Naxus laughed.
"Oh, that's your trump card? Of course I saw your friends escape! They'll be finished soon enough. And I couldn't care less about those soldiers."
Naxus's eyes glowed.
"I don't care about Storm's plans, nor do I care about Destry. All I care about is testing my own stregnth, and working for Valentine allows me to do just that."

umm... Storm I hate to ruin a great post, but Oric doesn't have kids or a wife. He doesn't even live in Drosin. If you read my sign-up you will see the he ran away from his family(Mother, Father, Brother) at a young age and started his life in Salfir.

ic;

Oric mounted the Conud horse, remembering the President's words, "We have a suprise for you." Oric looked into the dark corner of the stable, sitting against a bale of hay was armour. It was all black with gold trim. He placed it on, noticing the inside had a slight organish hue to it, Copper.

Oric put it on, there was no armour on his left arm. He wouldn't need it now. A new shield, and spear also where sitting next to the gear. Finally he noticed a ring, with a note beside it.

This Ring draws on the life force of others to create.

The create what? Oric put it on. The ring was silver with the symbol of Conud etched into ruby.

Oric geared up and climbed aboard his horse. It was a fine white stallon, freshly groomed. He rode hard towards Negliv, hoping his Parents and brother were fine. As he approached the walled city, guards stopped him, "Who are you and what is your purpose here?"

"I am Oric Halgern, and come bearing peace from Conud. It is urgant I see the King and Queen now!"

"The guard held his ground, "Oric Halgern is dead, he is no longer welcome here. Besides we are at war with Conud."

"NO! You are at war with Destry. I am here to stop this war, are you willing to live with the fact that you are the reason both Conud and Drosin with die. Can you take the responsablity of hundreds of thousands of deaths? STEP ASIDE!"

The guard looked to his partner, not sure what to do. "Go on, but Baker with escort you through the city. For your own saftey."

Oric followed the solider through, the guard wasn't kiding. People everywhere were yelling and screaming at him. They blamed this conflict on Conud, too blinded by hate to think logically. Oric counldn't understand why his father hadn't put an end to this. It was foolish to start a war without even consuling the other side.

As they aproched the royal palace, protesters lined the streets. Armed guards stood between the torches and the Halgern Homested. Oric made his way through the crowd and ran all out to his father's chambers, just as he reached the doors he stopped. He hadn't seen his father in years, and they hadn't been getting along when he left.

He opened the door to find both his brother and father bend over a war map in the center of the room. Both men stopped what they were doing and locked years with Oric, too shocked to speak.

Oric's father was the first to speak, "Oric? Is that you?"

Oric speaked forward and answered, "Yes father, I have been living in Salfir until the envasion. I worked with a group of rebels to fight against the Destry army there, but we were defeated. Now I come home as an embassador of peace from Conud."

Both men exchanged hugs with Oric, a few tears even sprinkling down their faces. That is when Oric notice him. Sekhmet! The guard had removed his helmet in the presence of the King, and Oric reconized his face. He rushed to door closing it, "Thank you guard, your services have useful. Report back to Captin Oesa for farther orders."

Oric locked the door, and motioned to his kin, "We can talk later, follow me now."

Meanwhile....

Satra watched as a messanger aproached. She had orders to march into the gorge and look for Naxus. It would take far too long to ready her whole force, and it didn't take 100,000 men to find one. She issued orders for half of her elite spellcasters, Umbra Morbus to assemble along with a few thousand regulars. She marched hard towards the border, sweaping around to enter the gorge from the west. Spear at the ready Satra moved through the area. She had heard storys about this area, and from them she was suprised nothing had attacked them yet. They moved a little farther in before they heard fighting. Satra charged in, the fighting had stopped and Naxus stood over a man in black. "Naxus, bring me up to speed."

"That true but just so you know..... I didn't learn my skills or magic from Storm no I learned them from someone a lot older." Drake sat down in the middle of the clearing as if his guard was down, his body at ease.
"Now you wan't to become stronger right.... well there are many ways to become stronger some of them Storm is keeping from you."

Sekhmet quickly followed Oric and his kin, suspecting a valuable secret may be uttered. Sekhmet did not doubt this would turn into a battle, he was prepared. All his training in the chamber, there was no possible force, on Earth, Heaven, or Hell that could defeat him.

Still, he would rather have no bloodshed today, especially with how well the war was going between Conud and Drosin. He followed the men into a secure room, and the four of them stood there for awhile, eyeballing eachother.

Sekhmet decided that it was time. He took off his helmet, and ripped off his disguise, revealing his flowing robes and powerful prescence. He even lowered his hood, revealing those horrid face tattoos.

"I..." he said calmly, "Am Sekhmet, Grand Priest and decorated General in Destry. Trainer of over 1,264 Destrian Spellcasters, and the reason for the war between Conud and Drosin." The expression on the men's faces were priceless.

He continued, "I di not come here to fight today gentlemen, although," he chuckled while gripping his sword, "I am ready for it...No, I come to you...with a proposal..."

~mean while~

Nurgles smile grew so big the scar on his mouth reopened a bit and blood rolled down his cheek. Nurgle licked it and tasted his own evil tainted blood. "With pleasure Storm but if you don't mind me asking why a pretty women?" Nurgle then looked at Storm in the eyes.

-meanwhile-

Night opened his eyes real slow like. He was moving, how he was moving he didnt know. He saw Richand carrying him, "Hey....Richand.....iam ok......i think"

Night thought to himself for a moment "I almost lost control...i couldnt stop..i need to be more careful when i go like that. I could end up killing Richand or the others and i dont want to relive that again"

ooc; well if he didn't take off his helmet they would have know something was up anyway. I just assumed since Sekhmet was in a disguise he would act the part, otherwise it wouldn't be a very good disguise.

i'll post later

"Hm hm hm," Storm chuckled, "Well, if any men try to assassinate me, she can captivate them, then kill them. it is a perfect plan, along with your protection, i have no threats."

EDIT: OOC: its all good, lbu8. dont worry about it.

Oric knew that Sekhmet was telling the truth, but just incase he tighted his grip on his spear. His father, Rutan Halgern king of Drosin, stared coldly into the eyes of Sekhmet. Oric's brother, Raman, stepped in front of the king and unshealthed his sword, "You are not welcome here. Return to Destry!"

Oric pushed his palm against Raman's chest, "You don't know who you are dealing with. Sheath your sword, NOW!"

Raman did what he was told, suprised at Oric's confidence. It was obvious he had changed since their boyhood.

Oric took a step towards Sekhmet, "What do you want? Or do you just enjoy dressing up in other men's clothes."

Sekhmet chuckled at Oric's joke. "Very good, Oric. You just saved your brother a terrible beating." He grinned at Raman, as if trying to egg him on.

"Anyways, I have one of two courses of action to take, direct orders from Lord Valentine." he continued smiling. "Destry has chosen to offer it's hand to Drosin in peace, and to aid our support against the Cound."

He smiled again, "If you fail to comply with said truce, then I have the order, and the pleasure, to exterminate you all immediately." His hand charged with ligtning, "And I can do it, quite easily." He paused for a moment, and ripped the sleeve of Oric's shirt off his left arm. He smiled into his reflection from the metal skin.

"Heh, your just lucky to be alive here, are'nt you?" Sekhmet reared himself back up, "My offer stands...join us, or die."

"All right..."
Richand put down Night and they came upon an open clearing where the paths converged again.
"Come on guys... hurry up!"
-MEANWHILE-
Naxus chuckled.
"That may be, boy... Valentine is superior in strength to even I. But if I can get stronger, I can do it myself. Now are you truly surrendering, or do I have to bring you to your father in a casket?"

Nurgle then scremed "Get me a horse." The servents with fear went and got a horse ready at the stables. The servent then went in Storms room and said ready. When the servent came in Nurgles battle armur was almost on. The servent shook with even more fear. After he got his suit on Nurgle with great speed ran down the tower and out the door. He then got on his horse but he noticed the horse was different. Its name was shadowmere. It had pure red eyes with no pupils and a dark purple body. A note on the saddle said a gift from Storm. Nurgle smiled and then said "excellent". Nurgle got on the horse and headed for Sulfer.

"Enjoy...Nurgle," Storm said, smiling as he watched Nurgle ride off on Shadowmere.
