...Back on topic, the surprise doesn't mean that something has to be released into the market (many say it will be the check mii channel). I think that they may just give us a preview of something, a video of the unfinished mii channel.

So, Reggie does claim there's a surprise, that guy who posted earlier in here said that someone interviewed him and he didn't know what to say...that guy just wanted to make us nervous.

There is a couple of places on the web that made mention that the Nintendo N-sider forums "closed page" could in fact be giving clues...

Nintendo is working on a major overhaul to Nintendo.com to support the continued success of Nintendo DS and Wii. As we prepare for this huge site update, Nintendo must unfortunately close the Nintendo NSider Forums message boards indefinitely beginning Sept. 17, 2007.

Personally aside from random guessing I believe this would is in fact the most solid clue to what we should expect. I am guessing it could be in the lines of a major overhaul to the network support of the Wii, as the users continue to verbally speak out about of lack of seamless online functionality and friendlier "friend" support.

If I had to guess that would be it, and suspect to hear something from Nintendo's Wii-kly Update for the month of October.

It's Nintendo's coined term for dumping new stuff on us, something they do Weekly. Mostly these update consists of new Virtual Console games however once in awhile they sneak other information in a chain event starting with that "Wii-kly Update" thing.

I wouldn't read to far into it, because it won't take you far. It's all part of Nintendo's PR scheme just like Apple's iAnnoying or McDonald's McStupid. A business fashion trend if you will.

The Wii-kly Update usually falls on Monday however.
