BossFight means that Zelda had no clear fighting style until Smash. Most characters in Brawl have some kind of stuff to go on; Zelda (and Sheik) barely have anything. Their fighting style was made uniquely for Smash. A similar case happens with Game and Watch, for example.

I know, isn't that rediculous? Ganondorf actually DID have moves from his games they could have used. Yet, thry base him off Captain Falcon.

So since Gen VI is gonna be out, I wonder if the playable Pokemon reps will be from Gen VI or Gen V....

Yeah, you're right. Regardless of the playable character, I expect to have Gen VI material since XY will be out before SSB4.

I dunno. He could be, he did mention in BW2 that he wanted to "become the bridge between people and Pokemon".
