Likely. But considerin' Marth was just announced, I wouldn't expect a new character or anythin' that big.

Should I be worried that Ness hasn't been announced yet? People seem to think that he might have been cut. Seriously not buying the game if it doesn't have Ness.

No, you shouldn't be worried. Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, and Yoshi along with Ness have been present in all the Smash games up-to-date, but they haven't been announced for Smash 4 yet. And Sakurai just started announcing Fire Emblem characters.

that marth charging sword move increase damage by 50% was in melee and brawl (by charging your sword holding B button and if made successfully contact with your opponent it can do deal damage up to %50 to your opponent) isn't new but could be updated to be more powerful in SSB 4 then previous games melee and brawl, I was playing that same move in melee and brawl and i still do it today in melee and brawl

Aye. That, and tippers are mainly 'bout the knockback increase rather than the small amount of extra damage. Obviously the bonus % of say, ten tippers from any moves would add up, but it's unlikely you'll get that many tippers (even when tryin') in one stock.

Unless you're playin' Marth in vBrawl, as U-air is basically a guaranteed tipper. Hilariously easy t' get.

I'd be pretty shocked if Sakurai kicked Lucas t' the curb, but there's no 'Karpin' way in hell a 64 veteran like Ness is gonna disappear.

We were talkin' 'bout damage, not knockback. Also, no character's move in the history of Smash can deal 50%. Oil panic doesn't count if it does have that high a damage potential.

As Neosquid pointed out to me, Super Mario 3D World has Rosalina as a playable character.
Which means she has a better chance of getting into Smash 4.
