Giant squids are my favorite animal, not sharks, though I do like sharks. A well designed giant squid Pokemon could easily appeal to me more then Sharpedo (who is now my second favorite Pokemon since I decided I liked Sableye more).

Hmm.

That's a thought, but Golurk is kinda like that already. It's more of a robot then a suit of armor, but the similarity is there. I think they'd take a different route.

Robots run off of electricity though, so a Ghost/Steel type would (hopefully) not be a robot.

Omastar is the closest thing we have to a squid so far, and while I love Omastar, it's not giant nor is it technically a squid ._.
