Hi guys, my first update for my Monotype Run.

First Thing, my in-game mom was asking me questions and told me to look for Bianca so i can get my starter(which is gonna be Snivy because it's a Grass Monotype Run). I went outside to go look for Bianca what i meet my rival. We were talking for a little bit, then i was out on the road again but with my rival. A few minutes later, me and my rival found Bianca, got my starter which is a Snivy(i've nicknamed him Leaf) and got the Pokedex. i've then ended up in my first rival battle, won and got to level six. After the battle, Bianca led me to the Pokemon Center where i've healed up my pokemon and got some Poke Balls. Then, i've got Running Shoes from my mom and got the town map. Now, i'm on my way to Route 19.

That's it for the update, See you later

Second update for my Monotype Run.

First, Bianca teached me how to catch Pokemon and i grinded up my Snivy to level 8. Then, i've met Alder and got an offer to train under his wing. Later, i've met him at his house and said i have to deliver a town map to my rival. Now on Route 20, i've faced some trainers, gained a level and got to Floccesy Ranch. Then, I've beaten my rival for a second time, delivered the town map and found two breeders who have lost a Herdier. After facing some trainers and getting my Snivy up some levels, we found the Herdier getting kicked by a Team Plasma Grunt, but he ran away. Then, we get out of Floccesy Ranch.

TEAM UPDATE
Member 1: Leaf the Snivy, Quirky Nature, Level 11.

That's it for this update, PokeJon out.

If you're so inclined, aye. Generally ain't encouraged to do so, but if you're bored with a Challenge for whatever reason you're free t' end it preemptively.

1st Scramble/Moveset Update on Black:

Well, I began my travels with a Snivy, for........I don't really know. I just picked it randomly. Then after fighting and winning (though the match with Cheren was a close call), I set out to Juniper's lab, before I got interrupted by Cheren to go see what's keeping Bianca. I went there and after some............development scene? I went to the lab with my two enemies- I mean friends. I was offered to nickname this thing I will never use, but denied it for obvious reasons. After that Juniper showed us how to catch a Pokemon and after Bianca's instruction of her stupid game, Cheren and Bianca left, leaving me be for a while.

So, I begin my search for my 1st team member, a Lillipup, which took about 3 encounters to find. After catching this little guy, I decided to nickname him Snoopy for fun. Snoopy is proving to be a very good Pokemon and made grinding a breeze. So after Snoopy reached level 7, I was on my way to end this stupid game (which I knew would be a tie). Then Bianca announced this a three-way draw, and Cheren said some random fact, I'm not sure was relevant. Then Juniper called us on the Xtransciever telling us to go to the Pokemon Center. Bianca went, but Cheren decided not to. I wish I could do the same like Cheren, but alas, I could not.

Then I receive my Pokemon Center tour, which is mostly Juniper saying something along the lines of "Heal your Pokemon to give me a laugh", so I do, but not for that purpose. After Professor Juniper left, I went to go deposit Snivy into the PC. While I was depositing Snivy, I saw that Snoopy's ability was Pick Up and that he had an Antidote. I was happy, because Pick-Up, while not useful in battle, is very useful outside of battle. I also bought two potions, while I was there. So after that, I walk outside and see a man named Ghetsis giving a speech to liberate Pokemon, which I pretty much skipped over.

After that, I met a man named N who wanted to fight me with his Purrloin. A typical dog-cat rivalry between Snoopy and his Purrloin went down, with Snoopy coming out the winner. He then left. Then my in-game mom calls me over the Xtransceiver and after some waste of time on that, she's right behind me and hands me running shoes, which will make things faster. Then, I just beat random trainers awesomely with Snoopy. When I thought it was over, Bianca came challenging me to a battle, begging. I decided to take her on (not like I had a choice). It was an easy match, especially thanks to Snoopy's level and the fact he barely took any damage from the other trainers.

I then enter Striaton City, running straight into Clyde, only to find out, he was in the Trainer School. So I ran there, but apparently I must have "passed him" and I, instead, fight Cheren as a warm up. To praise me or something, Cheren gives me a few oran berries and I'm off to the gym, only for Cilan to tell me to train in the Dreamyard, which I do. There I met a weak trainer whom I defeated, then expecting another weak guy, but it was..............Youngster Joey. His top percentage Rattata (or well, in this game, Patrat) was enough to make people watching shiver, until Snoopy stood up to his fear of Joey and his Pokemon and KO'd them all. Then I grabbed a Panpour from this random person, and placed it in the PC.

After, I walk into the gym and beat a few trainers, as well as receive some water from Clyde, and I'm ready to face one of the trio. Once I arrive, they perform a dance and settle, that I'd be facing Chili. Chili's Lillipup was no match for Snoopy, however when Pansear was brought in, it was a fairly close battle. But, in the end, Snoopy and I emerged victorious and received the badge, along with the TM, Work Up. Work Up is one of the moves Snoopy needed to learn, so I obviously gave him Work Up over Leer. Then I met Fennel, who gave me the HM Cut (which I needed to use, so I took out Snivy to cut ,then after that I put him back in the PC). I battled Plasma Grunts who were kicking a Munna, Snoopy evolved (yay) and gave some Dream Mist to Fennel (who gave me the C-Gear). Bianca wasn't worth the mention in the Fennel Sidequest thing (thanks for the Plasma Grunt help by standing there scared), so I cut her out of that part. I'm about to go transfer over an Eevee egg, which will be fun hatching (not.....). Anyways, I'm done with this huge update (mainly for doing this all at once), so yeah. Don't know what to do for a closing, so I'll just leave it here.

My updates (wait... what updates? >_>) might be of similar length if I weren't a lazy bastard. Writtin' them Pokemon of the Week articles kills my motivation to create walls o' text as well.

Well this is embarrassing, I kinda lost my black, so I'll start my challenge as soon as I can locate it, or just be too lazy to look for it and buy a new one. Oh and Splash_King( I kinda remember you had another username), your hard drive issues must be contagious cause mine crashed last week.

Strength
Dig
Swords Dance
Crunch

Can you give me my movesets for my Darmanitan and Houndoom? You can give egg moves if you want. I'll be breeding my own pokemon for this challenge.

Daramanitan:

-Work Up
-Hammar Arm
-Flare Blitz
-Fire Punch

OR:

Zenamanitan:

-Belly Drum
-Flare Blitz
-Flamethrower
-Psychic

Houndoom:

-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam (TM)
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower

TM 22 (Solarbeam) ain't obtainable until the post-game, sadly. Referenced my disappointment with said issue when I gave Jordan's Magmortar a moveset.

Protip for anyone who's makin' a moveset: whenever assigning a TM, check to see if it's obtainable by the end of the game by looking up the specific TM (not the move) on Bulbapedia. It'l list the location it's obtained at in every game the TM appears in.

Like 'Karp said, can't give me solarbeam. Sucks because it gives great coverage to lots of weaknesses I'll have. I'm not using Zenmanitan so I'll take the first moveset. Houndoom need a dark type attack though.
