Reserving games is not full proof, at least at Gamestop it isn't, It depends on how many copies they get in, if they have 543 reserves and they're only getting in 230 SSBB, depending on how busy the store is, some might not get there SSB for a few days, if not weeks after the release.
OP, Even if Wal-mart allows pre-orders/reservations, there would be one problem to me that would remain, since it is a new store, it might be busy, depending on location, I would go to another Wal-mart in the location other than the new because the other people will be at the new one and not the lesser newer Wal-marts, so they might not be as busy.
