Which should I start with?

I'd personally recommend the seventh installment (titled simply as "Fire Emblem"). T'was the first FE game I've ever played and is what got me into the series; strategy RPGs as a whole too. I'd say both it and 8 ("Sacred Stones") are good startin' points to give the series a shot.
