My bet is that it's going to come on the 10th of October. It's not too far after September, and nintendo is having their big meeting. So maybe... I doubt it's a firmware update. My guess is new colors or a Wii with DVD capabilities...

My HOPES are:
720p support
Headset

i doubt that they would do 720p support because it would probably fry the CPU! but i really need a headset but i am getting anxious about it! it better come quick!

whats is the suprize...? what plese tell me i am going crazy its like knowing your new copy of ddr is at game stop and you have to work and cant get it untill tomaro...it was worth the wait thought its lots of fun..!

I wasn't saying it would be 720p support... I was just hoping for that. I know it's a long shot. Though I think I read somewhere that the Wii could possibly support 720p with a firmware update. But since it lacks the HDMI cables, it wouldn't be able to output 1080i or 1080p.

I seriously doubt that it will be any sort of graphics update, after nintendo saying for so long that 'it isnt important'. I'm thinking a new channel we havnt heard about, or something to do with the virtual console- maybe RARE games on VC? *crosses fingers*

Well its officially saturday here in Europe. No flashing blue light. Off to bed maybe ill wake up and the new chat, mii and demo channels will have been announced as will a head set. Although if this is the case i will also be waking up to flying pigs and the end of time .

And besides, it would do no good. The DS has a built in microphone and speakers, you can do voice chat without a headset (and games had voice chat before the headset was even released).
