i just wanted to say a couple things...

for a forum that's so "anti-fanboy" there sure are a lot of nintendo fanboys here. it seems everytime one of these threads comes up (i made one a week or so ago) everybody jumps in and says the 360 isnt as good as the wii, blah blah blah (wich is untrue). really, get off the kids back people (atomicb mostly) he doesnt like his wii? neither did i after 8 months! it happens. some people just prefer online gaming and awesome graphics over six year old technology.

and to the original poster, 360 would be a good choice but dont rule out the PS3 jsut yet. i got one recently after selling my wii and i gotta say, it's pretty sweet. theres some awesome games like unreal tournament and haze coming out soon too. lol today my friend bougth a 360 and was like "omg i cant wait for haze to come out!!!111!!!1ONE!!" and i was just like, well i'll be playing it and you wont cause it's exclusive! lol

I would suggest resident evil 4. i'm playing that and TP right now (I switch over once I overplay one of em) and RE4 is a GREAT game. I honestly didnt like it at first, but after about 20 mins and getting used to the controls i have trouble putting it down.

also the need for speeds are pretty damn cool if you ask me. I dont know why ppl dislike the controls I think they are fun!

Your thread title is very misleading. Your title says you will no longer have the wii, but in truth you're just buying a 360. (And there's nothing wrong with that)

Not saying I disagree with your post but Unreal 3 isn't an exclusive.

I don't get why everyone is jumping all over him. I don't blame him a bit. Look at the line-up for Wii the rest of this year. BORING. He didn't say he would never play it again, he's just getting the 360 because his Wii isn't doing it for him atm. It's not like he won't change his mind next year, when tons of amazing games will be coming out for Wii.


Power to you for buying a 360...I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it.

Not once, ever, have I said that the Wii is better than the 360. Ever. The 360's graphics are amazing, the online is genius.

I say go get a 360 and have fun I mean there are lots of good genres , shooting, racing, sports,adventure, rpg and all that stuff but seriously if you came here to cause trouble leave and join the 360 chat.com so we dont have to hear from you. the wii is good and I admit that it has lower ghraphics but it has its own advantages. good luck with the 360 and RROD.

Don't be so blind. He's telling us that he's not interested in his Wii anymore. Want to help? Suggest something. Are you going to keep posting senseless prattle that helps no one? Get out.

In this case, all the posts before yours simply tried to reinforce the entertainment value of the Wii without any digs at competing consoles (feel free to double check, I looked over them pretty quickly).

I think anyone with a little psychological acuity sees the underlying rationale with posts like this.

I'd actually say it was very common. I mean, if you bought a 360 in its first 4 months of existence (Points to self) than you, in all likelyhood got RROD. Now, I think if you bought a 360 today, it would be considered very rare. (For you pokemon buffs, that's a Star card)
