"Nowhere to go but up."
Naxus jumped straight up out of the spikes, slashing the ones in his way. He jumped towards Drake and slashed him with both claws aimed at his chest.
-MEANWHILE-
Richand was running with Night when he heard footsteps.
"Night, hide!"
Richand grabbed Night and jumped into the bushes.

Sekhmet slashed thourhg the spirits effortlessly. Then, they came back alive. He destroyed them again. Again and again, there was no way to stop them. Each time they came back, they became harder to overcome, learning Sekhmets fighting style. This was Sekhmet's training, to battle the spirits of the damned for the rest of his time here.

Time seemed to pass quickly in the chamber, and food, drink, all the pleasures and lussts of the body were nothing here...meaningless. In the chamber, Sekhmet had been training for nearly three months now. Without the need for sleep, training was an everday essential. No sunset, no landmarks, no way to tell when the day ended or when it began except for the clock.

Unaware of how Seth was faring in this unholy place, Sekhmet was to busy to care, struggling to survive against his past opponents.

Gak! Night was pulled into the bush that richand was in. he stayed on the ground looking around to see if some one was around. He didnt see anything.

"hey richand'' wispered Night "Why are hideing now?"

Zanaku ran and got to were the paths meet up. He saw no 1 around. Then he heard russling in the bushes. He then put Siana down and aimed at the bushes. Zanaku was charging his dark matter beam. It was like a dark hole forming between his hands.

Seth was faring much better than Sekhmet. He didn't spend most of his long life killing so there wasn't nearly as many spirits to destroy. Since his foes were easier he was able to spend time marveling at the chamber. Other than a white door the area was completely black. There was no distinction between land or sky, just black all around. Seth was relieved that the floor was flat. With everything as black a small bump could lead to a potential death, and Seth would rather not find out what happens if he were to die here.

After what seemed like years, Seth fought his way towards Sekhmet. "Hey, I think we should leave here now. This should be enough to finish this war."

Night was looking at the ground and saw feet just standing there. "hmmmmm" thought Night. He took out his hand held cross bows and fired them at the person feet.

Sekhmet was being crushed by the spirits vital grip when Seth asked him this question. "N-no," he cried, "NOOO!!!" Light suddenly exploded from Sekhmet's body, shining from his every orifice. His body seemed to implode, and force blasted all around him to the ground.

His body lengthened, his weight gained, and his body became covered in armor. It was a beautiful sight, but unable to be seen from the blinding light. A voice was heard by all from the center of the light that sounded like Sekhmet's.

"Horus, God of Power, Guide Me!" When he yelled this, the entire area erupted in flames. Lightning shot from the ground, and flames curled themselves around his enemies. Quickly melted down to cinders, this time, the spirits did not come back.

The light dissappeared, and Sekhmet fell to the ground. "Uh...uh...I did it...Seth, we have just won this war..." Sekhmet slowly stood up, his clothes tattered and burned.

He looked happy to see that Seth had not been harmed. "Come my friend," Sekhmet said as he leaned on Seth for support, "We can go now.."

"Very dramatic. You always go over the top don't you?" Together they opened the white door and found themselves back in the normal world. Seth asked a nearby servent how long they had been in there. "About five minutes, my lords."

"Only five minutes? Oh, Valentine. However did you come up with this room?" The two began the long trek up the tower stairs, which in itself could be considered training. For the last time, damn your ego Valentine.

OoC: haven't had a chance to update. remember i'm on my wii. typing is no problem but copy/paste would mean i hand-write everything. well screw that. but it will be updated by monday at latest.

Sekhmet coughed, and reared himself up as they finally reached the top of the stairs. He felt stronger than he ever had before, but his life felt faint...

They walked into Valentines chambers to find Storm and Nurgle observing the outbreaking war between Drosin and Conud.

"Ahhh...Sekhmet, and Seth," he said pompously. "Well, why the long faces gentlmen? You look like you havent slept in years." He and Nurgle chuckled at his joke. "I trust the chamber was a success then?"

Sekhmet answered proudly, "Yes, Lord Valentine, I have discovered the full extent of my power. I am yours to command, my Lord."

"Hmmm...very well Sekhmet. I do sense a drastic increase in your powere level. Good job. There actually is something i need you to take care of...you remember your battle with the general in Salfir?"

"Why, yes sir. It was Oric Halgern, I killed him, sir."

"Well, Sekhmet," he said sternly, "my sources tell me Oric Halgern is indeed alive. I beleive that since he is, he is heading to his family in Drosin. Why don't you...pay them a visit..." He chuckled to himself.

"Y-yes sir...immediately." Sekhmet's face was full of fury, he seemed somehow full of energy, and he saddled his horse. He rode off at blazing speed, using his powers to make the horse and himself float a foot above the ground, as to not tire him out. He had vengeance in his eye.

"Tell me Seth..." Valentine questioned with a glint in his eye, "What did you think of Sekhmet's power?"

"Quite powerful with the over the top, dramatic flair he puts into all his moves. It will take some very powerful foes to defeat him."

--Meanwhile--
Negliv, Drosin Capital

The poor of the city had started rebellion against the royal family. they refused to pay for a war on two fronts. Soldiers were having trouble keeping the peace. All around the outer edge of the city were massive riots and protests against Destry, Conud and the Drosin royalty. If someone said something against the views of the group that person was beaten. Forget Destry and Conud, Drosin was tearing itself apart.

A man ran into a dead end followed by two rioters. "Please don't hurt me!" One of the rioters chuckled, "Why not? Who's gonna stop us, wimp?" They stepped towards the man when suddenly one had a sword sticking through his back. "I love riots. Don't you?" Xenth pulled his sword out and the man fell to the ground, dead. "Why you sonofa-!" Xenth didn't even let him finish before decapitating him. The weak man that the rioters were going to best got up. "Oh thank you sir! Thank you so much! Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

"Yes, there is. I'm a traveler so I don't know. What started this?" The man shook his head. "A Conud messenger came and killed General Coros. Then when we questioned Conud why, they denied it but instead claimed a Drosin man attacked them first. Both countries suffered a loss and each blames the other. I don't know what to do. Since now we are beginning to get ready for a war with Destry and Conud, the royals had to raise taxes. Most of the poor couldn't pay there taxes before this and now they've become violent in order to avoid paying. I suggested a non-violent refusal and those two wanted to kill me."

Xenth smiled. "Thanks for the info, but it seems I made a mistake. I killed the good guys. Peace is for weaklings." Xenth stabbed the man through the heart.

~mean while~
Nurgle looked at the seen of the 2 sides fighting. "Isnt that a buetiful sight my lord? The killing and rampaging. So splendid."

~mean while~

Zanaku saw 2 arrows flying at him and shot his charged beam out at the bushes. He seen a large explosion after words.
