Regarding that list on the last page with the rumored mega evos....you guys are aware of how, say, mega Alakazam can only use moves regular Alakazam can learn, correct? Well, if you didn't know, certain Pokemon that now get mega evos got new moves this generation obviously to take advantage of their new mega form. Heracross got Pin Missile, Arm Thrust, and Bullet Seed to take advantage of mega Heracross's Skill Link. Ampharos got Dragon Pulse to compliment mega Ampharos' dragon-typing (pretty sure it didn't get Dragon Pulse before). There are a few more examples (although I believe Gyarados still lacks access to Crunch for some dumb reason). Well, I was looking at Sunflora's movepool, and it doesn't get any Fire attacks at all. Which makes little sense, since not only would mega Sunflora (which the rumor claims is Grass/Fire with Flash Fire) lack any sort of secondary STAB, but it wouldn't even get a power boost from Flash Fire, which only powers up fire-type attacks. I looked further, and Druddigon seems to still lack access to a physical poison attack not named Poison Tail, which would be strange considering mega Druddigon's claimed poison typing. I believe there are a few other examples as well. This is all from Serebii, and upon time of posting I have only checked it and Bulbapedia once (earlier today), so there is the small chance that some of this information is wrong, but still.

This certainly puts doubt of the mystery rumor of the last page, but it doesn't disprove it. In fact, there is one piece of optimism I can point out right now regarding this "new move" argument. As those of you that have beaten the Elite Four may have noticed, Alteria gets access to Moonblast now. Besides Altaria, only Lunatone and fairy-types can learn this move. Lunatone has a very valid reason to be an exception, but why Altaria? It doesn't have any relation to the moon as far as I know. I'll check its Bulbapedia page again soon to confirm this, but it seems a bit strange.

Shut up MR, Troll Freak can break the game enough with solely their own ideas.

rs mega evos and also magikarp is awesome

Charmander could learn Metal Claw in FRLG via level up, but Gen 4 made it an Egg move. Pokemon's level-up movesets can change from game to game, i.e. from Platinum to HGSS, or BW1 to BW2. The moveset changes might not happen to accommodate RS mega evolutions 'til said game, since said Mega evolutions wouldn't be available 'til then; or in another game at all. Like how Shaymin and Giratina's other forms weren't available in Diamond or Pearl, but every Pokegame from then on included 'em.

Point bein', your point has some validity to it, but not enough t' prove or disprove the RS mega evolution leak.

I don't even wanna disprove it. At all. And it has basically no evidence going for it right now, although the Altaria point is somewhat encouraging. Somewhat.
