there probably was some guy named jesus preaching religion. but the "miracles" are just over exaggereated lies meant to draw in more followers. its impossible to raise the dead, to walk on water or to turn water into wine. they're all just lies told to get more followers

It is possible to be both agnostic and atheist- I am. That would mean you claim to know whether God exists, but don't believe he does. Don't feel like you have to "pick a side", because it's your own choice to make.
Sorry to hear that your mum got mad at you. I find it sad that a lot of parents can't accept their children becoming atheists.
If those fire and brimstone preachers are right, then all the cool people are going to Hell.
That was Mary Magdalene, not the Virgin Mary. The Bible doesn't actually say Magdalene was a prostitute, people just assumed that for some reason.

yes it is, and anyways, are you 100% sure that evolution is real? i know religon isnt 100% percent but are you 100% sure?

Sorry Boz, Shadow's right. Evolution has mountains of evidence in support of it, has been tested and observed, and is supported by practically every biologist in the scientific community.
Wait, wait, wait, you won't accept evolution because you think it's not 100% proven, but you're willing to concede that religion isn't 100% proven? And you don't think that's a bit hypocritical?
