Well all those different characters would play mostly the sane as each other. I am fine with the concept, though I don't really plan on using the Miis much.

2: Nah man, then you can just play the older games :3 Though I think Ness and Cpt. Falcons are practically part of the franchise.
3: Temple was awesome for 4 player matches, but I think Palutena's Temple will be the replacement. I don't hope so though, cause I have my doubts about that stage.
4: I think there will be 2 different Mii sizes, based on the height of your Mii. That way it's easy to see if your Mii is either small or big (first and last half of the height-slide)

1: Tell that to the rest of the world.
2. But... (local) friends (required)... Plus my flat screen doesn't display the older consoles correctly... And yes they are. They need new games/upgraded re-releases.
3. No denying Temple was fun. Taunt parties were of course a nuisance, KoiKing. But when there were battles, things always got amazingly hectic, especially with challenging friends. No one said you had to stay in the match/lobby. But yes, With Anyone's hit-and-runs were stupid-ridiculous.
4. Maybe 3? Don't know why, I just feel it's better. Small = fast, Med = balanced, Big = power. I like to make several Miis (some of different sizes) and would love to see all the different animations and properties for each.

Ahh, fair point. IIRC Wii Fit Trainer didn't have two game appearances under his/her belt even during the character reveal. I s'pose my point was moot.

Who's to say a special happening wouldn't get Bayonetta included? Not that I think she's in Smash 4 lol.

Well yeah, they don't wanna miss out on profit. (Zombie stuff, etc.) But I think religion, especially god killing themes, is quite touchy when it comes to N-do. They even got rid of the homosexual exploit in Tomadachi (not sure why). Would she really fit into the Smash Universe? Snake didn't do so well at that. I doubt her apperance too.

They do exist even in the non-competitive side'a things. Tiers, tiers, tiers, special tiers, blah blah. There're no actual lists though, since obviously the competitive scene isn't gonna waste time dissecting and measuring the casual scene.

... Point bein', competitive tiers don't matter to the casual scene, but casual tiers certainly do.

Maybe I should've word it better... Tiers always exist, people will put them into categories. That's kinda natural. Nothing is really balanced unless "Fox only, No Items, Final Destination" situations happen.

People who don't play it as often as us just don't care as much, if at all. Those are the casuals I'm talking about.

Picture this: Casual scene, people having a fun time at a small gathering, don't care who's winning or what they're doing. All they're doing is playing a "party" game with their favorite characters and best buddies. I don't think I would care about tiers in a situation similar to that.
Makes me sadder that I've only 3-5 friends like that. T_T

I think Amiibos are more interesting than the Miis are right now. Don't get me wrong, Miis are cool, but you can't use them in With Anyone, and what they do in Smash 4 is locked to Smash 4. The statues are going to be used multiple games. Like what? Why is this even here? Are they PVC quality? For what extra entertainment and service could this give me? Stuff like that. Confused and slightly amazed, and hopefully not disappointed.

I really hope Nintendo will make good use of Amiibo's, and not release one game every 6 months that use just a few different Amiibo's.
Oh and I just thought like that about the Mii's, cause I think Sakurai didn't display 2 different Mii's on the pic just for show. Of course it's not definite yet, but I'd be happy with 2 different sizes. I am really happy about how the Mii's turned out though, since I'll probably play local more often than online, which is why I love the SSB-series so much.

Yeah this is why I can really see myself playing Smash ALOT more when Wii U is out. I'll still be playing a lot of online on 3DS, but there's always more magic to playing local.

EVERYONE should be 100% certain that both will be back! Not only are they of the Veteran crew, but both Samurai Goroh and Mr. Saturn have made appearances.

I'm not 99% sure they will both be in SSB4. I'm 100% sure.

Ness will not be a character I will be playing often, because I'm not use to this jump/recovery/aerial game.
When I played him in Mother, I always feel homesick. He's a fleshed out persona that's quite relatable.

I think I may be sticking with Marth *grumble No Roy... grumble* and Ike depending on how they handle. Kirb is always a third option, with Cap'n and TLink not far behind.
Maybe I should make a Mii that resembles Roy lol
