Teleportation is indeed possible, currently. If I remember correctly, rather than teleporting the actual molecule, it instead teleports it's 'information' or it's 'structure', and forms the molecule on the other side. I'm sure Napalm may be able to explain that.

Yeah, it's 'information' that is transferred between particles.

Unfortunately, I don't exactly understand how the process works (my knowledge of quantum information or entanglement is limited), and what I do know is difficult to explain in layman's terms. But I can tell you it's nothing like teleporters in science fiction, and it would not allow any sort of faster-than-light travel of information.
