man i hate knowing there are surprises at the end of the week and stuff, it makes the week go by so much longer........

and i want it to go by quickly so i can brawl..

there is no surprise... ign had there podcast this week and didnt say 1 thing about it. To me that means no such thing. if there was a possibility they would have said something about it. even saying they have no idea if its true. but i read the summery somone posted and it said nothing about a surprise.... we were fooled...

i agree. this thread wont go away though. people will still speculate. I heard there is a meeting in Japan for nintendo Oct 10th.. people will keep this thread going to see if there is a surprise during that meeting. i say forget the surprise.. lets just look foward to SSBB coming out..... if anything comes within a few months, great. but for now, lets not get our hopes up otherwise we will keep on waiting for this "surprise". I am dissapointed, i thought we would have gotten something.

Or was it some sort of Gimmick?

A suprise would be nice, but really all I want for the Wii
are a few FPS Games.

First Person Shooters, maybe with online play.
That'll make me happy.

Uhm....

Technically the "end of September" would be 11:59pm Sept 30th (Sunday), or more realistically, October 1st on a Monday. Since Nintendo likes to announce everything on Monday anyways, I bet if it is to happen, we should expect it on Monday.

I agree fully Top 8 suprise hopes:
1.check mii out channel with mii updates
2.Brawl channel except with demos(like the metroid prime 3 channel)
3.online comunication
4.any downloadable game demos(super mario galaxy!!!)
5.any new channel(maybe one where you can play mini-games with peeps online)
6.New hardware(DVD's)
7.First wii ware games
8.new N64 games
lets wait and see

geez. G4 didnt promise the surprise to be about Wii did it? Did it even announce it about gaming O_O even though it probably will, there may be no connection between wii surprise and the announcement. I'm still waiting for it. but what if... Smash Bros online was the surprise.... it happened not really late September but... O_O that would be terrible ;p I already "knew" it would be online =( not much of a surprise.

yea g4 said they're announcement is about gameing because as they put it "the biggest gaming announcement in history" so it means something with games but i doubt its with the wii
