Which character are you best with?

yes i do but that is just words and i usually go back in my room and test some out and i do figure out that your right and yes a smash ball is a move that is different for each character and i was never tought that pros dont use items and i bet u used i items when it first came out and u cant say u didnt just to see wat they r like and i only get one stock per round due to items so no i dont depend on them for a win i dont need them bbut the computer also use the items so its a tie still i do know wat im talking about to its not nonsense it makes perfect sense u just dont understand it from my point view it is just right

It doesn't matter if both players use items. It's still a gamble, more proof you're not a pro. What you're saying to support items doesn't make sense. Take this for example.

Bom-omb items are on. One player is Ike, the other is any character. Both are at a high damage% the non-Ike player mispredicts when approaching Ike with an attack, and Ike starts an F-smash. If the F-smash lands, the enemy is a high enough % to KO them for the win. Except, a Bom-Omb forms right above the Ike when he starts to swing. He hits the bomb, and dies, while the enemy is out of range of the sudden appearance.

Is that fair? No, it's not. Ike would of won, but due to the randomness and gamble of items, he lost. A Bom-Omb appearing out of nowhere does NOT involve skill in any way. If this was a tournament, this player could of just lost out on 1000s of $ if it was say, the regionals. Is that fair? No.

No, I didn't use items when I first started playing. I used to play Melee, FD every time, no items. Once I started Brawl, I also played no items. I tried new items in training mode, but I didn't use them in actual matches. Items are for n00bs and people who rely on them, really.

If you were never taught pros don't use items, you're obviously not a pro. Sorry. Oh.. and the reason I don't understand your point of view, is because your point of view is that of an amatuer, no offense. I havn't been an amatuer since the early days of melee, I can't understand what doesn't make sense in the eyes of an expert.

i dont under stand and thats just my ideas and i was never taught so how does that make me a non pro that wouldnt be fair but i would spice up the match a bit ecspecislly in reginals but thats the thing your not an expert u think u r though an i know im not apro but im almost there an dyes u did se items but if u use them then it way better but thats just one if my ideals and i have a perspective just like u and use items aswell as moves say 1to10 so every time i use a item its ten hits (more than likely a KO)so u see i use them only when neccisary like if there was a bom-omb an dthe person has 150% then thats just aiding the enevidelble

EDIT:also if he was doing that attack it popped up right in front of him it has a shiels for 1-2 seconds and it would have to drop from a distance

As I said before, the bom-omb thing I presented is undeniable. Items are luck, and because of what I said you can't really counter with anything to prove items are legal and fair. You've lost that part of the debate, I assure you that much.

If you were never taught, that means you don't know how to be a pro, or the knowledge of a pro. It's perfectly fair for you to not be a pro, your logic is rather.. childish and flawed. A pro = an extremely great Brawler, as well as someone who has outstanding knowledge of the game. So far, I've seen you lack the knowledge part. Thus, you aren't a pro.

..I honestly can't read half of what you're saying, please use proper grammar. It's killing my eyes.. but I assume you said I used items, when I said I certainly didn't. Lol.. when I said I didn't I meant I didn't.

..You, spice up the match? In regionals? XD! My friend, I have perhaps a twenty times as much knowledge and skill as you, and I'd simply get murdered in such a high level tournament. You have no idea how good a pro is. I am not a pro since they are the highest level of players, but I am an expert. You sir, are not.

Oh, and.. if I'm not an expert, feel free to prove me wrong with logic. How am I not an expert?

first a expert is a person with an extent knowledge of the game and thats the only thing i was never tought, but do u play for the win or the number of kills, i have a pretty good knowledge of the game but i dont live and breath the game though like u sound like u do, i am an exelant brawler, childish and flawed no it has a couple of flaws like yours does and childish no way, knowledge mabey a little more like weight if thier floatty or not but skill no way, but i have the makings of a pro so i must get to it before 2010, i will battle u before then i will assure u that and then we will see whose better CK

EDIT:edited version for ck and all others reading this conversation

Well, it's obvious you don't have extensive knowledge of the game, I've already proved this by correcting.. well, nearly all of what you said about Brawl before this debate. You're clearly not an expert in that way.

..After you said that, I have no idea what you're saying... Try reposting the last half more carefully? >.>; Also, if you really think you're an expert, have a team battle against 2 level 9 enemies, they have to be different character, on Final Destination while you use any character of your choice. No items, no time limit. If you can save a replay of beating them, or getting close to beating them, without spamming or any cheap strategies, I'll recognize you as a pro.

Remember, it has to be a team battle with both lv. 9 CPUs on the same team against you, otherwise that's cheating. No camping either.

u know wat i will ill get it done now so ill be back in a few but wat do u consider almost winning and how may stock

3 stock for each character, no stamina, no handicaps. Damage ratio 1.0. Almost winning basically means if you're in the lead by stocks and damage.

btw, your gonna be spending a long time with those Lv. 9's on Final Destination. I've done it before, but it takes skill and knowledge, something which you obviously lack...mostly since you still have'nt posted a victory...

Anyways, my best is between Ganondorf and Luigi...they are both so much fun...

Toon Link is mah snizzles, even if I don't own Brawl any more :p

I sub Toon myself, I can't remember how long I've been using him.. Probably since early March '08. Used to be a main, but my tastes in characters progressed over time and he became a sub.
