Five. Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Intense. Intense, however, was made mostly for the curious, and Very Hard can be considered the highest level of play for standard playing purposes. By the way, the level of difficulty can also be adjusted for other modes of play and not just for The Subspace Emissary.

Wow... Just how hard is intense supposed to be? Think this will be enough to satisfy the hardcore players?

i remeber comming up with that idea a long time ago. then again, i come up with alot of ideas

you mean theres a harder mode then very hard.

there should be an impossible mode.:lol: were u just cant win. like cruel melee

Actually if you notice "Very Easy" is not in Brawl so "Intense" is like "Very Hard" from Melee

I doubt it. I think they're just bumping up the difficulty. Sakurai himself said he wasn't trying to go the route of all the Nintendo games lately (decreased difficulty).

Yea I think they just increase the difficulty cause Sakurai is saying If Shogo could do it a 3 year could and it doesn't need to get any easier

I just watched SSE gameplay with DK and Diddy, and I'm very pleased to see they made it a replica of Donkey Kong Country. This game is too amazing.

BRAWL IS A MUST HAVE FOR THE WII NO DOUGHT.

demos of past games. its still best not to get into video games to much. i never thought a game could actually be this cool.

i hope theres demo's for each character in brawl
