Pokemon X/Y

IIRC only one person (the host) needs t' have everyone added, to send invites. Though I wouldn't know from experience, as I've never had a multi-battle on Wi-Fi.

I'm actually quite thoroughly disgusted with Pyroar... I really thought he was gonna be this gens Arcanine, but it seems not to be... Unfortunately I can only see him thriving in RU as long as he doesn't get Nasty Plot as an egg move once PBank comes out.

As far as Sableye goes, I am happy to see its usage go up. But if it goes OU,then UU loses another Prankster poke... Which could bode ill and shift the metagame even more.

So Gengarite was banned... shame I never got t' use one, as I quite liked Mega Gengar (aesthetically).

Is Mega Kangaskhan centralizing the metagame? People need t' remember that bannin' something because it's broken isn't necessary. Banning it is Justified if it's usage rate is retardedly high, and is also heavily impacting all teams with an Iron Fist.

Well, not every Pokemon can be amazing. At least it has a cool design. I want to use Pyroar M in the future.

I concur.

I don't know, but I'd assume it probably is.

Idk Dirge, it does Unnerve me a bit to see something as Intimidate-ing as MegaKangaskhan get Sucker Punch-ed for Bulk-ing Up a metagame that is, Astonish-ingly, reverting to BulkyOffense. The problem with MegaKanga is its ability to hit nearly everything at 2HKO potential while having priority. Kinda scary to be honest...

But let's face it... At least he's not playing Shadow Tag with everyone like that Frustrat-ing MegaGengar. :)

It's not too far fetched to say what I've said. If you've got a better Altaria-er idea, I'd like to hear it.

So, Game Freak responded in a timely to the hax that recently came up.

For those of you who have purchased Pokémon X & Y, the second patch, V 1.2, is now live on the eShop. This patch fixes various exploits that allowed people to read data through data interception. This patch is required to go online and comes in at 236 blocks.
In conjunction with this patch, Rating Battles have been reactivated in the Battle Spot part of the game

Also, I just won a PP Max via Stunfisk. not amused rite meow

If you've got a better Altaria-er idea

... Now you've gone too far.

Although the AI is normally pathetic, I can't help but grin every time Serena/Callem switches out their Pokemon abnormally intelligently (for the game). For example, after seeing my Goodra attack Meowstic with Muddy Water with rain down, Serena switched it out for Vaporeon, which has Water Absorb. This is the type of switching that I like to see, game. I haven't seen any other examples of this besides Callem doing the same thing with Flareon and fire moves, sadly, at least that I remember.

Ya think Troll Freak would've included an actually difficult Challenge Mode by now. Ain't they noticed the rather large Challenge community by now?

I wonder what it'd be like if every trainer had Battle Tower AI. That'd be somethin', alright. Someone should make a ROM hack of that (wouldn't be surprised if it's been done already).

I don't recall the normal trainer AI in BW and BW2 being that bad...most of the time, don't think I forgot about your little "Sharpedo, use Night Slash on Hippowdon!" incident, Grimsley...I think the bigger problems in those games were:

  • Lack of Pokemon on teams
  • Many trainers not evolving their Pokemon
  • Spamming the same types
  • Crappy movesets
  • Tendency not to switch
  • Being underleveled (not sure exactly on this one)

In XY the AI is obviously horrible for the most part, though.
