Pokemon X/Y

Mega Kanto starters are cool. I might have considered using one if I didn't have better options.

WHO'S USIN' OVERPOWERED POKES NAO?!?! D:<

The point is over the head. It's Nickel and dime-ing is what it is.

Because clearly servers and a shitton of data storage, includin' back-ups for every bit of data, don't cost money. Obviously Game Freak could afford it, but that's not the most profitable idea, now is it? 'Specially not how after the Dream World and other online things were (and likely still are) free.

Iwata said it himself, Pokemon Bank is for competitive players or obsessive collectors. It's not required, it's not pricey, and it's incredibly handy for said players... although, I really don't agree with Poke Transporter bein' a part of the deal. They should set aside some low-cost servers specifically for players that haven't bought Pokemon Bank or somethin'. No one's gonna be happy t' find a micro-transaction bein' required to bring their Pokes from past games to newer ones. Everyone should at least get a free trial for Bank 'n Transporter when first registering, as opposed t' just the first month the services are out.

Hell, they could probably of worked Transporter int' the new Dream World somehow. For free.

And it's only gonna get worse from there. Subscriptions. Damn. Never would've guessed. What's the default ingame capacity?

Room for every single species (not every single fully evolved 'mon, every species) + a few boxes more is how they've done it in past games. I'd imagine the same holds true. IIRC every new Generation has brought more extra boxes too.

If we didn't get more boxes every Generation, we'd of run outta room at Gold 'n Silver lol.

The Poke Transporter is what allows you t' trade Pokemon from BW1/2 to XY. It's a solution t' the age-old issue of needin' two handhelds in order to trade Pokes from old games to new ones (you can also trade between multiple versions of XY with Pokemon Bank too). Deposit Pokes to the Poke Transporter, they go t' your Pokemon Bank. Then they can immediately be transferred to your XY games, simple as that. No bullshit minigames like Pal Park or the PokeTransfer (not t' be confused with Poke Transporter). It's fast and efficient... well, that's what it's claimed t' be. It has t' be much faster than the previous methods though, that much is certain.

The Poke Transporter also isn't just for BW1/2 and XY. It's a permanent thing, and will be used for future Pokemon games too. It's for the long term, hence why there's an annual fee.

Transporter comes with Pokemon Bank, so you'll have t' pay that $5 for Bank in order to use Transporter... T'is the thing I take issue with. Transporter should be free IMO.

IMO they should have a transporter option that uses a Wii U
I have tons of memory on my Wii U
I would like to use some

I agree about the transporter thing, but it's still not really a big deal.

$5 might be a drop in the bucket, but it's still a micro-transaction for people that just want t' keep their Pokes from old games in action... and another $5 the year after if they revisit the old games 'n want t' bring that team they used to the new games as well.

An even better idea... but they wouldn't go for it, as then people would question why the Wii U Transporter doesn't have a free Pokemon Bank t' go with it.

'Course. Game Freak will definitely add more things t' Pokemon Bank as Dialga passes, to give more incentive t' those who don't necessarily need the storage space.

... Like chargin' for Dream World usage, and makin' Pokemon Bank/Transporter free. :D

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the first generation. Its body temperature is roughly 18,000 degrees F. Flames spout from gaps in its hardened shell. The shell on its back is just skin that has cooled and hardened. It breaks easily with a slight touch. Its brittle shell occasionally spouts intense flames that circulate throughout its body. So here it is, the one hundred & fourtieth entry, Poliwrath.
