Night At the Museum 2 - So, nobody is around in Washington after sunset. Interesting. And there is no security of any kind - though I'll just pretend that was some kind of tablet power. Anyway, despite this I still found the movie enjoyable, though the humour could have been less kiddy - Ice Age had more "grown up" humour...

DOOM

I only went back to watch this movie because I was wanting to play DOOM or DOOM 3 again, but I no longer have an Xbox. So I settled with the movie.

6/10

Movie wise, it's not that great. DOOM wise, it's not that great either. These monsters are supposed to be demons from Hell damnit, not humans mutated because of some extra crap in their DNA. But it's nice to see the Imps, Hell Knights, and Pinky Demon put in a movie. It's not nice that it's just the Imps, Hell Knights, and Pinky Demon. Wheres all the Revenants, Cacodemons, Lost Souls, Cyber Demon, fat-missle-launching-demons(I forget it's name), Spider Walkers, etc.?

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - 7/10
It was ok for a sequel, but not that great. There were painful silent moments that they tried to turn into a Family Guy cutscene, but it didn't work.

Terminator 4.
Loved it. Right up until the ending. I don't believe any further comment is required on exactly what I'm talking about here. Despite this, I can still very much enjoy it. Kind of like how I love Return of the King, and wished it just ended with Aragorn.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - 9/10

This was a good, fun action movie. I don't think there has been a single Denzel Washington movie I haven't liked, actually, and I've seen nearly all of 'em. This one, though, was interesting in that it had quite a bit of humor for an otherwise traditional heist thriller.

Terminator Salvation : 9/10
It was a good movie but I think it could have been better. Definitely worth seeing though and money well spent. It was more like a simplistic extension of all the others because you could tell what was going to happen next most of the time.

Can anyone tell me how the Tranformers movie was? I really wanted to see it but my ex would rather go out to the club by himself than see a movie with me...never got around to going by myself.

Transformers is great. I would give it a 8.5/10. Definitely worth seeing.

Yeah its number 1. Number 2 is called revenge of the fallen.
I cannot wait to see it, hopefully it will be top 5 movies on the year.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - 7.5/10

It's tough to score this movie low because it had some amazing moments, and its most redeeming factor is that it's largely a tragedy (similar to how 300 was great). But ultimately, it was...alright. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 was better than this, honestly.

I was hoping for the action scenes to be more purposeful, less hollywood fluff, and the romance subplot to be more believable, but oh well. I think The Dark Knight has forever spoiled me when it comes to these movies.

I will say this, though: Wolverine's last villian fight was one of the coolest action fights I have seen in a long time. Soo worth the stupid-expensive 9-10 dollars.

Right, I was referring to the first.

Rise of the Fallen has a big act to follow. With SOO much action and transformers in its preview trailer, I honestly feel like it's too good to be true. I fear that the movie will try to cram too many transformers in it for its own good, leading to lost character development opportunities and lack of a digestible, focused pacing of the story. A problem that MANY sequels face.

I loved the first, though, so I hope it proves me wrong.
