Has the Wii slowed down to the point of it being unbearable? When I first set it up it took forever to download the update it needed, but what I found helpful is to change the channel on your wireless router to either 1 or 11.

Your sensor bar may have shifted. Make sure it's parallel to the edge of your TV and that it won't move.

I get mine tomorrow

Well at last my Wii is almost here. After ordering it on the 28 December 2006 and being told that I would get delivery on the 3 Jan 07 I thought GREAT:thumbsup: However as my order was still showing as "Awaiting to be dispatched" I phoned and was told that my order had been lost and I would have to re-order.

I't amazing how quick you can get one (if they are in stock) when you complain. So my new order gets delivered on 05 Jan 07. So thats 1 full day off work and lets see what I can break first with the Wii remote :p

I've been on the hunt since christmas. For the past two days I have been sitting outside/around ebgames waiting for their ups truck to come in. On tuesday I waited for about 7.5 hours because I got there early so I was first in line if any but nothing came. Wednesday I got there a little after the store opened and waited till 4:00 for the truck to come in and sure enough I had my wii with zelda minutes later. All this waiting was well worth it.

Pre orderd mine from game weeks before launch only to be told I missed a phonecall and so was taken off list ;(

Pre ordered from gamestation, was told by the wife that they had phones and that I was to late for launch and would prolly have it in 1 to 2 weeks time.

Then the wife told me thay they didnt have any for me.

Comes Xmas day and I open a pressie only to find its a wii, the wife had only received it on day 5 after launch, cheeky blighter had hiden it from me ;).

How happy was I? wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii happy indeed.

Got Zelda and GT PRO, returned GT PRO and swaped for RAYMAN instead ;) and I only ended up paying £20 for Rayman too ;)

Finally. I broke myself free of the Wii for a little break and figured I'd share the story.

I work pretty unhappy hours on key days, I have to be at work by 5am. So that meant the launch, any camping out Sunday mornings (yes 5am there too), pretty much any waiting in line for a Wii wasn't posssible. So I stuck myself to searching during the weekdays here and there on a lunch break or on a precious day off trying to time it just right to meet a shipment.

The first time I set out to get a Wii I ran down to Toys R Us on a Sunday around 3-ish. I asked if any came in and the sales rep pointed at a couple just ahead of me in line and said "There's the last two right there." Being the kind hearted soul that I am I blurted out "Are you f-ing kidding me?" without even thinking about where I was. Head hung low I started to turn around and so began the famous counter to whenever I ask for a Wii... "You want a PS3? We have some of those still." :)

Of course being so close I hit up all the surrounding stores for a chance, but no luck. For the next two weeks I hit about 10 stores in person each time I ran out, for we'll say about 8 trips. The counter-question kept haunting me everwhere I went. Hell, Best Buy had twenty PS3's sitting in a display stack almost every time.

Getting sick of the run around I signed up for itrackr yesterday after hunting and being told "Nope, UPS didn't bring any on this truck" and not 30 minutes later I had a text/email that the same target that told me UPS allready came had twenty of them. Racing over there doing 15 over the speed limit I asked for a Wii with the biggest grin on my face... he looked at me and told me I have the best timing, they just opened the boxes maybe 10 minutes ago. (They were still unpacking them at the counter)

Long story over, I walked out with a Wii and Zelda trembling with anticipation to get home. I've put in 10 hours of TP already.
