I doubt it. I think they're just bumping up the difficulty. Sakurai himself said he wasn't trying to go the route of all the Nintendo games lately (decreased difficulty).
Exactly what I thought...noobs are gonna have to learn how to play now :)

well, i dont think its that hard to learn how to play ssbb. ssbb does not have many advanced techniques now that wavedashing is taken away. u first press a button to block, jump and hit. then u just get used to it. i think brawl is mostly just fun based instead of hard core challenging fun.

No. Not at all. Sakurai simplified some things (such as taking away wavedashing, which was mostly because casual gamers would get destroyed by that one move online), but this game will be just as hard/harder then its predecessors. Especially due to the fact you can go online and face extremely challenging opponents.

^UR RIGHT ssbb lover, L canceling is still in so i'll still definetely be deadly with falco, fox and luigi. and with all the other characters too. but still, now only L-canceling is the only thing that seperates the advanced players from the ametures. and experience does too i guess.

And a few other minor glitches^^^

I guess all the "pros" will be having NEW competition in the next world tourney.

They will have to rely on basic skill alone now that their glitches are all gone.

What do you guys think?

Does this make the game more fair, or does this cheaply end "true" skill?

^They're probably not going to be the exact same ones from Melee though.

If all the glitches are all gone I honestly wouldn't care cause I really don't use all that stuff. I'm a str8-up hardcore fighter. And I hate it when people say your a pro if you use wave dashing, L-canceling, ect. Sure they help but you don't need them to kick someone's ass if your truly a pro.

wavedashing is a glitch, and while it makes you a pro at melee, its cheap, and it wasn meant to be in the game. this time around we'll see who is actually good at fighting, and who relies on glitches to save their arse

^I don;t consider it a glitch...I consider a glith something that messes up a game or ruins it...not something that enhances the fun...sorta of like a unknown secret put there for you to figure out

wave dashing is a glitch, dosn't matter if you consider it one, it is

i personally don't care for it, i can do it, however i never felt the need to use it in a game

and i've beaten several other wavedashers out thar

anyways, has anyone else noticed that we haven't had an AT(waluigi/stafy) for over a month?
