LOLZ! Ive noticed that there are only a few threads that are of any interest nowadays. Theres just nothing to talk about.

Until you get to the rocky part where eventually there's a waterfall, it's not so pretty.

While I agree that we shouldn't fight the flow, I don't think we should happily be carried along. At the rate we're at right now, things aren't going to be pretty, especially when the huge titles hit shelves in 3rd/4th quarter this year. It's going to be INSANE. I would prefer something get done quickly before this huge crowd of clueless morons come along. As to what should be done, i'm not sure. That's what this thread is supposed to solve.

About this thread being a big argument, nah. Luckily, Wiichat's been a lot more..."debatish" recently (to use poor grammar >.>). I love debating, so this is going well for me.

LMAO at all the people sucking up to Shift xD (no insult to you personally, Shift).

A good forum has a fair share of debate. You are probably the most well spoken 14yr old i have met, so you can understand this forum can be educational for some of the kiddies to think before they speak.

Do we really want it to be filled with "whats your favorite yoshi color" posts? Or "what kind of positions do you lay your wii?" or even "what wiimote color is your favorite, white or .. white?" threads. I mean thats what we see a lot of, kiddie threads. Pokemon up the shang hai.

Between childish threads, and console hating, its was bad. At least when I came here thats all I saw. The PS3 section was a section where every single post was about hating sony. It got to the point where it was a circle jerk forum of hate and ignorance. If i wanted to see mindless zombies I would watch night of the living dead instead.

So in my opinion this forum has become better. There is a lack of Fanboy responses. Why? because people are affraid to say stupid stuff. Thats a good thing, i means, they think before they type.

Now lets also look at those LONG news articles people post. If this forum is posting intelligent articles, news and all, then we should expect a mature and reasonable community.

We should be free to debate, post news, discuss and laugh. Forums are supposed to also be entertaining, you need a lil conflict here and there for that.

If you want to talk about how the forum can get better, we can start by talking about the themes associated with it. Im sure the bright white scares off some people. Multiple Color themes, some shuffling of structure and a myspace like approach to the profiles would go a long way. Even better if it turned more into a all around gaming forum than a console specific one. Meaning a merger between ps3chat and Wiichat, creating a portal that shares news and promotes both. Of course That would bring a bit of conflict at first, but then again, it would be nice and entertaining for sure.

Even if wiichat can support a wiiblog. Notice how wiichat shows up a lot on google, well if you let users blog, and put adds and affilate links on those blogs, Mr. i0n can be making a nice profit while owning Google with high ranking and search engine optimization. Merge all the forums into a game chat portal, and its possible to have the next major gaming website on his hands. Which can lead to a nice income and lots of possibilities.

Loving that idea. And again, i'm not very informed about the forum biz, but would this possibly cost more money? If so, that could be what's holding i0n back.

Wiichat shows up a ton on g00gle. If you find a user, type their name in google and click search, one of the 1st links is connecting to a post of theirs on Wiichat.com.

If Wiichat ended up becoming a huge "IGN-like" website, that would be incredible. Plus, i'm sure the vets would get some perks.

1) Spamming is when the post is totally worthless, that entire post was about dissecting Shift's post and agreeing/debating with him.

2) It's not flaming, because it was sarcasm. I was making fun of you because of the whole ordeal that happened before hand. Report me if you'd like, I have an explanation and nothing would happen anyway.

And let's just throw #3 in there as well:
