Meanwhile near Ecruteak City there is a comotion going on and then all of a sudden an explosion happened, it was caused by Siesis. "Now that is an entrance. If that didn't get his attention I don't know what will." All of a sudden he was hit with a Quick Attack in the back, it sent him into the next tree a few meters away. He got up furious that an enemy would be cowardly about attacking him. 4 Sythers stood ready to attack in a moments notice. 2 Sythers go to each side of him while the other 2 position themselves to strike. "Come on there is no need to be like this I was gonna fight you 4 anyways. So try this." He jumped up just in time to dodge 2 Slash attacks that collided. He landed in a tree a Syther flew up to him with a Slash ready. "Leaf Blade!" Siesis parried the attack and while he was point blank he an Energy Ball into its face blasting it back onto the ground. He barely had time to block the next Syther. He fell out of the tree landed and noticed all 4 were charging at him. "Well maybe I bit off more than I could chew. Oh well its not like they're gonna let me walk away without a fight." He readied his Leaf Blades to fight them. "Well lets get this party started!" Then he charged at them.

Maxis woke up his was still exhausted but he wanted to make sure eveyone was okay. He noticed Tyre and Storm were treating the Areodactyl. He wlked over to them when he got there he noticed that they didn't have a lot of berries left to treat him. "Here are some of my Sitrus Berries." He placed 5 Sitrus Berries next to Storm and left them to go talk to Raine and Jett about what they were gonna do next.

Other than his weariness at the many battles he had taken part in that day, Hako was not badly injured. Going up to the Aerodactyl, he offered his last potion.
"Here. Those berries help, but you should probably use this too. I'm Hako."

Jet watched as the others slowing gather around him and the Aerodycle. Seeing as the new pokemon had plenty of food, Jet decided to give him something else. He grabbed a bottle from his backpack and used Aqua Tail to fill it with water. He handed to water to the Aerodyctle and spoke, "I'm Jet, I'm the one who had to carry your stoney ass out of there." Jet smiled hoping to loosing the mood.

After hearing Tyre speak, Jet wasn't convinced. "Tyre, I think we should at least move off the path some. Those guys are coming back, and they know exactly where to find us."

Just then Jet noticed Maxis collapsed in exhusten. He jogged over to him and lifting his head up, giving him some water. "Are you all right?"

Raine had just popped the last of his 3 sitrus berries into his mouth, when he looked back to the group. Now that this bothersome Aerodactyl was healthy, they could move. "Guys" he said to anybody who would listen. "Guys!" he said louder, "What we should do, is move left, down route 42 towards Ecruteak, but cut off the path, and head south, towards Violet City. Once there, its a clear shot to the ruins. Much quicker, and we'll be hidden from Zigaram's minions once we're off the beaten path." He looked around. This route worked, but they were all so infatuated with Tyre because he was nice. Nice doesn't solve problems, nice doesn't save lives, and nice doesn't lead a rebellion. The sooner they learned to listen to the smarter ones, the better. Raine looked at Forma. Forma was smart as well, if he could convnice Forma of his route, surely the rest would agree. Raine walked to Forma and explained the Route, in as much detail as possible. "Well, what do you think?" he said to Forma. "It makes more than enough sense! Help me convince the others". He rolled his eyes, thinking about the others, who were still probably drooling over this Aerodactyl Pokemon. Hes going to be annoying to have around, thought Raine. What if we need to hie or be discreet?. He ignored his own question and looked to Forma for an answer.

"Yeah i'm alright right a little tireed but other wise a okay." Maxis stood up and started to continue toward Mahagony Town. Maxis headed into the woods toward their new destination.

"Crush Claw!" The attack hit the Syther in the head knocking it out. "Well i'm finally done with these 4." Just then he noticed a Salenmence flying above him. He hid in a tree hoping it wouldn't notice. He over heard a couple of pokemon complaining about a rebel group near Mahagony Town as they flew on into the distance. "A rebel group near Mqahagony. I guess I better meet with them, after all I could use help against Zigaram." Siesis was injured pretty good but not enough to hinder him on a trip. He started jumping tree from tree toward Mahagony. "If they were in a fight they'll probally head to the town so i'll meet them there." And he picked up the pace eger to meet the rebels.

Jet looked at Raine and back to the others, "That's what I just said, we're sitting ducks here. Tyre your the biggest out of all of us, so you should help the Aerodyctle. If he can't keep up, we'll have to carry him. I suggest we keep marching through part of the night. I know everyone is tired, but he need to get as far away from here as possible before Zigaram's pokemon come back."

Jet wasn't sure how the others would react. He himself wasn't that tired, but he hadn't done any fighting today. The Squirtle looked over at Raine, as if to ask which way the route is.

Takai & Kensei

They were flying through the sky. Kensei had fallen asleep and Takai was only staying up to order the Salamence. "Hey! Land somewhere ok?" The Manic nodded and slowly glided to a clearing. Takai grabbed Kensei and slid down the Salamence. As soon as he hit the ground though immense pain shot through his leg and he stumbled, dropping Kensei on his head. "OW! Watch what you're doing! Huh? Are you ok Takai?" Takai was still on the ground cringing in pain. "My leg. It hurts." Kensei quickly looked around and saw some Oran berries growing on a nearby tree. "Thunderbolt!" he yelled and blasted the tree. The shock ran through it and detatched a few berries. He quickly ran over and grabbed them. He gave a couple to Takai so he would heal up better. "And you can grab them yourself." He said, looking at Salamence. It simply grunted then started to go off and feed by itself.

"So Takai, are you ok?" Takai got onto his feet. There was still some pain, but he could stand without a problem. "I should be fine. A few more berries couldn't hurt though. What about you and the Manic?" Kensei sat down and took a bite of a berry. "Well, like you, a few more berries couldn't hurt. I'll be fine though and so should he." Kensei jerked his head towards the Salamence which just ignored them and kept eating. Its wing was completely healed now. "So what happened? Why were you two so beat up before you even got to me?" Kensei punched the ground in anger. "That stupid Aerodactyl. Whether its with the rebels or was hungry, it just attacked us about a minute after we split up. We fought back but it just wouldn't go down." Takai grabbed another berry. "Huh, well I tried to bluff the rebels into staying put by claiming I put traps all around them. Apparently they ignored me as I was 'no threat' and they were about to leave when I signaled you."

"Ok, but now how do we strike back? The Ryhorn has Lightning Rod which limits my options, and the Porygon2 and Riolu pose a problem for you. The others seemed more like sheer annoyences than dangers." Takai nodded. "Yeah, and before you arrived I noticed a couple things. The Ryhorn and Slowpoke both seem to be trying to claim leadership and both appear intelligent. The Porygon2 has good aim and the Riolu is fast. If the Aerodactyl joins them then we'll have to signal for reinforcements. You two barely handled it and I don't think I'll tip the balence much." Kensei nodded. "What we need is to scout them first. See there strengths and weaknesses then exploit a blindspot. If necessary we can either pick up Zigaram supporters at a town, or plea to Master himself for strong troops. Either way we need to watch the rebels first."

Takai nodded, "You grab some berries. I'll check on the Manic and then we'll head out." Takai walked over to the Salamence. All its wounds were healed but it may still be exhausted. "Hey, are you alright?" The pokemon just grunted. "Will you be able to fly some more?" Salamence shook his head no. "Would one night of rest do for you?" It smiled then rested its head and immeaditely fell asleep. Kensei meanwhile had Thunderpunched the tree. The hit caused every berry it held to drop to the ground. "Well, we've got food."

"The best route, the only one worth going on is the other way!" Raine said. There was not much he could do without more support and was still waiting on Forma giving his consent.

-Samlin-
dpiconani155.gif

------
Samlin had been traveling for hours, following the map he had been given. The coordinates he had on the paper were not far away now, and he was already envisioning the rebel group. He needed some reason for his journey, some purpose, that his parents could not provide. He continued to walk. Clouds were in the sky, dark and gray. He looked at the map one more time. It seemed 5 minutes more North, the all he had to do was cut through some trees and he would reach the coordinates on the paper, which he hoped would be the rebel camp.

As Samlin looked at the sky again, he noticed the sky getting even darker. I have to find shelter quickly, before it starts raining. I can't be out in the rain long, I'm a fire Pokemon, and rain has always made me weak. He started to walk faster. He saw dark spots on the dirt road, and he heard thunder in the distance, and it began to pour. Samlin started running until he reached the trees. He continued through the trees as the water hit the now dwindling flames on his back. He came upon an open clearing, with a beach area. He looked down at the map, which was now damp and breaking apart, along with the coordinates, which were smudged and unreadable. He was able to see the red X on the dampened map as the area in which he had just arrived.

He ran around, seeing a ransacked camp with little to no supplies left. "Hello!" he yelled frantically, the ran feeling like anvils on his ever-weakening body. "Is anybody here?" After receiving no answer, he ran around, looking for any sign. He was starting to sway back and forth, until he felt a hard crunch under his feet.

He looked down to see a black pile on the ground. Next to it was a message written in what seemed to be charcoal or ash. The message read The Ruins of Alph followed by - Rebel Group Samlin saw the message, but he did not have the strength or the bearings to process further. The Ruins of Alph were his next stop, but for now, he had to find shelter. He began running through the trees. He heard a voice, or voices faint in the distance.

"It's nothing...Nothing you....worried in. You're destined...right now, you're delicate, and...here. But...really important...need...help!"

Samlin was running towards the voices, his vision getting dark. Black blotches were clouding his eyes and before he knew it he fell, running, onto the saturated wet mud. He lay there, the flames on his black looking like mere embers, and he lay there. Passed out, he had nothing but the trees to protect him from the watery onslaught. All he had left was faith...

Siesis was getting tired after jumping tree to tree for a couple of hours, so he decided he should rest for a couple of minutes. "Man I hope this is worth the effort." Just then he herd bushes rustling, instinctivly he jumped in a tree. Out came a pidgey. Siesis came down, when he did the pidgey got scared and tryed to hop away saying "I rather die than work for Zigaram." "Woa there little guy I don't work for Zigaram. So just tell me what happened after you eat a berry to heal that wing of yours." He gave the pidgey an Oran Berry, after it ate it the pidgey introuduced himself as Pid, then he explaned that he hurt his wing running fron some Raticates. "Well don't worry your safe with me. By the way do you know anything about a group of rebels?" "Yeah I know about them I saw them in a fight by the lake of rage awhile back ago. But My friend Trace the Swellow told me that they are going to head through the woods to get to violet city and then go to the ruins of alph." "They're headed to the ruins of alph, I guess I better start going. Since i'm close to violet city it shouldn't take more than a few hours to get there. Do you want to come Pid?" "No thanks I have to leave to find my family." with that Pid flew away. Siesis called after him "Good luck finding your family!" The thought made him remember why he's doing this in the first place. "Mom Dad i'll get revenge for you both."
With his resolve restablished he started his way to violet city by tree.

Dark, ominous clouds loomed above, as darkness encassed the night itself into a deeper, more volatile black. Still within the ruined camp site, the Sneasel was continuing to lay apon his backpack, of which was proped up against a large tree trunk. The sleep-ridden Sneasel had only been sleeping for a mere hour within the vicinity, only for a rainstorm to come in and ruin the weary pokemon's rest.

As the clouds above became blacker than darkness itself, droplets of water began to sweep down from above, pelting the terra firma below and all apon it gently. The Sneasel was occasionally struck by a stray droplet, but it had little effect on him. He continued to sleep all so silently, no signs of waking up.

Suddenly, thunder boomed in the distance, a roar of ferocity traveling across the lands. With this, the rain had began to pour down heavier, as if the legendaries above weeped themselves. Thunder crashed yet again, and the barrage of water had finally stirred the Sneasel from it's sleep.

It's occulars were sealed shut by a small, harmless crust, he was relunctant to open then. He silently thought to himself: Uhn.. ...Rain...? Bothersome.. but the cold is no problem to an equally cold pokemon like myself.. I need sleep... With a small sigh, the Sneasel attempted to relax and sleep once more.

"Hello!" "Is anybody here?"

The Sneasel was close to entering a dreaming paradise once more - until an unfamiliar voice traversed the camp. Shocked, bewildered, and suprised, the Sneasel's eyelids arose and seperated, his occulars flung open. He knew someone was here - why, or who, he had no idea.

Judging by the voice, he assumed the pokemon was relatively small, and hopefully not hostile. Still, he knew not to take any risk. Any small pokemon could assassinate another with a weapon - he should always be wary Zigaram's henchmen could be only yards away.

The droplets from the sky continued to pour down, drowning out most sound. Under the cover of the rain, the Sneasel quickly rose to his feet, snatching his claws against the strap of his backpack. With utmost haste, he flung the said item over his shoulder, and quickly ran into the forest directly behind him.

After a mere few feet of his dash, be lept up onto a low branch, grasping it's underside with his claws. With a recoiling flip, he drew himself to stand atop the said branch. Using his momentum, he landed into a crouch, springing upwards and channeling his kinetic energy. He jumped even higher into the canopy of the forest, hiding himself within the thicket of the greenery.

His optics hastily scanned the area once more, searching for the pokemon which voice had resonated before. After a few moments of silence, he noticed a lone Cyndaquil beginning to walk into the forest. ..A fire type Cyndaquil? ..In the rain? the Sneasel had thought.

Zigaram wouldn't waste his men by sending them to their preventable death before they could find their target - if he knew the Sneasel's whereabout's, he would send something far more potent. Keh.. I may be wrong, but this pokemon should not be after me.. With it's flames in this condition from the rain, it won't last long. A death sentence for an enemy of mine, Zigaram is not so foolish.

However, the Sneasel refused to take action just yet. He silently followed the single Cyndaquil through the trees, waiting to see what it'd do. To his suprise, the Cyndaquil had collapsed, perhaps even fainted at this point. The Sneasel paused for a moment and simply stared. "..Wonderful."

With a single word spoken, the Sneasel launched himself from the treetops, dropping the short distance to the ground. Landing apon a knee and a hand, the Sneasel's fall didn't induce any pain. He quickly, but catiously approached the Cyndaquil that had collapse. Reaching it's form, he kneeled down to the pokemon, prodding it with the dull of his claws.

"..You, Cyndaquil, wake up.", he spoke. He waited a few seconds, without so much as a response, neither vocal nor physical. "... ... Bah." The Sneasel let out a sigh of regret, and perhaps annoyance as well. He was never fond of helping another pokemon, he still felt it was his duty, however.

Drawing his claws unto his backpack, he dug deep, searching for a specific item. Finally feeling the warmth of his desired object, he grasped his claws around the soft item. He quickly took out a large blanket from his backpack, immediatly placing it over the Cyndaquil. Even if he rarely had a need for warmth, he traveled with a blanket just in case.

With the pokemon being unconcious and still no reaction, he began to pick up the Cyndaquil with both pairs of claws, wrapping the blanket around it's stomach at the same time. He made sure the smouldering, but still burning embers on it's back would not catch the blanket on fire. Attempting to carry the Cyndaquil in one hand and raise the blanket above it back with the other, he ran off into the forest and out of the open.

The blanket could stop most of the rain, but the trees would provide further shelter. Reaching a thick area of greenery, he set the poor Cyndaquil down, keeping the blanket around most of it's body, bar it's back. "What to do..."

The Sneasel rarely took care of a pokemon besides himself, especially not a fire type. He was at a loss for the situation. He only thought of one thing - a fire. Even if he destested such a strong source of heat, he had to save the pokemon's life.

Finding dry wood would be rough in this rainstorm, he knew such an experience all too well - he had to sacrifice something. Reaching into his backpack once more, he revealed flint he always carried with him. Setting down the said mineral, he reached in deeper, taking until multiple tissues and other light, flammable pieces of cotton and cloth.

"Bah.. Sacrificng my own belongings for a single pokemon. Such trouble.." the Sneasel complained, even if he was going to help this fire type, he still didn't like doing so. He went up to the Cyndaquil, and set down the previously taken out items.

"Slash." The Sneasel's claws glew a brilliant white energy, signaling they were as sharp as ever. Slicing the ground, he removed a large patch of grass next to the Cyndaquil and himself. Next, he piled up the tissues in a wide and spreaded way, raises them up from the earth only slightly.

This assured they wouldn't all burn at once and only last a handful of seconds, as well as to keep the flame strong enough to light wood aflame. Picking up the flint with his claws, he placed it near the cloths and put his other claws up to the rocky material. "Scratch." the Sneasel said, striking the flint fiercly.

Sparks had flew, but they failed to light the cloths. "..Humph. Scratch." He attempted again, striking the flint once more. A kindling spark flew from the said mineral, dropping from the air and apon it's target - the cotton and cloths. Quickly kneeling down, the Sneasel placed his head to the spark, gently breathing apon it.

Cuffing his claws around the spark and continuing to gently blow, smoke began to rise. Soon, a fire began to erupt from the cloth. The flame was quickly spreading however, and in a minute or two, the fire would die out.

With haste the Sneasel rose up, lunging over to a close by tree. "Fury Swipes, slash!" exclaimed the Sneasel, wildly and fiercly cutting at the tree. The wet, damp bark was cut away by his attack, and with slash, he cut off a large, lopsided log from the tree. It was dry however, and good enough to burn.

With one more slice, he had two logs. Grasping them between his arms, he ran over to the Cyndaquil, placing the two logs around the spreading fire. He quickly picked up a half-flaming tissue, dropping it atop the two logs. The fire just barely began to pick up, and the logs were beginning to light aflame.

A glow within the dark night began to surge through the forest as the fire had started, and a deep, relaxing warmth began to radiate from the said flames. He hoped with this, the Cyndaquil would survive, and soon be able to do everything on it's own.

The Sneasel spoke out once more: "..Truly, truly bothersome.". Picking up the flint he had previously used, he put it back into his backpack. As the new two logs wouldn't keep burning throughout the night, he quickly left the Cyndaquil on his own to get more fire wood. He would rather save his strength and not use his special moves, however, and went to find passable wood to use without expending his power.

Ooc: Oh my god, novel, much? .....Are you sure posts can't be too big? >.>;; About carrying Cyndaquil and all that junk.. Samlin is unconcious, so that shouldn't be counted as bunnying, no? I saw someone do it earlier anyways, so.. yeah.

Maxis had continued walking for 10 minutes before he relised that he was alone. He closed his eyes to begin searching for there aura. He saw that they hadn't left the area, so he made an aura field around him that would let them know he was there if they came within 20 feet of him. "Now that that problems taken care of i'll just take a nap till they get near." Maxis sat down and laid his back against a tree, and was asleep in 2 minutes. By the way the aura field thing is just him putting his aura out the set distance to let friends or foes know were he is, and he can set it to only affect one or the other. I will stay true to my word CK I will make a post that beats yours in lenght.

"I'm done with all this," Eterna muttered to herself. "I'm not listening to Zenatra anymore. I'm leaving." She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, but rather just speaking her thoughts aloud. The Oddish were all hanging from the ceiling, vegetating in the rain, so only their leaves stuck out of the ground. Eterna found the practice incredibly weird, as everywhere she looked, there were Oddish feet in the ceilings. Despite the strangeness of the situation, it provided Eterna a perfect chance to run away and join the rebels.

She tiptoed out if the underground burrow, and the rain hit her hard. Her fur instantly became damp and uncomfortable, but she put it past her, and walked forward.

In the distance, there was a light, perhaps of a fire. She walked towards it, wanting to get the heat from it. She saw a Sneasel caring for a Cyndiquil, fainted and possibly ill due to the heavy rain. Zigaram's minions wouldn't care for one another, she noted. After gathering up her courage, she walked up to the Sneasel, who was awake. "Excuse me," she said, revealing her presence. "My name is Eterna. I'm an Eevee, and I was hoping you'd direct me towards the rebels against Zigaram."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The droplets of water from the heavens above continued to pour down unrelentingly, even as the Sneasel began to walk away from the fainted Cyndaquil he attempted to care for. Even when compelled to help another pokemon in need, he still detested doing such things, he could be doing many other things with such valuable time - namely, finding the rebel group.
"Excuse me"
The Sneasel had suddenly heard a pokemon speak out under the noise of the downpour, his ears rising up slightly, showing his alert state. He bared his claws and prepared to strike whatever had approached him - that is, until, he saw what the pokemon was. A lone Eevee stood infront of him, rather than a threat to his survival. He doubted a young Eevee would be serving Zigaram, and quite quickly decided he was in virtually no danger. Within half a second he had begun to bear his claws, he relaxed his muscles and returned to a less tense state.
"My name is Eterna. I'm an Eevee, and I was hoping you'd direct me towards the rebels against Zigaram."
The Sneasel's occulars began to fixate on the small Eevee's form, narrowing slightly to show some sort of detest, he never liked meeting other pokemon unless necesarry - especially when he was the one to be approached. However, his eyes retained their usual sorrowful, and cold demeanor, even as the Eevee spoke of the rebel group.
After a few seconds of a suspicious stare, the Sneasel had spoke. "... Rebels, against Zigaram? ..Hahahah. If such a group existed, Zigaram would wipe them out with an array of different methods, they wouldn't be around for very long. They'd stand no chance."
He was indeed lieing, denying any knowledge about the rebels, but he was used to keeping the truth away from others, he lived by deception at times. He showed barely any signs of being untruthful, hoping Eterna wouldn't catch on. "..Why would you look for such a group of pokemon, though. Do you have a death wish?", said the Sneasel. Hoping to get insight on the pokemon that appeared before him.
