You know what i dislike? the fact that ridley fans say "'he's too big' is a terrible arguement" but they either don't explain their logic or it's freaking terrible

only logic i heard: they shrunk bowser

which is complete bullshit because bowser has appeared that small compared to mario before, and stuff in the mushroom kingdom have the power to change sizes, from a chemical found in the mushrooms

you can't use olimar as an arguement cause he's from a completly different series, and you don't know how tall he is COMPARED to other characters in smash bros

Ridley's size varies from really big to big(his smallest is a head taller than samus, one of the tallest characters)

that's why bowser can fit in the game

that was just an opening,and he was seen for 2 seconds.... it dosen't matter

in the 64 smash bros, pikachu was as small as someone's foot, surfing a pokeball

tell me....if you're playing a metroid game, and you know from spoilers that ridley is coming up.....do you expect him to be that size?

Saying Ridley is too big so he shouldn't be playable is robbing him of a place in the roster he clearly deserves more than any other Metroid character out there.

Also, what does the Kirby TV show have to do with Smash? I'm not doubting that Kirby may be popular, but Hell having Metroid with one rep and Kirby with three? That's pretty bad.

But I have to agree.. If Olimar can be sized up, Ridley can be sized down.

Plus, looking at this logically, there are 23 confirmed characters. Let's say Luigi, Falcon, Ganondorf, and Roy/Marth get it. I can't see there being less then 35 characters. That would leave 7-8 more to be revealed. With only one current Metroid character, I would say it's a safe bet to guess one more will be in that 7-8. (Even though I think there will be over 40 characters) That one more could very easily be Ridley..
