ive always estimated 45, but that would mean ALOT of stages....theyll probably limit each franchise to 1 (some 2) stages, but i highly doubt that

yeah but you also have to remember that every single character is not from their own game. probably two for most sets of character groups besides for the mushroom character people, probably 3 or 4 for them
