Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I see absolutely no reason why Ridley shouldn't/can't be in Brawl.

Uh-oh, I'm in the conversation now.
I hate Ridely discussions......I'm with Leve. And the fact that we need another Metroid character dosen't mean ridely should be in. There's plenty of other Metroid characters that would be great for Brawl.
Why do we need Ridely in anyway? We have Charizard, so why would we need some1 who would basically have the same moves? We don't need 2 dragons.

And none of the new Metroid characters have been a staple in the long run. Ridley has been there since the beginning.
And Luigi and Mario? Do we really need to plumbers? Kirby and Jigglypuff? Do we need two pink things?

Oh please. Other Metroid characters besides Ridley? Like who... Sylux? Hunters sucked apart from multiplayer. Which isn't what Metroid is focused on. One of the hunters from Corruption? Because they were cool....
Ridley is one of the MOST important characters to the Metroid franchise besides Samus. He killed her family and lead the Space Pirate attack against the settlement where she lived. He would have killed her too if it weren't for her mum sacrificing herself to save Samus.

LMX, perfectly said. As it's been mentioned a million times, Ridley is arguably the 2nd most important character in Metroid. There's no reason for him not to be in this game if he plays a significant role in a huge franchise. He's like the equivalent to Bowser in the Mario series, so saying there are "more deserving Metroid representatives" is a horrible argument to make against him.

Dark Samus would be much more suitable

Dark Samus isn't really a staple in the Metroid Series. Yes, she's the main antagonist in the Metroid Prime series, but Ridley has been there since the beginning. That, and Ridley is much more developed as a character.Shoko said:
