"Nowhere to go but up."
Naxus jumped straight up out of the spikes, slashing the ones in his way. He jumped towards Drake and slashed him with both claws aimed at his chest.
-MEANWHILE-
Richand was running with Night when he heard footsteps.
"Night, hide!"
Richand grabbed Night and jumped into the bushes.
Sekhmet arrived at Negliv, the Drosin Capitol. He pulled up a disguise, and traversed the city, scouring every crevice and every home for the alleged Oric Halgern and his family.
He knew Oric was royalty, and so he headed into the kingdom where they were rumored to live. He executed one of the servants, taking there clothes as a new disguise and searching the castle extently. He walked into a bedroom, a little girls room as it appeared, and looked around. Her pink bed and all her little nick nacks, worthless, none of them giving him the answer he wanted.
Then...he saw it. A large portrait on the wall, four people in it. One was a little boy, the other a little girl, maybe 5 and 7 years old. Then, there was a woman, beautiful, and very rough looking. Sekhmet eyed her greedily. Then his temper flared as he eyed the large man, it was Oric Halgern in the picture. This was his family. Sekhmet smiled. He had found his target.
Well......three of them at least... He chuckled to himself. The sheer malice in his thoughts would be enough to make Halgern crack. He kept laughing, but stopped suddenly. He turned to look back towards the door, and the little girl from the picture was staring at him. He slowly walked toward her, neither of them speaking. She remained still and silent, as if bewitched by his prescence.
"Hm hm hm...hello, little girl..." He chuckled to himself and smiled. A voice motioned him inside his head, do it now... He quickly gripped the young girl by her throat, and lifted her into the air. Unable to breath, she struggled against his strength, kicking and punching. She attempted to scream, but his grip was crushing her wind pipe. Sekhmet smiled as he watched the little girl's eyes roll up into her head. Her breathing was erattic, and soon her face turned to blue. He felt his grip overpowering the girl. And finally....
Snap! He dropped the girl's broken corpse to the ground, and proceeded through the castle. A young boy and his mother, Halgern's family obviously, ran towards Sekhmet and questioned him. "Have you seen my little girl?" the mother asked.
Hmph, fools, he thought, they are confused by this uniform. He ripped off the servant uniform he was wearing, and let his long robes flow. The mother gasped. "Y-your....Sekhmet!"
"Yes," he replied, "and now, your mine!" A bolt of lightning flew from his hand into the boy's chest, blasting him back across the room and through the wall. Sekhmet's power being so high, the poor boy could'nt take it. His body was racked with lightning, and his skin charred, sizzled, and burst in flame. His screams became ever more rasp as the fire chewed away at his flesh. Soon, there was nothing left but the smell of burning skin.
The mother let out a horrified scream, and Sekhmet cast a bolt into her chest as well, only enough to stun her though. The bolt hit her squarely in her forehead, making a black mark and causing instant shutdown of her motor skills. He put the uniform back on, picked up her body, and headed for the exit. Guards stopped him before he left.
"What's going on servant!?" he shouted.
"Quick," Sekhmet said in a panicky voice, "Conud mercenaries have assassinated the Halgern's! Im taking this woman to a healing center."
"Come on men, we must save them from Conud. For Drosin!" they shouted. The men ran past Sekhmet, giving him way to leave freely.
Hmph, he thought, fools... Sekhmet then rushed to his horse, ripping off the uniform and letting his robes drape once more. He saddled the horse with Oric's wife in hand, and as he rode to the new Valentine tower, he shouted, "For Conud!"
Sekhmet rode for a long time...and he finally got to Valentine's tower. Without a word to the guards, he rushed upstairs to Lord Valentine's chambers. He burst through the doors and threw the womans body upon the floor in front of Storm Valentine. He then bent on one knee, and muttered, "My Lord, I give you the Wife of Oric Halgern, Mistress of Drosin."
Storm smiled happily as he stood up and gestured the guards. They quickly chained Oric's maiden to the wall, standing up, and she awoke. She stuttered and drooled, then fell back into sleep.
"My Lord," Sekhmet said, straightening up, "We should keep her prisoner, Oric Halgern will likely come looking for his wife, and we should not dissappoint him."
"Yes...yes..." said Storm, entranced by the woman's beauty. "Excellent work, Sekhmet. You may retire to your quarters. If you wish, I beleive you can spend your time with Seth Covull..."
"Very good, My Lord," said Sekhmet, who turned and left to Seths chambers.
"Hm hm hm hm, you are a pretty one, aren't you..." Storm muttered in the girl's ear as he stroked her cheek. He kissed her neck lightly, and slowly opened his mouth, letting his fangs sink into her flesh.
Ooc: one of my more graphic posts...what do you think?
A grin crossed Satra's face, but quickly disappered as the animal began eating raw meat. It smelled horid. Satra spoke making sure to breath through her mouth, "Excellent, my men could use some rest anyway. Is there a place I can stay here? I think this would be a good place to watch our homemade war take place."
Meanwhile.....
Oric Halgern struggled on, slowing inching closer to the Conud border. All he could think about was his family. Sekhmet said he would kill them, and he needed to get to the capital of Drosin to find them. As king and queen his parents would be prime targets and his brother a high general in the army could also be in trouble. Even though Oric haden't spoken to them in years, they were family and he needed to help them and his country. It was time he fought as a Halgern, a prince of Drosin.
