Super Smash Bros. 4

I meant it in a literal sense ya fool. I very well know their original talented workers have all-but left.

... Why the **** are we talkin' 'bout Square's primer past in a Smash Bros. thread?

In the literal sense, it's not Square.

Geno and Chrono keep coming up.

Well, I guess to veer off the irrelevant Square talk...

I just played Kid Icarus: Uprising, and now find myself thinking: WHY HAVEN'T I PLAYED THIS SOONER!? I haven't had the itch for more of a game right after it ended in a very, very long time. This game gave me that feeling, most likely being due to how short the game is, though.

Either way, I can see how even many of the hardcore oldies don't hate this game for being a "new" installment of their favorite classic. You see that very often: people saying every FF after 6 is crap, A Link to the Past was the last good Zelda game, 3D Metroids ruined the series, etc. I'll admit even I jump on the bandwagon for hating on some of the newer installments in series that - in my opinion - just go wrong... BUT! Uprising didn't do this... in fact... dare I say it? Yes, I liked Uprising more than the original Kid Icarus. All the characters are just so damn likable! I don't have even a single character in this game I don't like, and that rarely happens for me.

So as far as candidates for SSB4: I think Palutena should make it as a second playable character. She has her own moveset possibility from Uprising, she's been given - along with Pit - PLENTY of personality, and she was the only character in Brawl that appeared in the story mode and was not playable.

...And come on guys, who can say no to this face?

Magnus would most likely be the assist... but even though Viridi never made a direct appearance in Uprising, I'd prefer to see her make the assist slot.

Medusa could be a good boss idea, having her new model while fighting her in the original 2D style where only the top part of her body or just her head is seen on the right side of the screen while she attacks.

I'll say yes to Palutena, only because I think we need more female fighters.

If characters who use a ****in' rocket launcher or ones who actually have the power of Goddesses are allowed amongst human plumbers and a spider monkey, I don't see how an actual Goddess would be terribly Farfetch'd. A stretch indeed, but by no means an impossibility. If Sakurai wanted another Kid Icarus representative in the game, Palutena has good odds I'd say.

lol

Uhh... Ike, Link, and Pit have all KILLED gods/goddesses. Ganondorf is essentially immortal and is supposed to only be able to take damage from specific sacred items. What's all this nonsense about power differences in a SMASH BROS game? The game where a harmless princess can wipe the floor with an immortal being?

What would her moveset be
Would they just Zelda-ize her moveset?
I don't get what you mean by Zelda-ize. Zelda never had a moveset to begin with; they made her moves up for Smash Bros. Palutena has moveset options based on her Uprising appearance.
