shirts can potentially look stylish and sexy...just NOT the way they're worn 99.98% of the time D:

DT Factoid: When we took the BIL to AC (bachelor party), on two separate occasions I was somehow ID'ed by woman as "the gay friend" (because they were all dressed like schmoes and I was reasonably fashionable).

Hahahaha :D

Second hand? Classy.

We have a good friend (from London by way of Cyprus) who owns a high end consignment shop, and a good majority of the stuff she gets in is nearly to completely new.

Nothing wrong with a $1500 D&G skirt for $150 :)

It's mainly high line: D&G, Pucci, Vera Wang, Hermes, LV, etc.

I get that all the time..
What's wrong with taking pride in your appearance eh!?
Just because I don't wear trainers and bloody tracksuits..

LOL! This is weird, must be a non-melbourne thing. But everyone here in melbourne, dresses well. I mean guys spending an hour on their hair, then putting on their $150 (au dollars) retro jackets, plus emo or fluro pants, fluro headband and converse/skate/basketball/ shoes... or thongs.

Am I getting through to anyone?? Does anyone understand the picture I'm attempting to paint!?

What's a consignment shop?
Maybe you should cut down on the expensive clothes, save some money and buy a clue? OoOoOhh Buuurn!

I've been waiting to say something like that...

Vera Wang?
Since when was that classy o.o

And they sell..clothes..that somebody..else..has worn...ugh.

Yeah, Vera Wang who makes some amazing wedding gowns (my wife's was a VW original that was shown at a show in Miami and then purchased before getting "racked") and some interesting one-offs (really if you're not into high line, you probably don't know).

And please take a moment get off your high horse - I didn't say it was for everyone - much of the merchendise is brand new.

Whoooaa =p
Did you just say I'm not into highline stuff?
Very wrong XD I love all my expensive clothes..I only ever get..expensive clothes.

My mum has vera wang stuff, I just never realised it was particularly fancy.

Well there you go, we both made incorrect assumptions :D

If you have at least one Ungaro jacket, I'll even give you a bonus point :)
